When we moved into our house in San Francisco, we had a chimney sweep come out to check our wood stove and chimney. Dillon inspected everything, let us know it was in good shape, and shared some easy maintenance tips to keep our fireplace running safely and smoothly. Later on, we had some trouble with our fire not burning well, and Dillon talked me through a few steps over the phone to fix it myself before scheduling a visit. He really wanted to help me learn and solve the problem instead of just coming out and charging right away. It's rare to find that kind of honesty and care these days.
