I had Alan Levy stucco and paint the outside of my house and garage. I was so happy with the results that I had him redo the inside of my house as well. He knocked out walls, remodeled my kitchen, put in new hardwood floors, and painted the entire house. The whole project was completed on time and done well. I would recommend him to anyone that wants construction work done on their house.

After meeting with several contractors for Phase 1 of our 3 phase construction project we had almost given up on remodeling our master bathroom. But in came Alan. Alan was reasonable, professional, honest and understood that we didn't want nor need anything grandiose. We had our own ideas/desires about what we wanted and so his style worked for us. Our master bathroom went off without any issues. It was finished in a little over 6 weeks. Fast forward about 15 months and we just engaged him to complete Phase 2 (entire downstairs demo, new flooring, new bathroom, entire new kitchen including all cabinets, appliances, moving electrical and plumbing, removing a fireplace, extending a soffit, drywall, countertops, etc). Alan has gone above and beyond yet again to ensure that my husband and I, who are extremely particular and nitpick on everything, have had every need met (even to the extent of taking a call on a Saturday night at 7pm when we thought we had a water leak - we did). Our original timeline given was 6-8 weeks. Even with a majority of hiccups over the last two weeks (all of which were resolved and were not entirely the product of construction - problems with appliances, etc) they still finished early (just shy of 6 weeks). We are planning Phase 3 for later this year which will be the smallest job (only flooring and an upstairs bathroom) to finish out our three phases. We have been SO thankful and appreciative of Alan and his team. We know we can be pains and ask a lot of questions but he seems to understand that is the nature of being in Construction. Mr. Construction (Alan Levy) remodeled our Mira Mesa house expanding from the front out and the back out, from the original home size of 1300sqft 3-bedroom, 2-bath to a 2141sqft 4-bedroom home. Our newly remodeled home over exceeded our expectation, from the open floor concept design, large dining and living area. We are impressed with Mr. Construction’s professionalism, responsiveness to our concerns or issues, and his willingness to updates plans during and throughout the project. I highly recommend Mr. Construction and his crew to anyone who plans on remodeling their property. He did an amazing work while updating us every step of the way.

We were looking for a general contractor to perform the work that we had recently pulled a permit for to remodel our house which included removing a section of a load bearing wall, relocating our washer and dryer and adding a powder room.

We took in bids from multiple sources and ultimately Alan from Mr. Construction was the most responsive and willing to work with us in regards to our costs based on our project needs.

His crews arrived on the days that they were scheduled and if there were delays or issues we were told ahead of time so that we could plan around them. When his crew arrived they were very professional and ensured to take care of the environment that they were working in and left it in same condition or made sure that some patch was made (surprises always happen during demo).

Alan completed his contract at or before the time he has put on the paperwork and was transparent about what costs were required as additional and was very willing to discuss any issues or concerns we had.

I would recommend Alan to anyone else who may be looking to do a remodel or changes to their home.

Alan has extensive experience and a solid crew. I wanted to go through a contractor to handle our home refresh projects because I wanted them handled professionally and in a timely manner. I am so glad we went this route. Our paint and tile projects were wrapped up within a few weeks of signing the contract. All done with quality. I appreciated the fact that even though our job was relatively small in the scheme of things, it was still a priority. Highly recommend Mr. Construction.

I found this company on Google and Yelp. I sent my ADU project design and plan including my personal information on February 13. Alan set up appointment to see the job site on Feb 15. He did not come and he canceled the appointment. Then, he sent my project to other contractors without my permission including with my personal information. He is not professional. Watch out.

I added a family room to the back of my home, and extending the master bedroom and bathroom. Alan Levy "Mr Construction" was always on time, from the first meeting to the last. He was always available to take my calls. Most importantly, he actually LISTENED to me and what I wanted.. not what he thought it should be. He offered great suggestions, such as pot lights and ceiling fans. I was very happy about that, and the overall experience. Alan was here for every inspection, and we passed every time! The work stayed on schedule. If I had a change order it was no problem, and we'd agree on a price. He was very reasonable, and worked within my budget. His crew was always on time, and were nothing but nice and polite. They would work all day. They were very competent, and always left the work site clean. My son in law would stop by for me, to check on the progress, and he would always tell me how lucky I was with this company. I certainly would recommend Alan, and Mr. Construction to anyone who had a project they want done right, and completed on time.

We are beyond happy with the work that was done by Mr. Construction. I called to get an estimate from Alan Levy and he returned my call immediately, a rarity in this industry! This set the tone for the entire job. Alan was responsive and communicative, never left us without answers. We did a bathroom remodel, an exterior door replaced with a window, electrical fan installs and an interior wall ledge removed. The crews he used were professional and did incredible work. Alan stayed true to his estimate and only were charged for additional items that we requested beyond what was initially contracted. We also stayed on schedule and he was able to start our job on time. We love our new bathroom and all the updates to our house. When we have another project come up, Mr. Construction will be our only call.

He provided quality work, competitive pricing and was truly professional throughout the project. I can’t say enough good things about Voila Handyman. I would certainly recommend Voila Handyman for any home projects you may have. If they cannot help you, most likely they can recommend someone. They are honest, efficient, and easy to work with always going the extra mile to ensure satisfaction. We started by having them paint the entire interior of our home while we were away. We returned to what felt like a brand new home. Everything had been put back as it was, and we were quite pleased.
We then hired them to redo an unfinished storage room, and it turned out so nicely, we are now also able to use it for exercise. They even hung up my bike when I asked!
Another one of the many projects they completed for us was removing a doggie-door in our kitchen and creating this beautiful tile mural to cover the spot of stucco that did not match on the exterior of the home. We are very happy with the work, and we will continue to use them in the future!
