Kevin, the owner, is incredible. I recently started renting a place with a hot tub and I called in to have someone come down to teach me how to do maintenance on it. Instead Kevin took twenty minutes out of his day to walk me through the 101s of spa maintenance. Incredibly knowledgeable and honest and really seemed concerned with me making good decisions for my spa and for my wallet. I'll keep them in mind as long as I have this place!!!

I was desperate to find a reputable company that could fix my non functional old LED spa light. These folks were terrific. My situation was complicated but Lance was timely and gave me options and did the job wonderfully. Much better pricing and service than my own pool service company offered.

Great service! I approved an estimate for pool filter pump and pad replacement, and when the team at ProTouch came out & got to work they found ways to reduce cost, and ending up invoicing me for half of the amount I had approved.

I found out about ProTouch when my existing pool service subcontracted their services for anything beyond chemicals or filter cleaning. I will be dealing with ProTouch directly for any pool needs going forward.

We just moved to San Diego and our pool was a mess. I’ve never owned a pool and Lance took the time to explain everything to me and give me options for repair. He was able to get to our repair quickly and so far so good! He exceeded my expectations by cleaning our pool pump area (which was disgusting) and left everything cleaner than when he started. We called ProTouch to re plumb our pool equipment after I removed our old pool heater. While out, ProTouch did a free water test and spotted several issues with the water chemistry. I had them preform a phosphates/algae treatment and come back for a filter cleaning. I'm taking the time to thank them for all of the great advice on how to better take care of my pool and water. I highly recommend them for being so fair and knowledgeable.

We’ve been wronged by 2 pool cos. The first one left a piece of our Vac-mate in the skimmer line during hook up & never said a word. We began having water flow issues & didn’t know why. We ended up firing this company for an unrelated issue - they couldn’t maintain our water, turning our pool purple & blue!

The 2nd co. did ok with water maintenance, but kept insisting our water flow issues were caused by old & faulty equipment, despite the fact that our filter was only halfway through its life & the pump was only 3 years old! They promised to troubleshoot the water flow, but unknown to us, ultimately had neither the desire nor the capability to fulfill their promise & just wanted to sell us a shiny, new filter & pump. As non-experts, we didn’t have much of a choice but to trust when they said there was nothing wrong with the skimmer line.

Long story short, after installation of new equipment, we still had water flow issues.

ProTouch to the rescue. I talked with Kevin, the owner, who was 100% transparent about their capabilities, and assured me they would either be able to help us out, or make sure they handed us off to someone who could. Lance from ProTouch found the problem right away (the stuck piece was visible) & took the time, & effort to dislodge the tightly stuck plastic piece from the skimmer line.

He also took the time to outline what pool maintenance requires and gave us an introduction to pool ownership, all while being cognizant and respectful of our time. When we bought our house we had never owned a pool and we were completely overwhelmed with how to properly care for it. We called ProTouch Pool Services based on reviews and hired them to do our weekly pool cleaning and service. Kevin is always responsive, has provided us with tons of valuable information, and our pool looks sparkling clean. So glad we hired true professionals.

We are in process of buying a new home with a fairly old pool and decided to hire a pool specialist to perform an inspection of the condition of the pool and equipment. Due to the short timelines involved in removing contingencies we needed a quick response and Kevin was able to schedule the inspection the following morning. He was very thorough and clearly has extensive experience and knowledge of all types of pools. He explained everything he observed during the inspection and pointed out all of the signs of wear and tear. He answered all of our questions and made sure we clearly understood what he was checking. He explained the function and operation of the filter and pump system and made recommendations for some cheap and quick fixes we should make once we take over ownership to improve the pool system. He offered to teach us how to do the weekly maintenance over a short phone call at no extra charge to ensure we know how to maintain the pool in great condition. After the inspection we feel comfortable that we are not purchasing a pool with major flaws that will turn into a headache and money pit in the near future, and we know we have a great resource for our pool needs. I would highly recommend ProTouch Services for home buyers in need of a pool inspection.

We had ProTouch come out to look at our new home pool equipment and check water as items were not functioning well. They were extremely knowledgeable and gave several options for fix, replace, and/or continue use. It was nice NOT to get the oversell pitch and instead we were given various options to choose from. I'd highly recommend these guys for any and all pool equipment or pool maintenance questions or needs.

Lance and team were outstanding. My motor died on us and we needed it fixed asap. I work 12 hours a day and the customer service was very patient with my wife and ask her questions. Had a quote the same day for my review and two days later they were at the house on time, new motor installed and tested and programmed and he even took the time to show me how everything worked and why it worked that way. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Lance and the whole team you guys rock!!!!

We recently bought a home and needed an expert to evaluate our pool/spa and solar system during home inspection, Kevin was on-time, knowledgeable, detailed and reasonably priced. We trusted his advice and contacted him after purchase of home and he kindly spent additional time to walk me through the operating system. If you are looking for a trusted expert in pool/spa and solar system, Kevin is your guy.

Had a leaking pool pump that was at least 10 years old. Called up Protouch and they put me in touch with Lance. He came over and diagnosed the issue and said it was the seals that needed replacing and quoted me for the work. He took apart the pump and the underside of the motor housing was cracked, calcified, and deformed. He told me he could still replace the seals and put it back it should work, but there's no way to tell how long. He quoted me on the spot for a replacement pump with labor and said he could get the pump in a day and try to schedule me ASAP. He put the pump back to work in the interim and came by 2 days later and replaced the pump. Protouch/Lance were super easy to work with and I recommend them 100%. I will likely reach out again to them to switch out my old DE filter for a cartridge filter in the not too distant future. Good, solid work, no strongarm sales tactics. Easy choice to go with them again.

Lance is awesome! He came out and quickly fixed pool issues we have been dealing with for years. It's great to know we're in good hands with any repairs we may need in the future. Very reasonable pricing and excellent service, I highly recommend. Our pup was quite fond of him, too.

Every once in a while, and it’s not often, you find a company that is outstanding. I feel so lucky I found ProTouch. They are by far one best companies I have dealt with since moving here 3 years ago.

Protouch installed our new heater 18 months ago and we were pleased with the service and price. When we recently saw it seriously leaking and sent Lance a photo, his response was prompt and informed - albeit bad news for us. He guessed that our pool water was so acidic it had destroyed the equipment and told me where to take a water sample in for testing so that we could know if the warranty would be honored. When acidity was off the charts, he offered to send his team to help us right the chemistry. While the whole situation (we had to empty the pool which had also filled with copper stripped from the equipment by the acidic water) was disastrous, ProTouch hand held us thru it. Lance found a replacement part so we did not have to buy an entirely new heater, and they are now managing the routine cleaning and maintenance — which our unqualified (unlicensed, uninsured) pool cleaner had done so ineptly and ultimately at great cost.

I was looking for a service to fix my spa heater and start servicing my spa. I hit the jackpot with Pro Touch. Lance was very knowledgeable and pinpointed the problem. Alan explained what needed to be done to service the spa every week and started in right away. And the prices were very reasonable. Couldn't be more pleased. Strongly recommended.

As a new Home Buyer I waned to ensure I brought in someone who knew their stuff to complete a thorough pool inspection- and I can truly say Kevin from ProTouch is just that! Kevin from ProTouch is awesome. ! He came in promptly for our pool inspection as part of our home inspection while in escrow. Fortunate to have had him over month all zillion companies around!. He was very patient and took time to explain all the aspects in detail and depth. He gave out very reasonable estimates for all the repairs and possible maintenance issues with the pool. All in all; he seemed quite knowledgeable and honest.
