Update, I took my Bandit 19xpc chipper to Cal Line to diagnose an overheating code and to do a thorough checkup on the machine since I had recently purchased it used. Anthony from service got my machine looked at quickly and kept checking in with updates. Ron the technician went over everything with me when I picked the machine up and gave me some tips and advice regarding my specific machine and engine including the most important things to watch to keep it running for a long time. I had a completely different experience than I did two years ago. I have raised my rating to 4 stars and am confident that after another interaction with this company it will be raised to 5.

I contacted Cal Line to purchase a valve, knives and other parts for my chipper. I left all required information and my phone number with an employee. Two weeks later nobody has gotten back to me. I called Landmark Machinery out of Michigan and they had the parts shipped to my door before Cal Line even bothered to call me back. Having your equipment down while you are running a business costs both time and money, if you want a company that will waste yours call Cal Line.

Scott is great to work with but Kelly is why this is getting a 1 star. Looks like a new guy that just started working there, wanted to charge me 2 hours for assessing the air filter, battery, the lintel hitch and chains that connect to the truck (laughable things) that a 5 year old can tell me and then when I asked him what am I paying for, he says it took them 2 hours to do that, something I could’ve done, but ok in all fairness, even if it took them two hours, he then hangs up on me because he didn’t want to hear me out on why he’s charging me for 2 hours. Very unprofessional and don’t think he’s fit for this position. Honest feedback.

I always get reminded when I go to Cal-line equipment that I made one the best business decisions buying a bandit over a Vermeer because of the service and quick response when something happens which will happen to any machine no matter where you buy. Highly recommend them, they are super professional, good working, respectful and amongst all amazing pricing. I’ve had them trim a large oak in the front , a non fruit bearing pistachio twice and one in the rear years. They are super quick, efficient and clean in the job they do. I have tons of plants in the front where they trimmed the tree and didn’t damage anything. Thank you.

Anyone with large trees in their yard knows how important the upkeep and maintenance are. TreesRUs did a great job trimming and sculpting my three large trees. Richard kept everything moving in the right direction.

Raymond has been my go-to tree guy for about two years now, and he’s done multiple jobs across several of my properties. He shows up when he says he will, explains what he’s going to do, and then just gets it done safely and efficiently. He’s handled everything from basic trimming to bigger removals, and every time the work area is cleaned up really well afterward. Pricing has always been fair and straightforward, with no surprises. As someone who manages a lot of properties and needs reliable people, I really value having Raymond I can count on. Highly recommend his tree service.

West Coast Arborists took out my internet line not once but TWICE while working in the area. Both times my household was left without service, making it impossible to work from home until the lines could be repaired. A professional tree company should know how to identify and avoid utility lines, or at the very least give residents a heads-up before cutting near them. Completely unacceptable. I’d warn any neighbor or business to watch closely if this crew is working near your property.

They trimmed our tree that we paid last week to have trimmed! Dummies!!!

Got Woodchips delivered from them. The driver Nick did a wonderful job, dropped off where we asked and came on time. They have a good communication team, thank you for your hard work!!

West Coast Arborists is a family owned tree Care provider Serving communities who care about trees.

The County of Butte hired West Coast Arborists to remove a hazardous oak which had been dropping limbs into the road below. This ancient Valley Oak was massive, perhaps 60ft or more tall, 10ft across and 23ft in circumference at breast height. The trunk was 6.5 ft diameter at ground level. The company did a top-notch job removing it safely. I gave them access to our cow pasture to work from. They brought a bucket lift, big crane, grapple loader, disposal box, and took 3.25 days to complete the job with a crew of five.

They were extremely skilled, efficient and workmanlike, courteous, friendly, considerate, and very respectful of our property. They even cut me some choice slabs and brought tons of firewood wood to the local fire station for their needs.
My wife and I were very happy with Michael (Supervisor), Alfonso, Jose, Pablo and Rubin.

This company is servicing our HOA in Folsom. Their landscaper always destroys our plants and most recently, accidentally hit our window with rocks from their lawnmower.

We get it, accidents happen. We tried working with them professionally to cover the damage on the window and just let the plant issue go (imagine raising the plants for 3yrs just to be cut). When they came out and assess the damage, they stated they will cover the damages. After we had it fixed they are no longer responding and what’s worse is the HOA emailed us stating:

“Investigating” or someone is good friends or related to this landscaping company.

For context, the plant damage was done AFTER we complained to HOA. We are speculating this is payback.

Josh and his team did a great job trimming my 3 flowering pear trees. They had great team work and finished a well done job in a little time.
I will continue to use Eco Landscape & Tree.

This company was recommended to me because of price. Two months ago, the GM was here to review the job. After chasing him for a couple of weeks, he sent me a quote (which I accepted). Twice next few weeks he scheduled tree removals. Both times he cancelled due to labor shortage. Cancellation emails sent me in the mornings of scheduled dates. Both times he he said would call me same day - did not happen. I am a pretty patient person, so I tried to work with him on new schedule. However, he did not respond to emails, voicemail full. It has been 4 weeks since his last email (where he said: "i very much apologize, but again we are short handed this morning. i am.delayed again and will be calling later this am with an update. thank you").
Finally I reached out to another company (BP Tree Services) What a difference! Responsive staff and somebody actually answers the phone. Lower price and they are at full work as I write this review.

Josh, Robert, Issac, Richard and Andrew were all very friendly and most respectful while on our property. I had a 80 foot redwood tree removed and the crew worked very hard cutting it down and grinding the stump.

Additionally, I had both my Mayten and Japanese trees trimmed by Robert who did an excellent job with Issac's assistance. I've contracted with Eco Landscape and Tree for years.

Kory came out and evaluated my needs, provided a very fair quote and scheduled his team upon my acceptance. The team arrived early and ready to work. They had to take out two trees and prune a tree that was touching my house. The team was friendly, fun and totally professional. I actually wanted to adopt them they had such great spirits. After the job one of the trees that was being supported by a tree that was removed fell over and they came right out and took care of it no questions asked. They left my property in 100 times better shape then when the arrived. I will only use this company going forward!! A+. Josh is my favorite. :-)
