Came out and quoted $2800.
We told her no and she said she has to charge $200 for coming to quote.
I told her leave now and she said she would post us all over social media.
She does not do free quotes like her site mentions and saying she will post us all over social media since she came out to quote for 5 minutes is wild.
You also have to tell people you are charging a fee for consultation if you choose to do so before hand!! -

I am deeply skeptical of the trustworthiness of this business’s online reputation. My own reviews were repeatedly removed, and I have watched other negative reviews with similar complaints disappear as well. At the same time, the review profile remains unusually polished despite service that, in my experience, was seriously substandard. Readers can draw their own conclusions from that pattern.
Before hiring this company, I would strongly encourage potential customers to compare this review profile with the company’s ratings and complaints on other less curated platforms and make up their own minds.
This review reflects my direct experience with the owner. My complaint is fundamentally about ethics, accountability, and reliability. When I say Sweet Clean was unprofessional, I mean specifically that they were unreliable, evasive, and unwilling to take responsibility for poor work.
How this business responds to criticism also matters. In response to my earlier reviews, the owner did not simply dispute my account. She responded with false and defamatory accusations about me and my partner, including claims of “inappropriate behavior” that had no basis in fact and were clearly intended to discredit us rather than address the quality of the work.
As to the actual service:
She arrived roughly two hours late and, after missing the scheduled time, took more than 45 minutes to respond to messages asking where she was.
I was quoted $350 for a deep clean of all surfaces in a 432 sq. ft. studio, plus cleaning supplies over $20. Less than half of the unit was cleaned. Many surfaces were untouched, including surfaces we were later told had been cleaned.
The owner now claims that “all supplies and their costs were communicated” the day before service. That is materially false. This was a same-day booking. The only prior discussion was that I would pay for cleaning supplies over $20. What we were ultimately billed for was far beyond any reasonable understanding of that phrase: more than $75, including non-consumables such as a mop, gloves, rags, and sponges.
She represented that she had lighting sufficient to work after dark. In reality, she was cleaning by the light of her cell phone. Because the job was started near sunset and finished in the dark, there was no practical way to inspect the work when payment was made. Her later claim that we inspected it, confirmed satisfaction, and said the place had “never looked that clean before” is false. The next morning, in daylight, it was obvious that much of the studio had not been cleaned at all. On the advice of an attorney, I stopped payment on the check and later offered to pay a reduced but still generous amount for the limited work actually performed. That offer was rejected.
She spent a large amount of time on our wood floor while lecturing us about how we had supposedly failed to maintain it. The product she used on that floor specifically states that it is not to be used on Danish oil finishes. Our floor had a Danish oil finish. It was damaged and had to be resealed afterward at additional cost.
The owner now also refers to rodent droppings and PPE as though that explained the incomplete work. That was never raised at the time of service. If it had been, it could have been discussed then. It was not.
Although we had not agreed to an hourly arrangement, the amount of work performed compared with the quoted price worked out to an absurd effective rate for a job that was never completed. She spent under three hours there, left a large portion of the studio uncleaned, and then expected full payment for a “deep clean” that clearly had not been delivered.
My experience with Sweet Clean was lateness, poor communication, inflated extra charges, incomplete work, false statements, and damage to our floor. Based on that experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere.
