Our family contracted Avant Electric for a complete home re-wire. This was prompted by the purchase of an electric vehicle and the need for a residential fast charging station. We trusted the founder's suggestion to do this in two stages: Move the panel and get all 220v services up and operating. The 1st step of the process included a complete move of the PGE-drop from the pole to our new panel on the opposite side of our home. This produced an unobstructed sunset view as the wire from the pole traversed the entire yard.

Phase two was a complete rewire and upgrade of every outlet in the home. We finalized the switch from 110v wiring from original 1950's panel to the new sub-panel/breaker box in our garage. We love the updated GFI outlets and a few that include USB charging ports (Two in kitchen and four in bedrooms). We also added a new bathroom outlet to provide power to a new bidet.

My Avant Electric crew was great. No issues with working around two Covid puppies and an aging parent w/ dementia. I would (and have) recommend Avant Electric for anyone seeking residential electrical services that are completed with exceptional quality and care.

Brian and Eric are very good. They know what they're doing, and are easy to get along with. Our project finished 3 days late but, for an initial estimate of 4 weeks, that's quite impressive. One heads-up is their preference to work later in the day, contrary to my previous stereotype of the early-to-rise contractor. Brian manages projects well: he uses contracts and online billing, and is very reasonable when resolving issues or changes to the plan. Overall, I'm happy to recommend them.

Avant Electric, Inc. was my chosen electrical contractor for replacement of my aging home electrical panel. The original
electrical panel was installed with the building of my home back in the 1960's. It had finally worn out and needed
replacement.
I did my due diligence and requested three quotes from contractors in my area, checked their status with the State

Avant Electric Co. rescued me from a scam local electrical contractor by helping me reinstall the new 100 Amp house electrical panel to meet San Jose city codes and permits. The panel was previously installed by the scammer that left many important things undone including not pulling the permits as agreed upon.

Avant Electric did not take advantage of my situation and did not try to make my problems look bigger than they were, unlike three other contractors that I got new quotes from. Brian, the owner and Eric, a dedicated, reliable coworker, did all they promised. Eric often stayed late to make sure the goal for the day was completed. They helped with the permits and inspection. The project passed without a hitch. Above all their cost was fair and reasonable. I easily give them 5+++ rating and highly recommend them.
