I have a property in Los Angeles that needed to be retrofitted. After doing a lot of research, we decided to go with SFT Construction. They work with integrity and are very reasonable as far as the pricing and they walked us through every step of the way! The workers were very clean as well and I would recommend them if you’re in need of any construction work for Soft Story.

SFT Completed a Soft Story Retrofit project in 2018 for a five unit building built in 1976. The original engineering plans were permitted by the city, but weren't correct due do the engineer placing sheer walls under stairs and where electric and gas service comes in. I called SFT and Shayan came over. He inspected, did the basement crawl, did some calculations on his PC, and gave me a number which included new engineering drawings. I also got two other estimates and SFT was about 20% less expensive than both. Very professional Foreman and Crew. Shawn was our foreman for this project and was always available. His crew were very clean and kept the work-space organized. Shawn took over and worked with the City to get all permits, finals, and Certificate of Completion from the SFDBI. Work was estimated 8-12 weeks but was completed 90% in about 6 weeks. They know their stuff and I would recommend them for future projects.

I've been an engineering consultant in San Francisco for 10 years and SFT Construction is my most recommended contractor. They consistently quote the best prices while performing excellent work. Be sure to touch base with them before starting your project.
