Terra Verde came and trimmed the trees at my church, they did an amazing job, extremely friendly, with a heart to serve our community. I highly recommend using them for your tree service needs.

Oscar from Terra Verde is awesome! He is proffesional and courteous and knowledgeable about trees. The quote was detailed and a great value. The job was difficult with tall palms but the men were experienced with climbing ropes/equipment etc. making it look easy. They cleaned up and hauled away the mess leaving it cleaner than before. I will definately call him again the next time we need pruning!

Had Oscar trim 4 Olive Trees at our Church property, that had not been trimmed in quite awhile. He did an outstanding job. Very professional and went straight to work till the job was done. I highly recommend Terra Verde tree service and will use them again@

These guys are clueless and lazy. They trim bushes and then instead of picking it up they just blow it under the Bushes. Mowing grass in the rain...

In October 2021, the entire bay area experienced a rainstorm so powerful, they called it a "bomb cyclone." At the peak of the storm, I received a call from our new tenant. Water was accumulating in the landscaping and threatening to spill over into our brand new building. Lucky for us, Doug headed over at 5pm on a Sunday night. In the pouring rain, he was able to find and unclog a key drain. Within minutes, the water receded. The tenant was very thankful, which encouraged me to write this review. I guess you never know who can rely on until an emergency comes along.

Rude drivers in massive vehicles , they never look where they’re going.
They blow through a culdesac chronically near where I have to park to work and they’re incredibly unsafe, not to mention the absolute hypocrisy of them when their older male Forman or manager type staff are outside and I’ve driven past feathering first gear going under 5 mph and they’ve attempted to yell at me multiple times, I can’t even go slower than I go and they don’t own the parking lot.

Sending workers to do leaf blowing at 3:30am in a residential neighborhood is not only slave labor but against city and county noise ordinances. Yup, this is after I asked them nicely multiple times to adhere to appropriate hours of operation. A few weeks ago I had to call the cops when we had the 3:30am leaf blower wake up call. Guess we will have to report them again and keep calling the cops. True North has demonstrated they have no respect for people who live in the community so how can they possibly care about customers, their employees, or their reputation.

In October of 2023 True North was tasked with major tree work at Solar Park Condos in Cloverdale CA. The pruning that was done was completely opposite of what was expected from such a large established company. One tree in particular in a private residence was cut so hard on one side it had to be professionally repaired by another company to ensure even regrowth. True North also left debris in multiple units and dead pruned branches in other trees that were worked on. This is a very unfortunate circumstance for the Complex, and was not handled well. As a 20 year industry professional, and established Cloverdale community member I can not recommend this company.

I had two large planter boxes made of wood, which had rotted out. I wanted to replace them with concrete masonry. I discovered Mr. Castillo's company when I was walking my dog in the neighborhood. One of my neighbors was having brick wall built. The workmanship was great, so asked a workman for a business card and called Mr. Castillo. He understood what I wanted done, and gave me a reasonable price for the job, less than I expected to pay. The workmanship is impressive. The guy who built the boxes, Samuel, did a masterful job. I'm totally satisfied with how things turned out. Highly recommended.

This company is not a landscape company. They simply collect your information and immediately distribute it to others.

I called believing I would speak with someone who could assist me with a landscaping project in Sonoma, California. The woman told me the company provides such services, took my information and told me she would connect me with her "partner" who could assist with the specifics. I have now been bombarded with solicitation calls from "landscapers" all over the State. One gentleman called me from over 600 miles away in response to my request for weekly landscape maintenance services.

If you are looking to have your phone number, email and project address disseminated to multiple unknow people, you should definitely use Chop Chop Landscaping. If you are looking for landscape services, you might want to look elsewhere.
