I am trying to reach out to them for last 4 months to get the solar panel transferred to my name for a house I purchased. No one picks up the phone. Can someone please help me here.

I needed a rood repair after high winds blew the roof off my patio cover, also damaging some of my regular roof tiles. They were the 2nd company to estimate the job and seemed professional enough, so I went with them. The job was not a big job and they treated it as such, doing the work when they felt they had a little extra time, which at first I was OK with. The main issue with this whole process is the total lack of communication. the work was done in 2 stages, first the patio roof and then tiles of the regular roof. (note: they had no idea where to get the type of tiles on my roof, luckily I knew who did and put them in contact or who knows how long this would have taken.) They seem to think that no planning on the part of the homeowner is necessary. When they wanted to start the second stage of the repair they called and left a message late in the evening saying they would be out the next morning, as if I was at their disposal anytime. I called and cancelled that as I was not available the next day. Again I was told that it would be over a week before they could get back to me and a firm day was not set. They have no problem letting you know that your job is small and therefore less important than the big jobs. I spoke to the owner, Jason, several times about the lack of communication with me for which he apologized, but he never changed his actions, constantly NOT keeping me informed of what was going on. each time he apologized, but the same behavior persisted. The final straw was when I received "pre lien"paperwork via Fedex. I work at night and sleep during the day, a fact well known to Jason. even so they insisted on trying to contact me early in the day about the payment instead of trying late in the afternoon. Because the "couldn't contact me" They felt the need to file paperwork, instead of providing a little customer service and getting in touch with me when I'm awake. when I let Jason know how much I felt this action was unwarranted he started telling me about "standard practices" at his company. I told him that home owners aren't contractors and don't know about such things and a real attempt at contacting me would have precluded this action in the 1st place. As usual he apologized, which means nothing by now. The work was done professionally enough but I feel that they really don't care about roofing much, seems from the advertising, business cards, website and business practices that their main concern is solar. If you want a timely roof repair and good customer service, look elsewhere.

Excellent work. We did replacement windows, new attic insulation, and an attic solar fan. The whole crew did meticulous work - Kenny, Christa, Vlad, Tyler, Alex, Jose. I evaluated several contractors and am glad I selected RC.

A year ago we decided to get solar and went to 3 different companies (one of them is a company which advertises all over the place and I felt they were the worst), for quotes. I really liked the guys from RC Energy Solutions and picked them, they were just so much better to deal with than the other companies and were not pushy at all. Well, a year later we got a final elec. bill for one year and it is $358 for the WHOLE year!! That is what we were paying for a month. They were very professional with the installation and everything that went into it. We got our panel upgraded and are sooooo SUPER HAPPY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. I honestly feel that this was the best move for us.

As a retired contractor I rate RC Energy as one of the most professional firms I have worked with.
They are a long established local company and their bids were very cost competitive. No extras were necessary and their staff outstanding.
They have installed a new electrical panel, a new roof and a solar system. All work was completed expertly and on time.
The system was designed to generate 10,000 Kilowatt Hours per year to supply all our electricity needs. Their design was spot on and we reached this total two weeks before the end of our first year. We will enjoy a modest refund from our utility company. A marvelous feeling.

We used RC Energy to install solar panels 3 months ago. Justin was very professional, and responsive to multiple emails and phone calls. We interviewed 4 companies, and chose RC Energy for the following reasons: 1) Best financing package (18 month 0 down, 0 interest loan, and a 12 year 2.9% loan with no origination fee or prepayment penalty; 2) Provided best system for our disjointed roof (microinverter) while other larger companies tried to push Sunpower panels and I believe they had incentives to push them; 3) Diversified company that should stay in business if the solar panel industry takes a downturn after federal rebates end in 2016, or net metering rates change later this year; and 4) Provided 20 year warranty on both parts and labor.

Had a problem with my 10 year old Sunpower solar panel system. Justin was quickly able to explain to me how to fix myself. Wasn’t his system, wasn’t even a customer yet, but he helped. Trustworthy and honest.

Not only was Justin and his crew professional and extremely hard workers in replacing my roof, I was informed daily, either through emails and/or photos, of the work in progress. In addition to providing me with a solid and up-to-date roof, Justin advised and assisted me through the process of recovering monetary retribution of a former roofer that did a bad replacement roofing job on my home 3 years ago. With Justin's help, I was able to recover the amount that I paid for a bad roofing job from the former roofer. Without his assistance, I would have lost thousands of dollars for a lousy roofing job. Justin's experience, knowledge and integrity is invaluable.

RC Energy Solutions was a great choice for adding solar to our home in South Park. They were professional, communicated clearly and our contact, Justin, went above went above and beyond to make our project successful. The installation crew was polite and respectful of our home, and everything went as promised. We're two years out and could not be happier. I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism of this company not once but twice! I made a ton of calls when I found out that I had a roof problem, and Justin with RC Energy Solutions, was the only one that took the time to hear me out and to explain what steps could be taken to fix the problems. Justin was prompt in returning calls/emails, and made sure that there was someone at my house to address all my issues in a timely manner (on two different occasions). The problems I was having, ended up being pretty simple fixes, but I do know that the life of my roof is dwindling, and I know exactly who I will be calling when it's time to get a new one.

Justin & his crew did a great job with our solar installation. Had a minor hiccup with the wrong water heater but besides that we're seeing our energy costs be reduced every month. Justin and his team did an awesome job. I got a number of bids and decided to go with Justin because his company provided the overall best solution for our needs at a very competitive price. Originally was just looking to get solar but knowing that my AC and furnace were old and inefficient discussed that concern with Justin. Our home also had very poor insulation so in the end we did our solar, new AC and furnace as well as additional insulation in our attic. The job could not have gone any smoother and I highly recommend this company.
