Edy and his crew with Vema were great. They trimmed a big tree and removed lots of large heavy branches (and smaller ones) that had fallen around the property. They cleaned up the work areas nicely after the job was finished. They were punctual, courteous, and efficient. Anthany was our original point of contact and he was knowledgeable, practical and thoughtful during the job assessment process.

Santiago and his crew helped me thin and clean out a bunch of Bay trees as well as pruning my live oak. They did a very professional and careful removal of trees and limbs. I would happily hire them again.

We call on Edgar and his crew for every need! Extremely fair pricing, fast and efficient consults, quick to get us on their schedule. They arrive with a big team and get the job done quickly and with such care. I was concerned I was asking them to trim back a tree that was too tall but they have all the appropriate equipment! They worked very hard, overcame obstacles (parking difficulties,& steep terrain, to name a few), without complaint,& maintained positive attitudes! My brother referred me because he had them do work at his property and he said everything went fine except they left a lot of oil in the driveway. I called for an estimate and my estimator showed up 45 minutes after the predicted arrival time. I received an incredible estimate after going through the planned work and was pressured to schedule upon completing the assessment. However, I continued to have estimates with other companies that continuously came out significantly higher, which confused me a little bit. Naturally, I was leaning towards working with VEMA because for some reason, they were quoting me $1000 to $2000 cheaper than everyone else for the same work. I had the estimator come out a second time to look at some changing conditions and finally figured out that he had never realized certain components of my job, and I had been misled about what the estimate included the entire time. There’s very little detail in the format of the estimates provided by this company compared with other companies. Not only was he late both times, but he also misunderstood my project and gave me an inaccurate estimate the first time. During the second assessment, my estimate was no longer anything special compared to other companies I had look at my project and of course, I was immediately pressured to schedule on site which felt pushy and a little bit threatening about my estimate changing if I didn’t schedule. When we parted ways, I could tell that neither of us had any interest in working together.

I didn’t appreciate the lack of punctuality, the lack of detail, the confusing communication, and the pressure to schedule. I had at least four other estimators come look at the same project who all came on time and were clearly better options than this.

Vema Tree Services did a great job communicating with me throughout the entire process. Anthony worked with me to find a price I felt comfortable with based on the work I needed done. Once we agreed on the price, I was impressed by how quickly the crew was scheduled and how efficiently the job was completed.
The crew did a thorough, high-quality job and was very respectful of my property. I also truly appreciated the cleanup afterward—it made a big difference.

They removed a 90' Cypress tree on our property that showed signs of decay and cracking in the base.They were super professional, friendly, and on time, with excellent communication from the initial quote to the final clean up. Angel and his crew did an amazing job removing and trimming trees for my grandparents. They went above and beyond to safely remove a tree that was in a very difficult location, and handled the entire job with professionalism and care. The crew was hardworking, respectful, and incredibly efficient. They also made sure everything was cleaned up beautifully afterward. You can tell they truly take pride in their work. We’re very thankful for Angel and his team and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing tree work done!

We had these palm trees are in our neighborhood they have been a nuisance to all the neighbors for many years these things were at least 60 feet tall and very close together.
The amazing new neighbors hired Angel and his crew. They used our front yard to park their bucket truck, and access the trees from our yard. Angel the foreman was amazing and did a great job. We were super happy with the work that they all performed. Everything was done with consideration to making sure nothing got damaged in our yard as well as the neighboring yard, which are all very close. Did a great job protecting our fruit trees from getting damaged with falling palm fronds. Very happy with the job they did cleaning up and came over to confirm that we were happy with the cleanup. Would highly recommend this crew.

Santiago and his crew arrived right on time and were communicative and respectful. They left my front and back yard so clean afterwards. The price was very competitive and I would 100% recommend them. I plan to use them again in a few years when my trees need to be trimmed again!

Angel and his team came and thinned a particularly crowded and overgrown redwood grove in our backyard. They were on time, professional and got the job done safely and in record time! Very fair pricing and an absolutely incredible job! Here are some before and after pics! Excuse the rest of the mess in the yard it’s a work in progress!

We are super happy with the work that we had done! The trees to remove were on a steep hill with power lines nearby. Angel and his crew didn’t even bat an eye bringing down all of the trees without any impact to the two buildings near. It was so impressive to watch them work!

The pictures are before and after from our deck and they never brought a branch down on a structure. Really impressive to watch.

I am still in awe and amazement how this company and Edgar and his crew worked !!! They had all the equipment and man power at top notch !! They were quick , efficient , and at ease with all communications! They took a monumental job and completed it at PRO level !! Is there a more than 5 star rating !!!?!!!

From the beginning, when Dante gave us the estimate and went over everything, I felt confident in having Vema Tree Service do the job (and at a very reasonable price, I’ll add) and I was not disappointed! Santiago and his crew did AMAZING work! He went over all the work with me and asked questions to make sure it was clear. In ONE day, they trimmed and skinned our Mexican palm, trimmed our yucca palms, took out a diseased Japanese Maple, trimmed back a neighbor’s tree from our house, and the biggest job of all: pruning and raising the canopy on a group of six redwoods in our back yard. They were obviously a very skilled crew. They had all our neighbors mesmerized going up and down the redwoods to carefully prune and remove A LOT of dead wood and excess growth. They were careful and efficient and did a great job cleaning up, both in our yard and our neighbor’s yard. Everything looked better than before they arrived. I was told by two other companies that it would not be worth skinning the palm tree because it would take too much time/money. When Dante did our estimate, he said it wasn’t a problem: they did it the right way with a razor and it looks SO much better. We were very happy with their work. I’d definitely recommend Vema and I’ll be calling them for any future tree work.

Great customer service from start to finish! Edgar came over to our house late Thursday afternoon and gave us a free estimate which, after the 20% discount, was very reasonable. The following Tuesday, Froyland and his crew arrived on time (not a minute late) to do the work. You can't go wrong hiring this team of professional tree cutters. They not only cut down our tree, they also stacked the wood, chipped the large branches, raked up all the small branches and chipped them too, and then used their leaf blower to clean up the entire work area. I must say, they exceeded our expectations and then some. My husband and I highly recommend Vema Tree Service for all your tree care/maintenance needs.

Edy and his team were incredible- they came to our door one day in the neighborhood and asked us if we needed any services while we happened to be looking for someone to work on our trees (great coincidence), and provided a quote for more than 2k less than the other people we had checked with. They were able to schedule us for the next day!

They came in- a 4 man team and got it done in 2.4 hours! 6 trees taken care of total- and they were respectful of neighbors, our property, and the clean up is amazing.

Santiago and his crew, from VEMA Tree Services, did an awesome job with the removal of my redwood tree. It was a tough decision, but I was concerned about foundation issues since it was so close to the house. They arrived on time, were very professional and thoroughly cleaned up the tree debris. I highly recommend Santiago and his crew, and will use them again. The price was very fair. Very hard workers, hats off to the crew👍
