We can't thank ECOSystem's team enough for their amazing work on our retaining wall and drainage issues. Not only did they engineer a comprehensive retaining wall including drainage solutions in our abandoned backyard, but reorganized our backyard to be fully functional.

Jason designed a concept that turned our outdoor living space into a beautiful place to entertain our rather large family with an outdoor kitchen, stainless steel appliances, surround sound audio, a water feature, and edible plants throughout.

ECOSystems installed an irrigation system in our backyard and we were very impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work. The work involved extensive drilling and piles of concrete and fill around the front and back of our home over a period of two weeks. They were good at making the situation as bearable as possible for us and, better yet, we received zero complaints from our neighbors!

EcoSystems removed 3 areas of landscaping and installed a fire moat (a 5' swatch of river rock adjacent to the house) and installed boulders, new drought tolerant landscaping and drip irrigation for all the new planting. I have been a contractor for over 30 years and Jason Hamon has really impressed me with his vast knowledge of plants, soil conditions and irrigation systems. Ecosystems has done very large projects and regular residential size projects and I highly recommend them for your project.

Jason’s breadth of expertise is without compare. Our home is Hillsborough is beautiful and architecturally distinctive. But it is spec house. The quality of construction is subpar. The drainage plan was poor, the construction was even worse. After moving in, we experienced multiple floods into our garage. Several overflowed into the first level of our home, soaking carpets and furniture legs. After spending New Year’s Eve 2023 up to my shins in water, frantically trying to stop the flood into my pantry and living room, I’d had enough. I spent months searching for an adequate contractor who really understood how to remediate our drainage situation without having to completely tear down our house and replace all the soil on our lot. After talking with many contractors and engineers, Jason was the obvious choice. He understands drainage like no one else. He was able to propose workable solutions that addressed our issues. For the magnitude of our problems, Jason’s prices were quite reasonable. Jason was able to repair severe damage to our retaining wall and patio caused by our former uphill neighbor's failure to install adequate drainage when they flipped the property. Other parts of our property were damaged due to heavy rainfall and poor construction. Everything has been fixed. During last year‘s heavy rains, for the first time in 10 years, I was able to breathe a sigh of relief during the storms, knowing my house was finally safe.. Jason has a degree in landscape architecture. He has been certified as an arborist in the past. I spoke with three different certified drainage engineers during our multi-year fiascos. None of them had as complete knowledge of drainage and practical applications as Jason. Jason understands every aspect of landscape and applies his knowledge for your benefit. He has a strong work ethic and is generally very responsive. I can’t express how grateful my husband and I are to Jason for fixing the issues caused by others that had been wrecking our peace of mind for many years. Thank you, Jason

I would highly recommend Ecosystems Landscape Solutions for quality, professionalism, thoroughness and attention to detail. We have worked with Jason for several years now. We started with a defunct lawn and five dogs (I.e. a mud pit due to poor water drainage on our property). Jason installed a wonderful, maintenance free artificial turf space for our puppies. During the storms a few years back the foundation in our garage was leaking, creating a river through our garage. Within a few days, Jason's guys had installed a French drain and professionally sealed and reinforced our garage foundation. He also installed a stone paver driveway, it's awesome. But my most favorite of his creative work is what he did with an unusable space in our backyard. He created an oasis, complete with water feature, raised planters and a beautiful pergola constructed of large redwood beams. His design ideas and knowledge of horticulture is top notch. I would highly recommend him for any job that you would need at your home.

Simply stated, we couldn't be happier the decision to choose EcoSystems! Jason Hamon and team are the best. Jason visited us, drew up a plan, presented options, got us scheduled and knocked the project out on time and within budget (except for the choices we made to go over). He is an expert in soil chemistry and plant selection. He makes reasonable recommendations for alternatives to help stay within budget. His team is friendly, respectful and HARD WORKING! Last but not least, Jason and his team have made themselves available after project completion for minor tweaks, clean up requests, and troubleshooting with the audio/sprinkler systems)! I had the pleasure to hire Jason and his ECOSystems crew to replace our mini side lawn with anti-microbial artificial turf. We have dogs, and they’ve officially picked different areas as their favorite potty and sunbath spots. From the start, Jason and his team were responsive and on time with checking our lawn, providing a competitive estimate (I reached out to several turf landscaping companies to compare rates and services), scheduled the project, and completed on time. Best of all, the crew cleaned up the area after they finished everything, and the whole place looks spotless. Everyone was professional and skilled. From concept to completion, the EcoSystems team was professional, efficient, detail oriented and provided excellent customer service. I am writing this Google review to acknowledge the professionalism and responsible work ethic of Dennis, the owner of Southwood P&H, and his employee, Carlos. Carlos came out to my house to fix a very small waterpipe leak that had gone unnoticed for who knows how long. He immediately made the repair, but also took a picture of the corroded gas pipe behind my 50-gal water heater which was in close proximity to my furnace in a closeted space. He made sure to check the corroded gas pipe for any dangerous leaks before he left. When he returned to the shop, he shared the pic with the owner, who immediately called me to set up an appointment to repair what he saw. The good judgment and knowledge of both Dennis and Carlos saved my place from a potential disaster, for which I will be forever grateful.

For our condo there are a lot of requirements for working on plumbing because it's a big condo complex And luckily Southwood is one of the preferred vendors because they already had their license and insurance on file. I was wary of it because usually it means they would be overpriced but I was actually really happy that it wasn't. The price was more than reasonable and they worked with my and the HOA schedule to make it work. They did a great job and I'm really happy that they did.

More recently I wanted to do another work on my own place and thought of them. Denis the owner called me and let me know that they would need some time to figure out whether the part would fit and once again were honest and said it's probably 2 hours work so he charged per hour which is reasonable.

Overall I'd totally consider using them for my plumbing or water heater jobs.
