Today while shopping at Armstrongs SJC we; customers including staff were in masks and gloves (covid). We witnessed this male customer entering the nursery without a mask. One of the Armstrong staff members politely offered him a new boxed mask that they had at the entrance. This man adamantly stated; "I'm not wearing mask!! I'll take a mask but I'm NOT wearing a mask!!
We couldn't help by being so appalled at this rude and arrogant man! We felt bad for the employee being chastized by this jerk of a customer.
The clerk let him in.
It made me wonder why not post a sign out front of their entrance to customers stating;

"Due towards Covid 19, all customers are required to wear masks when entering for their safety and respectful consideration for our staff and other customers. For those not in agreement we reserve the right to refuse business to those individuals in allowing entry."

They have an okay selection. Spacious and clean inside.i just wish they had more variety for their indoor plants.

Love this place. Fun to just walk around and enjoy all the scenery. Staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable.

Good selection of plants and flowers but nothing exotic, pretty streamline.they had all the stuff I needed for my orchids.

Knowledgeable. Helpful. Bring them some leaves that look weird from your garden & they can diagnose & recommend a solution plus give you tips on implementing that solution so it most of effective solved your problem.

Great selection of plants! Staff is very friendly and helpful. The only con is they have no irrigation equipment.

Without question the "best" selection of pottery anywhere in SoCal, anywhere! Every shade of every color in plant pots can be found right here. 40 varieties of tomatoes, 12 varieties of daisies, and the two Italian Cypress trees we need at a better price than the home improvement stores!

Everyone was very helpful. We got a set for our patio and we couldn't be any happier. The place is huge! This is our new favorite Armstrong location. :-)
