I hired Sanchez Brothers for interior painting, There workers provided poor quality of work. I had to go to every room show them mistakes. Just the other day I found additional mistakes. Maybe there more qualified for construction. Never will I use or recommend this company.

We had Quartz Construction San Jose and their team remodel our basement from scratch. They provided estimates and suggestions for designs, and really delivered. Provided excellent and a high-touch service!! We are really pleased with the results and I highly recommend them..

Excellent workmanship and professionalism from Ohad (owner), Luis and David! Ohad is very thorough going over the details of the project, cost and time. Luis and David were on time, worked extremely hard and cleaned up the site at the end of every day. Luis would let me know immediately if there were any issues (a couple and very minor) and the quality of workmanship is amazing. I had all my cabinets, countertops, backsplash tiles and fixtures ordered and in stock (with guidance from Ohad) before work began and the entire process took two weeks!

Needless to say hiring Quartz Construction San Jose company was the best decision ever. My home is almost done. Very professional and I have had a great experience. Their commitment and the way they communicate is amazing. I would highly recommend this company.

Ohad at Quartz Construction is simply the best contractor I’ve ever worked with! He is very knowledgeable about all areas of construction and remodeling. We just finished up remodeling our master bathroom, raising our ceilings in that bathroom, opening up our entryway and raising the ceilings throughout the entry and hallway. It turned out even better than I could have imagined. Working with Ohad and his team was so easy. They are all incredibly professional, always on time, and great with communicating during all phases of the projects. Their timelines were accurate; work was not rushed but done very efficiently. The work was always done with amazing precision and Ohad was regularly coming over to check on the progress. They were all very good about asking us questions throughout the process to ensure we were getting exactly what we wanted. Another wonderful benefit of using Ohad is his diligence in working with the city to get permits. He starts right away with trying to get on the schedule and continues to check in with them in case of any earlier openings, so that the project is never held up. Both inspections ended up being on a Saturday and Ohad never hesitated to be present for the inspectors, even if that meant sitting around waiting for them. I trust Ohad and his entire team with treating my house like their own and taking the utmost care to make everything just right. I look forward to working with Ohad on future projects.

Mastersuite remodel - created separate office within existing floorspace by adjusting bathroom and closet size. Great experience from start to finish. Ohad Mahoul, owner of Quartz, is very easy to work with, made helpful recommendations for material supplies, regularly visited our home throughout the project and responded very swiftly to calls and emails from start to finish; Ohad’s foreman, Luis, and co-workers, all worked tidily, respectfully and professionally - they were all very pleasant to have around. We made a few adjustments to our project along the way, which the team were happy to accommodate - nothing was too much trouble. The job required plumbing, electrical, lighting, carpentry, bathroom tiling, quartz counter and shower installation, painting, installation of both engineered wood and tiled flooring. We are delighted with the results and are hoping to work with Quartz again on another project at our home.

A while back, we dealt with a huge disaster at home. The roof started leaking and as a result some walls were damaged. Quartz Construction came to our rescue faster than we would ever hope for. When we explained the situation to Ohad, he promised to help fast and he did. After water damage restoration, his team installed a new drywall and tile floor. Needless to say that the roofers worked hard to fix the problem to prevent another calamity. We really thank them all and recommend their roofing, floor, and drywall service.

Quartz Construction San Jose did a superb job on both my master bathroom and my powder room. The quality of the workmanship was very good, and the service was superb. They also provides many valuable suggestions and ideas. We are very happy with their work and strongly recommend this company.

I made this mistake going with this company for my major house remodel ,which I had planned for and saved money for a long time, but now I am stuck with issues across all the areas they worked on and every day I find myself regretting the decision and cursing this company, my fate, seeing and dealing with the issues every day. My house has become a neighborhood joke and a cautionary tale about remodel mistakes to avoid.
I learned the hard way that with this company, the only thing that matters is maximizing their own profit. PERIOD. which means pressuring into changing the scope last minute, hiring very cheap , incapable , inexperienced labor, not paying them as promised on time or paying very little, making them resentful and as payback they do a bad job, or simply walk away from the job.
Moreover there is no quality check or monitoring or inspections scheduled , simply shows up to collect check and if questioned about the quality and delays, it's like dealing with the mafia boss. Of course I should have been more courageous and deeply involved to kick them out right in the beginning or enforce timely inspections, question them to catch issues promptly. But that's why we hire and trust these companies right ? Because we have our regular jobs to do. In my case this trust was 100% shattered and I find myself not trusting anybody anymore.
Just to name a few issues I am finding after the remodel was as so called "completed" my skylights installation started leaking all over the kitchen, blew up my recessed lighting, due to other roofer review I found that there was no weatherproofing done by the cheap installer he hired who just skipped all the weatherproofing work to maximize his profit. There is no proof of inspection performed.

Laundry relocation to garage : crew left a big hole from crawl space into the garage which led rats entering the garage and now I dealing with rat infestation. Attic space barrier from garage into rest of the area broken and never covered , so infestation now spreads all over the house, and now all of us losing sleep every night.

Garage completion work and expectations were discussed well in advanced with his associate , but he spend 2 hours to force me into changing the scope, leading to unpleasant, aggressive back and forth so he can save cost on the bloody lumber and labor. Keeps adding to the disappointment .
Apparently additional electric sub panel was added for distributing the load, now we intermittently lose power to part of the house requiring hard power reset.

Shower basically becomes pool of water due to inaccurate slope . Incorrectly installed my Grohe shower system , now it just throws out extreme hot water

Crews do not follow the instruction for installing the fixtures, windows and when corrected , become agitated and aggressive due to rework. Multiple cabinet doors were scratched and dented

External smooth stucco work is the biggest joke of all where people can see weirdness and bumps from the street, Despite the fact I had showed him a great , professional stucco job across the street multiple times. Goal was to shove something down my throat as fast as possible and get paid.
Internal smooth stucco started showing cracks within 6 months.
And the list goes on and on.,, worst part is when contacted about these issues, there is no sense of responsibility and accountability, or offer to help resolve rather I was told to contact the horrible sub contractors he hired and deal with it myself.

Expanding our home felt like a big step, but Ohad guided us through every stage. The finished addition looks great and fits in perfectly. Everything was done efficiently and without any surprise costs.

We contracted with Quartz Construction to remodel our 2 bathrooms, first the master bath, then the hall. We re-configured the master bath moving plumbing/electrical and made the shower bigger. They were a great help in making a small bathroom feel larger and lighter and making best use of the space. Our hall bath was a refresher with everything upgraded but kept in the same configuration. The crew was great, arriving on time, staying on schedule, and cleaning up daily. If we needed small tweaks or had questions it was no problem. If we needed assistance with purchasing finishes or finding a vendor, they were happy to help, could be easily contacted, and responded quickly. Great customer service.

They provided a written estimate detailing work and materials, proof of insurance and licensing, obtained the city permit, and provided an estimated work schedule and payment schedule. The process was smooth and clear and the quote was competitive with other contractors.

We are thrilled with the new bathrooms, they turned out beautifully. We recommend Quartz highly.
