Crummy work, really terrible, sloppy work
Do yourself a favor and hire anybody but Cardinal.

Cardinal has very inconsiderate workers, caused unnecessary problems for me and neighbors. I would recommend a different company after the way they showed such rudeness. They are not worth the problems they caused.

I called Mel (she answered the phone & was the first out of 8 calls I made to have a real person answer), & she was very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Even after finding out in the first 30 seconds that she was likely not gonna get any business from me as I was just calling to ask a couple quick questions. Mel is the owner of Cardinal Construction. I wanted to leave her a good review because it seems to me, that any business man or woman that will take any amount of time to help someone they know won’t result in any new business, deserves a 5 star review.

We've used Cardinal for several projects on our townhouse over the years (kitchen/bath/laundry room remodels, hardwood refinishing, deck repair/replacement) and have always been very satisfied with their qulaity work, customer service, recommendations, and fair pricing. High marks from our family.

The people at Cardinal Construction are very professional, and polite. If you have questions they are more than happy to explane what they are doing . I have had them replace 4 skylights, build a new stairs to to my home, do some floor repairs, and a door installation. I highly recommend this company its hard to find reliable carpenters.

Melanie and the team at Cardinal are exceptionally professional, hardworking, and skilled. They bathroom and kitchen remodel for my clients ended up looking exquisite. The project was done on time and on budget too. If you want professional results, this is the team you want.

Cardinal built out our unfinished basement space into a home office and music room. Scope included wall furring, acoustical treatments, gypsum, texture, paint, flooring, trim/base and built in butcher block counter atop lower cabinets. I was very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work and functionality of the space. Will definitely be using Mel's team again in the future!

Cardinal construction is great. Mel and her team were professional and did an amazing job on our project.We just renovated our two bathrooms. We had John working on them and they did great work and had a great attitude. I would definitely use them again for future projects.

They did several important construction jobs at my house, and at my daughter's house, and they were all completed in a timely and very professional fashion.
Cardinal dealt with the repairs from a major ceiling water pipe leak I had in my downstairs. This involved ceiling replacement; wall repairs; refinishing floors; painting, subcontracting of the refinishing of all wooden floors in downstairs. This project was done with excellence and care [and this was during Covid!].
Cardinal also replaced the outside wooden deck of my daughter's house, which turned out very well.
Cardinal Construction employee workers were always on time, careful, polite, clean. There was very good supervision of the workers by Mel Dion.
Their work is excellent and the prices are comparable.

Cardinal did our remodel during the height of COVID when nearly everything was shut down. While the schedule did suffer, the work went on and the finished product was just what we hoped for. She and her crew were seasoned pros and handled all the normal bumps and curves in a project like this with ease - and with a smile. A pleasure to work with and I would recommend them for any project.

So great to work with. Discussed what was needed, and was given what turned out to be a very accurate estimate. (lower than some others I got as well). Work was done well, clean, quick and I love how the new deck looks. I never had to step foot at the project. The rickety old deck removed and a new one installed. Thanks Mel and her Cardinals.

They provided valuable help in determining the feasibility of an ADU. They were very helpful and answered all my questions with no problems.

Cypress did a remodel of our home. Now after 18 months we are fining problems with the new flooring in the bathroom. Air gaps under the flooring causing the caulking along the new shower to start cracking causing concern about water getting under the flooring. Also, a few of the 7 doors are not level and tend to close themselves. Cleanup, the were staines in the driveway where they prepared the sheet rock. Finally had the drivr re-coated. There were many different workrs on our job making it difficult to have a conversation about any specific item.
Will not recommend this company.

We choose Extraordinary Construction to remodel our upstairs master bathroom and could not be happier with the final result. I had a very specific design for the space and their team listened, offered options but always made sure I was happy with the decisions made. All members of the team were true craftsmen and every part of our bathroom fits together perfectly. In addition, Extraordinary Construction’s team members were polite and courteous and left our property clean and unscathed. I recommend them for any remodeling project you have. You won’t be
disappointed!

We have been searching for someone we trust to help with a variety of complicated projects of both a structural and cosmetic nature. The owner took a lot of time to go through the projects and is straight forward. Others would give a low bid and take short cuts to stay within that number. This company wants to do things right so they are honest about variables that could affect the price. We have had one project completed and it went so well that another professional I had over doing other work commented on how good of a job the workers were doing.
