This is the second time I've used Continental for a repair. The first time was OK, this time was not.
It took 5 days to schedule an appointment. Scheduling was challenging, since no one was available to answer the phone during the day on weekdays, and no one called back when I left a message. However I did get an email confirmation of my appointment.
Unfortunately, the servicemen were no-shows for the first appointment, meaning we had to be at home all afternoon waiting, only for no one to show up. When I called the receptionist, she said she forgot to schedule my appointment.
The servicemen arrived for the rescheduled appointment, only to tell us that they could not diagnose the problem with the washer since one of the servicemen had a bad knee and the other could not slide the washer out on his own. They were ready to leave, but I offered to work with them to move the washer, on my own if necessary.
I had mentioned that it seemed like the drive belt had broken more than once when scheduling. Indeed, the belt was broken, and surprisingly, the servicemen had none, none in stock, so they needed to order one.
They said they would call when it came in. Meanwhile, these belts are sold in SF, so I purchased one and installed it myself. Continental did call back over a week later to schedule another visit to complete the repair - way too little, way too late.

I spoke to Sal when my Danby dishwasher broke, and he actually worked with me to get the service manual so that I could repair it myself. He went out of his way to reach out to the manufacturer.

He was incredibly friendly and helpful even though this was not a paid job.
