They quickly identified and fixed a water leak in my freezer caused by a clogged defrost drain and excessive condensation inside the unit. From start to finish, Alex was a pro—getting the job done well and ensuring everything was clean and working perfectly before he left. My home is now more comfortable, the freezer leak is gone, and I’m already seeing energy savings from the new system.

Our GE Monogram side by side fridge suddenly stopped working on a Friday, searched online and was able to get an appointment on Saturday. Our tech was Kevin, he arrived on time and diagnosed the issue right away. Replaced a faulty main board and got the fridge working right away. Talked us through the process the whole way. Kevin was awesome and very professional

We love Chill :) They replaced our furnace and AC unit. Came in on time and spent about 9hrs on installation and fixed a ducting issue. They had to use a crane since our AC is on the roof. It was exciting to watch.
We have also used them in the past to fix our Viking fridge and they really saved our butts since we had no idea how to take care of a commercial fridge (from previous owner).

My viking built in fridge has had the freeze issue for some time. I'm so glad that Same from Chill company get it fully fixed without any issues. Sam came to examine our fridge a few days ago and understood the situation before ordering the parts and scheduling the fix for me. On the day of fix, he was very patient and helped me understand a lot of details of the fridge so I can be equipped to understand the problems myself.

Slavs did a great job installing our AC carrier at our house! He made sure the coils and everything were not hanging down. I recommend getting your HVAC done by them. Very professional and gets the job done! I will use them again!

My 5 year old Kenmore side by side refrigerator/freezer started acting up. The freezer side wouldn’t stay cold and eventually both sides warmed. I called Chill HVAC and Refrigeration at 8 am when they opened and Jack was at my door by 9:11 am! Jack quickly determined that my compressor had failed. Took great time to explain the issue and no pressure to sell the repair. Said he had the part and was back in three hours to replace the compressor. Gave me what I felt was a fair quote. Very respectful of my home and friendly/kind service. Very knowledgeable and I’d recommend if you need refrigeration service/repairs.

Igor was amazing! He found the problem with our HVAC quickly and fixed it for a very good price. He gave me information on how to get the unit to last as long as possible as it’s very old. Most companies would’ve told me I needed to replace it. He bought me a little more time before the expense of replacing the whole thing. I will definitely call him when we need it replaced. They’re also a family owned business which I love since my husband and I are also small business owners. 😊😊

Jack from Chill HVAC exceeded all expectations! He arrived promptly at the beginning of the scheduled window, quickly diagnosed the issue with our AC, and had it fixed in just 10 minutes. He went above and beyond, staying to ensure the unit was consistently cooling to 59 degrees or lower. Jack even replaced our filters at no extra cost, all while being incredibly friendly and genuine throughout. He was transparent with pricing, quoting everything up front with no surprises, and we paid exactly what he quoted. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Jack and Chill HVAC again for any future HVAC or appliance needs—absolutely top-notch service!

My air conditioner stopped working this morning during one of the hottest days. I called Chill and technician was at my door in 20 minutes. He replaced the part outside, and replaced my dirty filter for a reasonable price. Thank you for keeping our home chill!

We had a sudden AC problem on very hot day. Andy from Chill heating came promptly to resolve the issue. He worked patiently and methodically to root the cause and then quickly resolved it.

We had an issue with our upstairs AC not cooling one side of the rooms and Chill HVAC came out same day. After a couple of hours to assess the issue, then found out the root cause was a malfunctioning damper and a hole in the duct that was likely caused by poor initial installation. Came back the next day to fix it and now it runs like new. Thanks Igor!

I highly recommend Chill Heating & Cooling. I worked with Jack and Slava and I felt these guys were extremely knowledgeable and professional from the initial visit for the estimate through completion. I received 8 separate estimates with a wide range of prices. This company, most definitely provides competitive pricing and professional and detailed estimates.

The scope of work was an entire new forced air system for both heating and cooling at my Castro Valley home. I was provided several options in the estimate and ended up going with the American standard equipment. It was also nice reviewing the separate options with Jack to find what option worked best for me. I plan on hiring chill again for future projects.

Last late summer, the air conditioner at our restaurant stopped working, so we called Chill HVAC for service. The technician went up to the rooftop, checked the unit, and got it running again within 10 to 15 minutes. He also told us the filter was too old and needed replacement, which he came back to do the next day. We were charged $665, but since the AC started working again, we didn’t see it as a big issue at the time.

We only used the AC a few more times before the winter season came. Then last month, as the weather got warm again, we tried turning it on—but it didn’t work. Knowing we had just had it serviced the previous year, I went up myself to check the unit and was shocked by what I found. Several wires inside were melted together and blackened with burn marks. It was clear that the damage had not occurred recently, but had existed long before last summer’s service.

We hired a different HVAC company, and they told us that all Chill HVAC had done was press the circuit breaker button to reset the system. Since the unit turned back on, they didn’t bother checking or addressing the serious underlying issue with the burned and melted wires.

I feel completely deceived by Chill HVAC. In my opinion, they were negligent and failed to perform proper service. If you're considering using them—especially if your AC unit is old—I strongly recommend that you stay with them and watch what they do very carefully.

The water dispenser in my refrigerator stopped working. Alex from Heating and Cooling was able to diagnose the issue from the very first visit, ordered the necessary parts, and then later corrected the problem. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. Very satisfied with pricing and services provided. Will definitely use the company again if something else comes up.

Very honest and fair. I called about service on my washing machine and the technician quickly informed me the machine needs to be replaced. The technician voluntarily waived the diagnostic/visit fee. This company will definitely be my 1st call for future appliance services.

I had a wonderful experience! The guy came out took a look noticed my A/C unit needed to be replaced indoors and outdoors due to the condition and it not working. He arrived on time, only took a couple of hours For him to replace indoors and outdoors. Very respectful and very professional.
