Rick, and his guys did the job right! After at least 4 years and 5 bids. Green leaf solar was the company we chose to use. Very knowledgeable, explained all the options for our unique needs. Our choice was a solar ark inverter, 24 panel 9.84 kWh system. With full 20 kWh battery backup. With PGE we have experienced multiple outages Monthly. Plus not to mention high energy cost. Bill went from $400 to zero.

Outstanding Experience with Green Leaf Solar & Electric
Working with Green Leaf Solar & Electric was an absolute game-changer for me. From start to finish, they put my mind at ease and took care of every concern I had. Rick has done two jobs for us.
First was several years ago when the main, 500 amp transformer at work blew up. He responded immediately to my cold call, located a replacement unit in Texas(!), got it shipped, did some system upgrades, and we were back in business.
Next was Fall 2020 installation of six 6Kw Infratech patio heaters and control/power distribution box. When the equipment arrived, he was in the midst of a big project someplace else, but deployed a two-person installation team finished the job in less than two days and the conduit workmanship is beautiful.

Good price but very poor after sales support. No response to emails or phone calls.

Very poor customer service. I have my system down for last 6 months and they haven’t been able to fix it. Every other week they schedule someone to fix it, either they don’t show up or if they do they have no idea what to do. Very frustrated with this company

This company is a mixed bag. Lots of engagement when selling the service and installing. Completely disappears when you need support.

So far Nadine Marcias and Paul Sherer never really help to get the warranty and monitor service. They completely stopped responding my email.

If there was a Zero start that would fit this bad company. I am trying to reach them from last 3-4 months, no reply from these people, calls directly go to voice mail, no reply back. My inverter has gone bad from last 4 months, and there is no support from this company.

After evaluating several companies I selected Slingshot power and am to do so. They have done very good professional job. Their price was lowest of all four I talked and best warranty

This place is horrible; we called to cancel and have been waiting for a month and there was no refund of our deposit. We called every day ask to get our money back. The people are fooling around, saying that the billing department would take care of that and kept us waiting! Omg, they blamed on each other and delays the process of refund! It has been more than a month now and there is no update on my refund of the deposit! I will personally sue this company for stealing $14,000 from us. I called my lawyer and Set up the lawsuit!

I contacted multiple solar companies and after all the consultations were complete, I chose Slingshot. Andy's quote came in lower than the other 3, while offering better panels. The entire project was completed in under a week. Their team was very polite and kept my yard clean. I highly recommend using them!

Got the solar installed with them and even 4 months still waiting for city permit. They were really quick to install and after that service nose dived. They make you run around for everything - for fixing broken roof tiles, fixing the hole they created in the stucco, city permit etc. Paul and Nadine keep punting things on each other and no response for weeks regarding text messages and calls.

WORST Customer Service: We had our system installed years ago, with no issues, but we changed internet providers in spring 2019. There was no notification at that time from Slingshot, and we have had no record of power generation since then. When I discovered this several months ago, I started calling, emailing, etc. Appointments were made, no one showed, no one called, no one rescheduled. Clearly I am not the only one with this issue - hoping that this will get a response as nothing else has worked. I want to be able to recommend this small, local company, but COVID or not, the lack of communication is just unacceptable.

I wish I had never gone with this company. Their customer service is extremely poor. Every time when I need any help, it takes me months to get their attention. They don't reply to text messages or emails, and they don't answer their phone calls either. It makes me believe that it is a scam company. I got very upset after I found out that they also misled me during the initial consultation. Slingshot sales rep convinced  me to pay $3500 to bring my interest rate down, which I later came to find out that it was a total lie after I spoke with my solar lender. Please do your own research before you decide to go with this company.

I would have rated them 4+ stars for initial sales, installation and overall pricing and Warantee that they claimed to provide. Once installation was complete I feel that rating has nose dived with the bad experience so far.

First they promised they will give referral fee right away a day after the installation. It has been 1 1/2 years and they have not paid and they keep pushing me off with lip service. I have sent multiple emails and called multiple times.

Second issue is one of my panel was not performing and it’s producing 33% less energy then others, I found the issue instead of them and reported it to them in March and till now I have to call and follow up but no action has been taken yet since 4+ months. Still waiting for help.

Update: Paul responded to my review (below) 1 month ago, saying he would follow up. Needless to say, I have not heard from him. This was just a ploy so that readers thing the company is responding.

Like many others here, I have been the victim of this company. Been trying to get warranty service on several bad panels for months but no phone call, text or e-mail ever gets a response. As things stand, about 20% of my installation produces no power at all and no one cares.

It should be a zero. Our solar has not worked since July 17. My husband had called Paul 10 times before he finally picked up. He said he had something to do and would call back. He never did. Same thing with friends of ours but he finally did talk to them. It turned out there was a part that was bad and under warranty so theirs got fixed. Worst company ever. We referred our neighbor and instead of giving us $500 as promised, they just constantly tell you they just put it in the mail. By that time we just wanted to be done with them. But now the faulty equipment and the lack of service! RUN from this company! Peace of mind is worth a little more!
