I was impressed with Rescue Rooter and I'm a stickler for customer service.
Duane B. was prompt, arriving when he said he would several different times. He did the work, explained to me what was going on, and worked his schedule around mine. He was courteous to me and careful not to let my cats out whenever he had to come in or go out. He always put on shoe protectors when he came in. I could not have asked for better service.

Guy M. at ARS exceeded all my expectations with his knowledge and recommendations. I've dealt with a lot of contractors on various home improvement and repair jobs, and this experience was among the best. My new water heater will be installed tomorrow (it's not an emergency or they could have done it today) so their responsiveness was very good.

Edgar and Walter came to help me assess my clogged toilet issue. They were both very friendly and professional. They explained the problem to me and helped clarify any questions I had. Great customer service from both Edgar and Walter. Both seemed very down to earth and knowledgeable in their job. I was only renting from my place and my landlord refused the service but their initial assessment was greatly appreciated.

Jerry and his crew were remarkably kind and accommodating of my special circumstances. They did a beautiful job and went the extra mile for me. I was impressed with the professional and helpful service and good workmanship. And they finished the job in a timely manner.

Jerry C. was very helpful in both cleaning our tankless water heater, and also installing a recirculating pump. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous and a joy to work with. Getting hot water much faster than before. Highly recommended.

Rescue Rooter sent Rafael very promptly to fix my toilet clog. He came within the ETA window and did his work right away. He put shoes plastic cover before coming into my apartment, which was nice. Rafael was very patient and efficient with everything. The toilet was fixed within 10 minutes and he made sure it was fixed by testing the flush several times before he left. Thank you Rafael and Rescue Rooter!!

I called ARS / Rescue Rooter around 5pm on a Monday evening for a Backed up Main Line and they had a Plumber out and the job done before 8pm. The Dispatch employee was very friendly and understanding. The Plumber “ Guy” was awesome. He new his craft and immediately found the problem with my drain and had it flowing in under 30 min. Price was $88 just as advertised. I highly recommended ARS / Rescue Rooter For your backed up main lines. Make sure you have an accessible clean out that makes all the difference.

I will definitely use Rescue Rooter again in the future. I had an urgent issue with an old galvanized pipe that had a hole in it. My tenant was without a kitchen sink and they sent out Enzo within 2 hours of my call to them. He diagnosed the situation and provided me with a reasonable estimate on the spot. He gave me a detailed explanation of the situation and what needed to be done. To complete the job he needed to get the parts. He scheduled me for first thing the following morning. Enzo and Ignacio arrived on time and completed the job efficiently and smoothly. My 5 star rating is based on professionalism, thoroughness, and reliability. Thanks to Enzo my tenant had his kitchen sink back I had peace of mind. Thank you so much for the amazing service!!

I needed to have the long, 1940's sewer line under my house replaced. Enzo was the lead on the project and he was excellent. He explained every step of the process (which took 2 days) and gave me updates regularly throughout the day. He brought a crew of 2 and they worked really well together to get the project done in a timely manner. Their work area was neat and tidy and they designed an approach that caused minimal impact to the house. I very much appreciated Enzo's patience with my questions. I am greatly relieved that what could have been disaster is now taken care of with a 10 year warranty. I highly recommend ARS as a company and Enzo as a lead.

Guy and John were absolutely amazing!! I usually check around for the best deal....but sometimes that backfires! My husband met with Guy and John and they explained everything, answered all the questions he had, and were true professionals.

Amazing service!! A big rock got lodged in the main drain which backed up my entire house; toilets, showers, and sinks. I called ARS Rescue Rooters around 445pm and they were able to get a technician to my house within an hour. Jerry showed up and helped diagnose the exact issue and location of the rock in the pipe within 10 mins. He guided me through all my options, but ultimately fixed the issue himself which avoided the city digging up the sidewalk and spending 10s of thousands of dollars. Thank you soo much Jerry!!

