It’s refreshing to find contractor services where the team actually listens to what you want. They did a custom build for our backyard studio and the attention to detail from start to finish was impressive.

Noam and his team did an outstanding job! They went above and beyond, always making sure every detail was taking care of and that I was happy with it.
It’s safe to say I’m very particular and Noam and his team amazed me. Can’t wait to do more house projects with them!

Great job on a kitchen and bath remodel in a 1930 westside Paso Robles home. Work was done within the estimated time, and all of the guys working were very professional, friendly, and respectful. Noam even got me a good deal to have the entire interior of the home remodeled.

In the middle of pandemic we purchased a single family house in San Jose and needed a kitchen and bathroom remodel. We contacted all bay builders and Noam came out for a free consultation. He gave us a few Options for the remodel. What we liked most is the attitude and customer service. He was in charge of getting the work done and helped us getting the counter tops and cabinets and flooring. They provided few samples of each material we we’re inserted in ,They took care of getting the permit for the job and scheduled inspections. Also they took care of upgrading our electrical and plumbing before putting the new cabinets. Over all great service. Prices are fair and job done in few weeks and ahead of schedule. We recommend all bay builders performance for they honesty and managing the project to perfection !!

Update:

They were supposed to close all entrances in attic to prevent rodents to enter. 9 months after we moved into the house we are hearing scratching noises in attic. Now we need to pay pest control companies to deal with that.

We hired Meni for a full house renovation, but after moving in, we not only encountered numerous issues but also found that they had severely damaged the house and scammed us by charging for major fundamental work that was never completed. There is no warranty, and once he received his payment, he refused to solve the major issues. The only way you can make them responsible is through CSLB and suing them in court. Stay away from them.

We paid for full house repipe but no pipes are replaced under the house. Whatever you don’t see is either damaged or not touched, despite being charged for the job.
After many attempts to fix the problems in just three months, we still have severe water hammering from all faucets and toilets. Meni was frustratingly hard to address any fixes, and often left without resolving the issues. Here are some of the issues we faced, resulting from a lazy job, lack of thorough checking, and cutting corners:

- The full house repipe was not done. Galvanized and old pipes are still under our house, and were not insulated (a code violation). Pipes are loose and not secured properly. We were charged, but the pipes were not replaced.
- Severe water hammering throughout the house, in the walls and under the house. Meni refused to fix it. We hired a plumber who discovered loose pipes inside the walls.
- Electrical work is not up to code, causing frequent breaker trips by a hair dryer.
- Deck tiles cracked badly within a month, as Meni insisted on buying inappropriate tiles from a specific store.
- Walls are cracked.
- Garage flooring is already buckling.
- AC airflow is too low in one room.
- The master closet door, not chosen well and installed poorly.
- Missing pieces such as cabinet shelves.
- kitchen cabinets and vanities were installed and removed multiple times and left with many ugly holes.
- The wrong skylight was installed and didn’t open until after much frustration. Meni told me to go up the ladder and fix it myself. After many contacts, he finally came and saw the installation trouble.
- Windows were not installed properly.
- The garbage disposal was improperly installed, causing multiple kitchen floods. It took Meni four visits to fix it, and we still avoid using it because we don’t trust their work.
- Several jobs we paid for were never completed. We were not refunded and were charged more than agreed, including for bathroom layout and yard leveling. We also had to pay for damages incurred during the work.
- Meni promised to address termite activity where he was working or notify us if there was any. He assured us there were no termites, but they were visible. We had to bring in an inspector and now need fumigation after moving in because we trusted him.
- took him 45 days to respond city in the process of getting permit. Finally we followed up otherwise who knows how much more time he would wait for basic questions of city.

Overall, the project was disorganized and poorly managed, making this the most horrible experience we’ve ever had. We do not recommend Meni at all.

They left a voice mail for us, threatening us to remove our review. They gave us an ultimatum to remove this review or they do this and that.
Not surprising that they don't have many bad reviews with this level of service. If you are not satisfied with their services, they will threaten you.

Original Review:
We hired this contractor for a full house renovation, including re-piping, foundation work, yard leveling, skylight installation, and electrical updates, with a timeline of four months. Unfortunately, our experience was plagued by poor-quality work, delays, and additional costs.

House Re-Piping: The contractor claimed to have completed the re-piping, but after lots of issues with plumbing, a plumber we hired discovered that the contractor have charged us but never done the work and pipes under the house were years old. Also the bathroom pipes were not properly secured. This oversight has led to severe water hammering, putting the house’s plumbing at risk.

Foundation Damage: Despite being provided with an inspection report, the contractor’s work on the piers was substandard, causing foundation damage. Their workers attempted to fix the water hammering they caused, resulting in extensive internal damage—cracks in walls, baseboards, and door frames, plus misaligned doors and windows. A licensed foundation specialist later found that the newly installed beams by this contractor were already tilting, compromising the structural integrity.

Skylight Shaft & Bathroom Shower Issues: The skylight shaft was built incorrectly against manufacturer instructions, making the screen to not fit in it. Additionally, the agreed-upon expansion of the main bathroom shower and charged us for but was never completed.

Backyard and Deck Problems: We were charged $2,600 (more than initially quoted) for leveling and cleaning the yard, which was poorly executed. The improper slope now directs water toward the foundation, risking further damage. Also, the deck stones installed by the contractor cracked and broke within three months, but the contractor has refused to repair it.

Electrical and HVAC Failures: City inspectors flagged the rewiring of the bathrooms as non-compliant with code. One bedroom air register was installed with inadequate airflow, which was ignored by the contractor.

Costly Damages and Double Charges: The contractor damaged several parts of the house, including the front wall, living room ceiling, and a suntunnel, and we were charged for repairs. We were also billed twice for garage drywall installation due to the contractor’s oversight in plumbing placement.

Unprofessionalism and Extended Timeline: When we raised concerns, the contractor shifted blame onto us and failed to address the issues. Although he promised a four-month completion, the work took seven months due to delays in responding to city requirements, leading to additional rent costs.

In summary, this contractor’s lack of professionalism, poor workmanship, and disregard for agreements led to numerous unresolved issues and extra expenses. We strongly recommend seeking alternative professionals for any major renovation work.

Just did partial roof replacement in preparation of the coming solar panel project, chose All Bay Builders eventually after compared multiple quotations, services terms and turnaround time. Quality job done in a timely manner, highly recommended.
