Amazing contractors and office staff. Went above and beyond to finish my reconstruction after a flood. I highly recommend.

I was referred to Blue Line by State Farm. I waited for 2 weeks to schedule an appt for a quote. I wasted 2 hours for Dale to view the damage on January 14. I was advised it would be 2 weeks to obtain a quote. I never received a quote. I contacted Dale the 2nd week of February, he advised he would look and call me back. Dale did not call back. I contacted Dale again, Feb 23, Dale apparently lost all the data and cannot provide a quote. Needless to say I have no idea of the quality of his work, but his up front work was sloppy and negligent. I have advised State Farm as they should not be recommending nonprofessionals.

Blue Line Builders were amazing in helping us renovate after two incidents of water damage. In both cases, they were very responsive and provided amazingly detailed estimates that were acceptable to our insurance company. And the prices were quite reasonable.

At the same time, Blue Line Builders provided excellent quality work. Kevin, the designer/project manager helped me choose tiles, paint colors, cabinets, handles, faucets, etc. He studied current trends to make our house super marketable. As a result, we sold the house promptly with no issues. Thank you so very much!

Had a positive meeting with owner Dan on Oct 29 for over an hour, fully described what we were looking for, definitely not an ordinary remodel and would require some custom carpentry to match existing. Dale seemed to understand what we were looking for, and said we would start by demo of some drywall to see what was inside.

We'd had that wall open before and we told him what he would find but were okay with this being the first step. In the contract, it did state: "This estimate is for exploratory work only. To inspect the wall for structural, wiring and any plumbing in the wall. This estimate in no way is a guarantee that we will repair or continue with the proposed remodel of Plan B. This estimate is for demo only. Blue Line Builders may elect not to proceed with Plan B due to structural issues's." We went ahead and paid for the demo that we had already marked out on the wall and frankly could have easily done ourselves.

The young man that did the work was very polite and tidy. He took a bunch of pics while he was here. Waited 2 weeks, emailed Blueline twice to find out about next steps. Dan eventually replied he would need to "re-inspect what was opened up and see if this project would be something I would want to get involved in." I was concerned when I read this because I knew nothing was discovered structurally to have them decide not to perform this work--why start if you never intended to continue without justification? Why waste each others' time?

Dan came out 20 Nov, was here less than 5 min, said he needed his worker to come out and remove more insulation in the ceiling to get a good idea of the load bearing wall. So the same young man came out again, and removed a good chunk of my insulation to make the attic area visible. And thats it. Haven't heard from them since. I have a 4.5ftX7ft hole in my entry and am now looking for another contractor. I don't know why they started if this did not seem to be the kind of job that fit their schedule/kind of remodel. They learned nothing from tearing open the drywall that would have led them to decide not to continue to work with us. I wish they would have just said no, not interested.

UPDATE: After this review, Dale contacted me and said this was not the experience he wanted me to have, and offered to come back free of charge to patch the hole. I declined but told him I appreciated the offer. I asked him to be more frank about work that may not be their bailiwick in the future, and we parted on good terms.

I was highly impressed by Andre's professionalism, reliability and customer service and am already planning future projects with the company.

FIVE STARS! We had a pike leak in our kitchen pantry and needed repairs. A friend highly recommended Andre Wolford and his AMW Team. We obtained quotes from three firms, and when Andre and Tim showed up, we immediately felt comfortable and confident that they would do a good job. They did a SPLENDID job! They kept us apprised through the process....showed up on time...were concientuous as my wife works at home some days...and even got along with our doggie Gidget. AMW and Daniel Medina were punctual, professional, and did quality work. Our one bedroom condo was flooded from an upstairs dishwasher and there was drywall repair, painting and carpet repair and cleaning. We’re currently in a multi-phase renovation of our home and after consulting with various general contractors, Andre and AMW General became the obvious choice. Organized, easy to understand proposals were the first step that were followed up by a delivery of high level craftsmanship quality in work completed.

One of my favorite qualities about Andre is that he provides options and makes sure the team and the owners are in full communication throughout the process. He lets you know when something is essential and when something can be substituted for something viable but maybe less expensive. This is why in a world of contracting and construction, Andre delivers peace of mind.

We just completed phase one of the renovations and I’m looking forward to having AMW complete the process on our mid-century home. We’re grateful to have found him and can’t recommend him enough. More pictures to follow as we complete the process.

On behalf of me and my grandmother there couldn't be more great things we could say about Andre and his team. He is a man of his word, trustworthy and a great communicator. His team has exceeded all expectations. When my grandmothers house burnt down from a fire we were recommended to Andre. Throughout the entire process he was excellent. He was sensitive to the loss of many items and helped navigate and keep our mind at peace through a highly emotional process for my grandma. We ended up contacting him again a few years later because we noticed some flooring that needed to be looked at. Not only did he respond right away but he got his team team out there and fixed it ASAP with no cost to my grandma. We couldn't recommend Andre and his team more!

We had AMW General remodel our kitchen. Our home is old and required alot of work to get us what we wanted. Both Andre and Daniel were kind, considerate, knowledgeable and always available to talk. These guys know what their doing, everyone of their employees are extremely kind and polite. Everyday that we came home it was clean and all debris removed from our property. Daniel Medina and team did great quality work. They were referred to us by our insurance company when we found a pin hole leak on our attic on our plumbing lines. They did the kitchen cabinets fully, did the painting , fixed the dry walls. Love thir work and will highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for high quality work done on their home.
