Used them numerous times and always found them smart and responsive capable of solving complicated problems. MJ

I called office 3 times within the same hour and there was no one there to answer the phones. Business must be great that you cannot have someone in the office or afford an answering machine. I'm moving on!!

If we could give them zero points, we would. The owner Bill Child does not respond to customers’ needs.
Customer service is non existent. Find anyone else to fix your appliances! -
Bulb in oven burnt out. It took them 3 tries to fix including dismantling the stove twice. They order wrong bulb.
Lasted 6 months burnt again. No answers phone, when get somebody they say owner will call back-right -
Well, this is the third time I have had to deal with The Appliance Store, and for me, it is the cake topper. Had (past tense note) a Bosch Dishwasher that had issues, and a home warranty with First American Home Warranty, a whole separate 1-star review that could be called 'barely fix as cheaply as possible". But, back to the dishwasher. First trip out many moons ago resulted in a repair that lasted one day. Well, not even. But, we just hand washed dishes and let it sit forever. Finally, wife said, just fix it. Went through two more rounds of botched fixes, called again and this time hung around for repair. The old guy crawled around and made comments like 'I have never seen anything like this" which prompted me to say "then if it costs more to fix than replace, call it a loss."
And they did. I went out and bought a new machine, having just enough from the Home Warranty to buy a scratch and dent refurbished machine. But, The Appliance Store called and said "Hey, we actually have a need for some parts from that machine for another client, can we have it?" Being recycling type I said, 'Sure, just uninstall it and take away". The old guy said "Oh, the boss wont like that if I have to spend the six minutes uninstalling it" So I said, OK, here's the deal. I will take it out, you can come pick it up and take it away for all the parts you want. It will be at base of driveway." To which he says, not thank you, but, "um, well I will see when I can get there.
Fast forward two days, I come out to find a disassembled dishwasher strewn across the driveway, left there. So apparently my driveway is now The Appliance Store's new parts, assembly and trash facility. GUYS..THAT IS AS LAZY AND RUDE AS CAN BE. On a side note, my experiences with you and German appliances has been "schrecklich" (you can google it). I don;t think you all have a clue. You have been batting zero on Bosch and took three tries to fix my subzero.
So, if you have a choice, DO NOT USE THE APPLIANCE STORE. You have been warned. -
This company has the worst customer service. The woman who does the scheduling is not helpful and does not facilitate any help to get questions answered in a timely manner. She comes across as rude and it appears she does not understand the policies or guarantees on their work or the products they install. The technician Doug has always been nice and helpful but as a whole this company's wheels are falling off in my opinion and they need to revamp their customer service especially considering how expensive they are. I could go into further details about my experience but the whole situation has already wasted to much of my time and money. I will no longer be using this company for any of our properties and I suggest you don't as well.

Another customer experiencing horrendous customer service. American Home Shield scheduled their technician to come out and look at our appliances. After that I had to call week after week just to hear reasons like "Bill isn't here right now I will call you back tomorrow morning" (no call) or "Bill doesn't have the model number anymore, can you provide it again" or "The person ordering the parts isn't here right now and she is the only one looking up the status. She will call you back" (no call).
I don't understand how this place can stay in business. They probably bill American Home Shield for the hours they spend making up excuses. I wish AHS would allow me to switch to a different repair service. -
Worst customer service I've ever had. My oven's manufacturer contacted them to do a repair. They showed up to assess the problem then left saying they needed to order some parts. I haven't heard from them in over 3 weeks so I called back and they said the job was closed as they fixed the problem. After calling the manufacturer again they were able to get them the part and they came over to do the installation. The repair man stripped all the screws he needed to remove in order to replace the part so he left saying he needed to order more part. After 3 weeks of radio silence I contacted the manufacturer again to mediate this situation and they said (again) the job was closed as done. So it's been over 3 months now and I still have an range oven and burners that don't ignite. It's been such an incredibly frustrating experience and would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

It has been over a month since I first contacted The Appliance Store, but my oven is still not fixed. They canceled and rescheduled 2 appointments and a third appointment was a no-show. Communication between the receptionist and the technicians is poor and between the receptionist and the customer is even worse. I have never dealt with the store that had worse customer service.

If Sub Zero knew how these people treat their customers, they would not allow them to use their name on their ads. It's a shame that this is only company in SB that is supposed to be able to service Sub Zero's. I recommend that customers go directly to Sub Zero and get the service they need.

There are several horrible reviews and let me add one more. In addition to being dishonest and unreliable they are incompetent. I paid them in advance before Christmas and they promised to return before New Year’s Eve to fix my Dacor tower fridge. It is now March and after three months and dozens of calls, multiple broken promises the fridge is not fixed and I am starting from scratch. DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE

My mom has used this business countless times and has had awful experiences each time but, unfortunately, this is the only outfit that handles Viking appliances. The oven was never really fixed nor was the refrigerator (both Vikings). We had to finally change out both to other brands. Lori was of no help. She billed my mom 3 months after the fact and the bill was incorrect as my mom had already made a down payment. She called her and finally got the corrected amount. However, just recently she contacted my mom and insinuated that the bill was not paid when it had been paid in full. She asked my mom for the check number (this info she should already have). I contacted the bank and was told yes, the check, in fact, was cashed by them in September 2024. I called and left them a message to the fact. I tried calling again to tell them that I did not appreciate the abhorrent treatment of my mother but their phone was out of service. Go figure. I guess they couldn’t pay their phone bill!!!!
