I hired GCA Contractors to pave my 770 sf. driveway and I was very happy with the results from Mike and the team.
The project, which took five days from start to finish, involved demoing the old driveway, removing a 300 lbs partial exposed boulder laying 4" concrete with crushed stone and rebar, all while carefully navigating large tree roots to ensure the integrity of our 80 year old tree. Jose, the onsite foreman demonstrated his extensive knowledge and attention to detail, grading the walkway for proper water runoff and identifying when a step would be better than a steep downhill slope.
Communication was excellent throughout the project. Mike kept me informed daily, either by stopping by, texting, or calling, showing his close involvement and oversight. Mike was always aware of Jose's suggestions on site and the work being done.
The team is always quick to offer multiple solutions to any unforeseen issues, explaining potential costs, and informing me about long-term versus short-term outcomes.

We had some raised concrete from tree roots that had to be removed and re-poured. They came out and quickly fixed the problems so that people would not trip. We called on a Tuesday and the repair was completed by Friday. Mike was very pleasant and accommodating to our schedule. I give him very high marks!
