Cuinn developed excellent proposals to compare HVAC alternatives, a Heat Pump/AC system vs. Gas Furnace/AC system including available incentives and rebates. Then Dean & Nick where the best installation technicians. They worked tirelessly over two days to complete the job ahead of schedule and as quoted. Fuse did it all and I could be happier!

I reached out to Fuse for the HVAC installation and electrical sub-panel replacement. I had a very good experience so far.

1. HVAC.
Got my gas heater replaced with a new Daikin Heat Pump (adding AC functionality) with all ducts and receptacles replaced with the asbestos removal. My HVAC installer Anton and his helper Serge were very professional. Anton explained and showed all the work that has been done and pointed out at the problems that he was fixing during the work (The house is old, so when you find a lot of surprises there). Anton patiently addressed all of my concerns as feature requests. We had to do a bit of extra work for which the price was also pretty reasonable after Anton explained the scope of changes. Upon completion, I had an additional concern which was not in the initial scope of work, for which Anton called me back to propose the solution for consideration. I am waiting for a quote from Fuse to set a multi-zoning.

Overall the installation cost seem to be pretty reasonable to me, given that Fuse takes care of permits, discussing concerns with HOA representatives (kudos to Theodor who came out couple times to the property for measurements and meeting with the HOA representatives), scheduling tests and inspections. The communication and outcomes are pretty clear. They also notify you that you can apply for rebates before the installation.

Pretty satisfied with the HVAC so far.

2. Subpanel.
I didn’t do much research on the price for this one, since I just bundled it with the HVAC which made most sense to me to have a single permit application.

I recently saw in our community that some company was willing to change the subpanel for the 60% of the Fuse’s cost. I don’t regret going with Fuse anyway. It is hard to get what is the fair price in this industry. Fuse’s quote seemed reasonable to me from what I heard from friends.

Organizational feedback:
I felt there was a bit of disconnect between the PM and the installers. We went through multiple rounds of discussions with Theodor, but when the installer team arrived they had a slightly outdated plans. Not an issue, but I’d suggest you just go over the plans with installer team when they arrive to be on the same page. I honestly thought that the PM would be there at the commission of the work, but maybe it is more of an async communication there.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend reaching out to Fuse for your projects!

The heat pump installation project was completed on time, in an extremely professionally and courteous manner by the Fuse team led by Dean and supported by the Customer Relations Manager, Cuinn.

I was in the market for replacing my 20 year old HVAC furnace and AC and was looking for a reliable local company to help with the upgrade to a Heat Pump. Roby came up with a competitive estimate while answering all my questions and encouraged me to look at all the rebate options. Install was scheduled and followed by plenty of reminders by text and phone call and the crew led by Oleg arrived on time and finished the job on time, while respecting my property and cleanliness. The system is only few days old so I can’t give much more feedback until I get the permit final approval and spend a season or two with it, but so far the workmanship looks solid. I would hire them again.

They did a wonderful job diagnosing my washing machine issue. They determined which parts were needed and had the parts overnighted. They received the parts around 6pm on a Saturday and came that night to install and get the washing machine working before we had to fly out the next morning. Great job, workmanship and being thorough and timely. Highly recommended. Very fair price.

Mario did a great job installing a heat pump water heater for me. It's a big job which took a day to finish, but it's professionally done. He also offered to replace my outdoor PRV and 2 faucets on weekend, which is a convenient time for me. Much appreciated!