I am reviewing Rescue Rooter professional Dwayne B. Dwayne was the lead at the site (my home) for an exterior sewer line replacement. He was always on-time, arriving at my home as he had committed the day before. He ensured that the site was left cleaned up and in a safe condition each day of the project. His knowledge of the project was high-level. His explanations to my questions were complete and I was able to understand. He is personable and a good team leader. Due to a San Jose City delay in scheduling the city inspection, Dwayne came back to the site twice to ensure that the site was safe. I highly recommend Dwayne and the Rescue Rooter team.

Great Customer Service

Bruce arrived and did a same-day install of our much needed water heater. It had been out while my son was in the hospital and leaked over the stand. Bruce cleared a way the rotted wood stand, and put in a metal stand along with the new water heater. All questions answered. Work on done on time. Would definitely recommend.

I had a kitchen sink backup which resulted in gray water pouring out under the sink. I had confidence in him because of his professionalism. I never felt like he was rushing to get my job done so he could get to the next job. He was easy to work with and told me my options. The work was completed the same day and he left my home clean. Even his wheeled snake cart had blue coverings on the wheels! I will certainly call this company again.

Eric kindly came to my rescue with two toilettes plugged up in our home. He explained all potential options and possible direction this problem might lead to. I agreed and he worked like an expert explaining as he went along what he was trying to accomplish. I called at 4pm on a Friday evening and he was there in an hour. Service !! He fixed it like a pro and and was so careful as we had just painted the rooms a week ago. I would welcome this young man into my home anytime. What a big heart and so kind and honest. ARS/ Rescue Rooter Bay Area South will have my business forever!! He was definitely worth every cent spent as well as the tip.

In short, Guy (the ARS/Rescue Rooter service professional) did a fantastic job, was very professional, polite, and good attitude. For more details please note that this service call was done at 12:30 just after midnight on Thanksgiving morning. My main sewer line was clogged - no fun. I went through the online 24/7 plumbing list by googling "24 hour plumbing" and of course most of those companies lie...they don't have 24 hour service. Even the "famous" other rooter guys who advertise 24/7 said they could come in two days!! But Rescue Rooter, well, came to the rescue. They indicated an estimate of two hours; arrived in a few minutes past that and immediately went to work. My problem was cleared almost immediately as Guy ran the rotor tool down through my outside clean-out pipe end. Guy was even able to tell me approximately how far out the blockage was which coincides with a tree root issue we had about 15 years ago. What's really cool is that recently we have had a slight smell coming from the bathroom sinks when the water runs (coming from the drain) and now that is gone. Very nice. Most all those other 24/7 plumbing sites, in my opinion, are scams, but ARS Rescue Rooter is as advertised and got the job done. Thanks

Bruce was very nice and professional. He replaced our water heater, and a couple valves. He patiently explained every detail and upgrade that he was doing. He replaced the water heater very quickly and professionally. We highly recommend ARS/Rescue Rooter and will continue to use them again for all our plumbing needs. Thank you to Bruce!

Eric Matthew was excellent! Our kitchen sink was stopped up. He spent 3 hours on Saturday fixing it. He was very thorough and explained our options completely. He tried the least expensive option first and gave us a AAA discount too. Highly recommend!

Jerry and Greg are outstanding professionals. We had an external gas line leak on the line that ran out to our pool heater. Other service providers wanted to sell us an entire reinstallation that would have cost $17,000 or more. Jerry understood the technical specifics of the pipe and knowledgeable in a safe, durable more cost effective repair of the damaged section. He and Greg then restored the landscape to its original state. Greg also made a PG&E recommended improvement to meter connection. The system was pressured test and run through its paces. They were in and out in one afternoon. All work came with a 10 year warranty.

We are very satisfied.

Jerry & Lonnie and their crew did a great job of fixing our plumbing issues. We’ve had months of problems and even met with at least 5 different plumbing companies beforehand and none of them were able to really resolve anything. If you want the job done right, call these guys. Great service. Quality work. I highly recommend.

Great service from John P with the quote & purchase and Guy with the delivery & installation. John was very clear with the explanation of the water heater & install options they provide. A week following the initial quote, I went forward with the purchase & install. Guy provided excellent service regarding the installation Both men take pride in their quality of work & service. I would definitely recommend ARS as well as John & Guy for your water heater needs.
