I just hired Margarito for a third job. He did outdoor lighting and bathroom lighting at my home. Those jobs went so well I hired him to do all new lighting at our gym. It was a huge job. Margarito and his crew worked for 14 hours straight to finish in the time frame we had. I already have another job in mind for them……

They managed the entire scope of the project seamlessly, including hiring the trenching contractor and handling all the difficult coordination with city inspectors and PG&E. Professional. In a word, that’s Aguilar Electric. Smart and knowledgeable also come to mind. Having acquired an older home, I hired Aguilar to remedy a difficult wiring problem and to repair nonfunctioning electrical outlets on the exterior of the building. They arrived on time and worked efficiently. To begin, they explained what needed to be done, the repair options, and the cost. I was very pleased with the outcome. Now I have additional electrical upgrades in mind. There is no doubt that I will have Aguilar Electric back again.

I highly recommend working with Aguilar Electric. The reason is simple: they showed up the same day, quoted a reasonable rate, and were completely transparent from the start.

They told me clearly, “If we get it solved and working, you pay. If we don’t, you won’t.” That alone earned my trust.

In the end, they weren’t able to get my new Nest thermostat up and running—not because of a lack of skill, but because my HVAC system wasn’t compatible. What really stood out was that they fully diagnosed the issue, explained exactly why it wouldn’t work, and then refused to charge me since the job couldn’t be completed.

I even offered to pay them anyway out of appreciation for their time and effort, and they declined again, saying they only charge when they get it done.

That level of honesty and integrity is rare. If that doesn’t deserve a five-star review, I don’t know what does. I would absolutely work with Aguilar Electric again and recommend them without hesitation.

Gustavo was great to work with. We lost power in our basement and one bathroom, and several outlets were not working. He came the very next morning, arrived on time, and carefully troubleshot the issue. He was able to restore power and get all the outlets working again. His pricing was reasonable, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. I would definitely recommend him for electrical work.

Margarito and his crew are incredibly professional and experts at what they do, their collaboration and attention to detail was exceptional. They are responsive and worked within our timeline, they delivered great work on a knob and tube replacement for an old house we had purchased, and had everything up and running by our move in date. They also added in extra details like an EV charger and new dryer plug. We could not be happier with their work, when we need electrical services in the future, we will go with Aguilar. I am very happy with the upgrade project Aguilar Electric did. They took care of the application for the work, scheduled all the appointments with both PG&E and City permits and being present at all the inspections and the work PG&E had to do. They did the whole project very quickly, efficiently and clean.
