Completely disappointed on the level of professionalism and timeliness of this company. I had the initial installation of solar panels in December 2024 and have yet to have anything active. ( It is now March 17th, 2025 ) I DO NOT RECOMMEND DEMAND CONSTRUCTION ! I have the regret of signing the contract! Do not waste your time nor money with them!

The Demand Construction team were great. They explained the program thoroughly, how it works and how it could benefit home owners to drastically reduce their electricity bill.

My only advice is a signed contact should be implemented after the assessment report is completed not before. Other than that, it was a good experience and I would recommend them. As always and with any company, do your due diligence.

After comparing a few quotes, we went with Demand Construction and it paid off. Cheyanne handled the site survey with remarkable attention to detail, the panels went up in two days, and they even squeezed in an extra module per our request. Two months later, we’re enjoying consistent 60% savings on energy. Fantastic VALUE and service.

I cannot speak for Demand in regards to the entire process (I.e. installation, project delivery, etc.) but I had a great experience with Kevin Taing who is one of their Sales Reps. Kevin was attentive, provided value and handled himself with grace. He followed up but was never overbearing. If you are beginning to conduct discovery into solar, it's worth giving Demand and Kevin some of your time for a discussion.

Overall, a positive experience. Demand Construction delivered on performance and quality. We did face a threeweek permit delay, but Marcia in support kept me updated daily and worked with the city to clear the backlog. In the end, the array meets our output goals and looks sleek on the roof. THANKS!

This company is incompetent and can’t deliver on its services or promises. Please do not go with these people. I have been following up with them for almost 1 year and my panels are still not in service. The people don’t know what they are doing and there is constant turnover. Keep getting run around. Please please please do not work with this company! I have already paid for the solar and it’s been almost a year without them finishing this project out.

The solar installation crew did a great job despite a few small setbacks. Jonathan, my sales guy, was very responsive and answered all my questions. There were a couple of minor delays with parts, but the team came back quickly to fix everything. My system is finally generating full power and looks fantastic on my roof. I appreciate how they handled the issues and made sure I was satisfied in the end.

I have no idea if they are a legitimate business or not anymore. Ron has stopped responding to my calls. No install date set for more than 4-5 months. I guess I will call the lender to tell them that this was most likely a scam and see if they can cancel the loan.

I’m writing this review to shed light on the company’s practices. We were hired to install a new roof for a solar customer, and it’s been four months since the installation. Despite our efforts, they still haven’t paid us and have completely disregarded our calls. To make matters worse, we had to resort to placing a lien on the homeowner’s property.

Upon speaking with the homeowner, we discovered that they had previously installed with this company on two different properties and has encountered issues with both. It’s evident that this company prioritizes its own interests over the well-being of its contractors and homeowners. As a homeowner, I strongly advise seeking alternative options to avoid being exploited by this company.

My solar panels are working perfectly, and my electric bill has dropped dramatically. I am 100% satisfied with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to improve their home's energy efficiency. Outstanding team, outstanding results!

Delay after delay, lie after lie about the cause of the delay.

I signed a contract with Demand back in October, and here we are midway through April and it's still not complete. It's been Tesla's fault for not shipping them enough product, it was PG&E's fault for delays in getting the backup switch hooked up (when the backup switch wasn't even on site, yet they blamed PG&E). And now they're telling me it will be up to another three months before San Jose can do final inspection. But no dates can be given. All in all, we're looking at 9 months to bring 17 solar panels and one power wall online.

When I talked to the PG&E guy who hooked up the backup switch his jaw dropped when I told him how long it's been. He hadn't seen anything like that with any of the other site's he's visited.

I will say so far their work seems good. It's rained a bunch and no leaks detected. I did catch by camera one of their workers drilling holes in the porch roof while another one said "a little more to your left. No, right now, left, left". I'm not in construction but I've got to imagine there's a better way to ensure you're drilling into the rafter vs just the plywood.

This is the second home I've put solar on, so I don't feel like I have unreasonable expectations. But there's no transparency here. Terrible company to work with.

I also wanted a PW3 expansion pack, which they said they could get me later, and now they're telling me that it'll be 6-9 months before they can get those in stock due to "industry delays". Meanwhile I got quotes from several other companies, one of which I worked with prior and know to be good company, and they've all said they have them on hand and can install immediately.

After receiving a $10k+ deposit for solar installation, they will not respond to messages or calls, and have no indication they will complete the project. Strongly recommend to avoid Demand.

Easily one of the worst companies I have worked with. It almost feels like I am begging them. They do not pick up their phones or return calls. It’s been almost 4 months now and no movement on my solar installation.
