We had a great experience with Straight Shooter. We purchased an old home with an old heating and cooling system. Straight shooter provided three quotes that allowed us to choose the extent of work we wanted to do, while still addressing every essential issue. Our technician, Nick, was friendly and knowledgeable. Our heater is working great and I feel confident knowing our air is cleaner. AND he cleaned up so you couldn’t even tell he was here after. This past week, our company faced a major challenge while on the road. We had one of our event trucks travel from Austin, Texas to California for a series of events, and the AC unit in our mobile showroom—critical to our presentations—unexpectedly went out. We were in a tough spot, unsure if we’d be able to find anyone capable of working on a specialized setup like this.

Aaron responded quickly and was on-site the very next day. He helped us coordinate and install a new heat pump and mini-split system directly onto the truck. This was no easy job, and the level of professionalism, expertise, and honesty he and the Straight Shooters team brought to the table was outstanding.

Thanks to their hard work and dedication, we were able to stay on schedule and complete all our events here in California. I can’t recommend Straight Shooters Heating and Cooling highly enough—they truly saved us.

After another company didn't show up in their promised window, I called Straight Shooter Heating and Cooling. Their customer service was great and shockingly were able to get someone out on the same day. Jordan P arrived, was polite, covered his shoes and assessed our system and concerns. Our AC is up and running again and based on our experience with Jordan, we'd love to continue to do business and maintain our HVAC with him and his team.

Straight Shooter Heating & Cooling came out to my house and the technician provided amazing service. My unit wasn’t working, and with a small baby in the house I was really worried we wouldn’t be able to get it fixed quickly.
Thankfully, the Straight Shooter team was able to do a same-day repair and truly saved the day. The technician was professional, efficient, and got everything working again fast.

In addition to an absolutely wonderful job, they were professional, efficient, and answered all my questions. A delight to work with. I love my new split unit. It looks so good. I had an issue with my water heater. Left them a voicemail. The owner called me back within 1 hour and explained to me all my options. I explained to him all the different steps that I took to troubleshoot my water heater. He sent me one of his worker to check and confirmEd my findings. I just need to replace one part. He was honest and did lie or even push me to purchase a brand new water heater. Nowadays it is pretty rare to find an honest person. If you have any issue give them a call

Fantastic service! Responsive, quick, professional, communicative and kind. My water heater sprung a leak and Douglas replaced it and had my hot water up and running again promptly. I highly recommend!

Didn’t have any plumbing work done by them but homeowners watch your vehicles around their drivers. A employee in the box van like the one on their website rear ended me on the 94 west at Spring St and kept on driving! Almost rear ended the next vehicle after I pulled off. Fortunately, no damage to my vehicle but the front bumper of their van looked damaged. Maybe they had a plumbing emergency to get to.

The after hours emergency line never responded. I waited from 11pm to 8am the next morning with water coming from my wall. Because they must only service one complex, my property manager said all those calls and texts went to her. What kind of business is this? Left a hole in my wall and still over a week later nobody has communicated with me to fix it. (First review gave 1 star, if I could have given 0, I would have)

After my last review I was contacted to fix the wall, the next day.
Tony came that afternoon and completed (drywall installation and painting) in just a few hours, in the span of 2 days, due to my schedule. He was courteous and quick. Did a great job fixing the wall and painting and it doesn't even look like I had a hole at all.

I was asked to take my first review down by my property manager, but I am keeping it up and will only edit.

For that I will add 3 stars.(for the work done)

Still not impressed with the after hours emergency line, so hopefully that can be updated or fixed. If it was not for that, I would give a different review.

We needed a new water heater installed but it wasn't an emergency situation. John responded to my text in less than 60 seconds and quoted me less than half the price of the big name plumbing company. The next week we had a brand new water heater installed and everything is working perfectly. Thank you John and your team for providing excellent customer service!

Ray did a great job for one good fix instead of small repeatedly repairs. He will offer a 3 years warranty for his jobs.
