I would have rated them 4+ stars for initial sales, installation and overall pricing and Warantee that they claimed to provide. Once installation was complete I feel that rating has nose dived with the bad experience so far.

First they promised they will give referral fee right away a day after the installation. It has been 1 1/2 years and they have not paid and they keep pushing me off with lip service. I have sent multiple emails and called multiple times.

Second issue is one of my panel was not performing and it’s producing 33% less energy then others, I found the issue instead of them and reported it to them in March and till now I have to call and follow up but no action has been taken yet since 4+ months. Still waiting for help.

Update: Paul responded to my review (below) 1 month ago, saying he would follow up. Needless to say, I have not heard from him. This was just a ploy so that readers thing the company is responding.

Like many others here, I have been the victim of this company. Been trying to get warranty service on several bad panels for months but no phone call, text or e-mail ever gets a response. As things stand, about 20% of my installation produces no power at all and no one cares.

It should be a zero. Our solar has not worked since July 17. My husband had called Paul 10 times before he finally picked up. He said he had something to do and would call back. He never did. Same thing with friends of ours but he finally did talk to them. It turned out there was a part that was bad and under warranty so theirs got fixed. Worst company ever. We referred our neighbor and instead of giving us $500 as promised, they just constantly tell you they just put it in the mail. By that time we just wanted to be done with them. But now the faulty equipment and the lack of service! RUN from this company! Peace of mind is worth a little more!

Our system is not producing energy since July 03, 2024, and I am calling the installer Slingshot power, but no one responding from the company. I left the voice message for Paul few times but no response from him yet. Paul, please call me back to replace the bad inverter. I already received the new inverter for SolarEdge company.

Slingshot power is one of the worst businesses I've ever dealt with.

I originally went with them because I wanted to support a local business and Paul seemed like a friendly guy. Unfortunately the friendliness was a total farce. They took no time in collecting my money for a solar install, however after that there were so many delays that 3 weeks after my initial install date I decided to cancel my contract with them.

It's been 2 weeks now and I still haven't received my refund. They are impossible to get a hold of on the phone and even if you do manage to get a hold of them they keep making promises which they never go through with.

Please read the reviews here and think twice before doing business with them.

It’s been such a bad experience with them , they hardly respond to your calls or messages and haven’t done anything so far which has been productive . Paul dropped in twice at our place , but hasn’t done anything. Our system is under warranty. Would not recommend this company to anyone .

Not reliable slow did not give good customer service

I called MP and scheduled for Marco to come out within the hour. I have an old ZOSI camera system setup and had Marco check it out to see if he was able to update the camera's software. After looking and playing around with the old system, he recommended that I invest in a more updated and sophisticated camera system. My cameras are wifi and require a strong signal for the reception to reach at least several hundred feet. Marco grabbed a piece of paper and drew an illustration of what I would need to get the Reception I required for my cameras that I'm not getting right now. He told me about the system they have, which is wireless, and Compared the difference in quality and connection. He also shared that the equipment is available for payments through their finance department. He emailed me a quote and visual information on his suggested product and provided me with his business card for further support. I highly recommend MP security in the hopes you will also receive and experience this excellent service.

Even though we live in a safe area of town, we though it would be a good idea to get a home security system. Yelp and a referral from a colleague led us to MP Security. Within minutes of requesting a quote, Marco called back and set up an appointment for the following morning.

We had an excellent meeting with him where he was professional, efficient, and very personable. He talked us through all the options and we were able to make decisions that worked for our home environment. We are very pleased that home security with MP Security is affordable. The process was fast and easy. Less that a week later, we have our system installed! Marco, owner and main technician did the install, and gave us a run through of the system.

Marco did a fantastic job for us at Half Moon Fish market in Half Moon Bay. He did everything we asked of him. All of his cameras are really bright and clear. They actually will detect a butterfly or a moth in your home and his app is so easy to navigate through. Marco is the only that does all of our security work for us and we have known him for years. He is so easy to work with.

Marco was absolutely amazing to work with. He was professional, quick to respond, and extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. He made everything feel seamless and was always available to answer any questions I had. His communication and efficiency really stood out, highly recommend working with him!
