About the business:

Able Glass began in 1955 as Curran Glass, founded by the Curran family. In 1969, Bob Holder purchased the business and renamed it Able Glass, setting the stage for a multi‑generation family enterprise.
Early Years and Apprenticeship
From childhood, Eric Holder was immersed in the shop. He learned to cut glass at age eight and was regularly helping with projects by age twelve. After school and on Saturdays he built screens and worked on glass jobs, gaining hands‑on skills and a strong work ethic taught by his father.
Taking the Reins
At 21, Eric was offered the chance to buy the company. He signed a five‑year purchase agreement and, through determination and hard work, paid it off in two years. That early commitment to the business and to doing the job right shaped the company’s culture and standards.
Growth and Leadership

Under Eric’s leadership, Able Glass expanded from a small neighborhood shop into a team of more than twenty‑five dedicated professionals.
