Cesar and his crew have done work for me over the last several months. They are always here when they say they will be and work hard. They have taken down large trees and never damaged surrounding property. They clean up (leaving the place better than they found it) blowing off walkways etc. They will always be my 1st call for tree work.

Cesar came out and gave us an estimate the same day we called. We scheduled the work same week, and his crew was prompt, did a great job, and cleaned up everything before leaving. Definitely 5 star service!

Lucatero Tree Services has done a great job helping with my property in Los Altos Hills. We unfortunately had several oak trees die in the past two years. Lucatero service carefully removed these very large trees while preserving the surrounding landscape. They also did an artful pruning of one the remaining oaks to bring back its beauty. They are always on time, careful, safe, and do a great job cleaning up. They were referred to me by my father and I have referred them to several neighbors. I've hired them several times. They have all the gear to climb trees professionally and chippers to clean up the branches.

Had a large tree break and fall during the recent storm. Contacted Lucatero to deal with the tree as well as trim others near my home. Cesar was very responsive and after consulting with him, his crew arrived the very next day. The crew spent nearly a day on the job trimming multiple trees and dealing with a large amount of debris. At the time of completion, the cleanup was nothing short of terrific. I plan to use their services in the future if and when other trees require trimming.

I had great experience - the team provided an estimate the same day I called them and the price was very reasonable. They came a few days later to do the job, proactively and for free removed a few small dead trees and very accurately removed our large tree that died without damaging nearby pool house and other plants. After the job they cleaned everything up. Highly recommend.

I have hired Lucatero tree service several time over the year. Great work every time. I live in the Santa Cruz mountains on five acres. This project was a major thinning of nine oak trees to improve fire safety of our home, pull the tree canopy back from over the swimming pool to limit the leaves falling in the pool and increase the solar heating for the pool. These trees have not been thinned in 50 years. The pictures show the beautiful results of the professional job the crew did in this two day project.
A combination of chipping and burning, we live in Santa Cruz county, was used to dispose of the trimmed material. This approach allowed for a economic project.
They also cleaned up after the work was completed.

Compared to other companies I have reached out to, Lucatero Tree Services were VERY responsive in providing an estimate and came the next day. I was very impressed as to how professional and time efficient the team was. The area was cleared a lot quicker than I had expected and right on time for an event that was going to be held at our property.

We have a lot of trees on our property in the Santa Cruz mountains. Over the years we’ve used many different companies to trim and cut down trees. Several years ago we started to use Cesar and his guys, and have used them ever since, for all of our tree care. They are the best! They are friendly, prompt, reasonably priced, and genuinely nice guys to work with. Their teamwork is great and they do a wonderful and tidy job. I would highly recommend them.

Lucatero arrived as planned to view the site where a large oak had fallen due to recent storms. He briefly explained the work his team would be able to perform, and gave a verbal quote. We felt it was a fair price, so agreed to proceed.
A team of 3 workers arrived on the day and at the time promised, bringing a large truck and chipper with them. They were able to completely remove the tree (we opted to leave the stump) and do the cleanup within 3 hours. The crew was very friendly and courteous. The yard looked great when they were finished. I'd recommend Lucatero Tree Services, and will call him for future work.

My good neighbor and I were both looking for tree work, she needed a large tree thinned out and trimmed back while I was looking for a reasonable cost for tree and stump removal. Cesar and his team did an excellent job, were flexible regarding scheduling, good communications and did a great job. If we need additional work, Cesar will be our first call.

Caesar, the owner of the company, is very easy to work it. He arrives on time for your appointment. When they come to do the work he stays and supervises his crew. They come prepared with all safety gear needed. Highly recommend!
