David & team transformed our backyard in a matter of 3 weeks. David has a great eye for design and what works for the space. We wanted something low maintenance and clean to maximize running space for kids and it turned out perfectly! He even worked with neighbor to fix a fence issue. This team was courteous and cleaned up each day. Couldn’t be happier!

David saved our yard!! He fixed both animal damage and poor workmanship from the previous contractor. We had poor plant placement/selection, bad sod layout, and tons of weeds. We were happy he took on our smaller scope of work (ie small SF yard).

He was patient, provides good options, and worked within our budget. He was on site everyday and had great communication. He has high standards and makes sure the work is done right! Wished we had found him the first time around and saved us some time and $. Would definitely recommend Inside Out to anyone.

We worked with Inside Out on a complete (and fairly large) landscape remodel of our house. Despite intense rain and a multitude of challenging conditions, David and his crew worked tirelessly through it all to deliver an absolutely outstanding final product. Their attention to detail and pride in their work really shows, and they often went above and beyond where others would have cut corners. I highly recommend working with Inside Out, especially for anything slightly out of the ordinary.

David and his team stand out in terms of communication, attention to detail, and reliability. Working with them made our backyard project the most enjoyable construction process I’ve experienced. He and his team did consistently excellent work and were kind, responsive and thoughtful communicating with us throughout the project.

David and team delivered excellent results while also being really great to work with. The InsideOut crew is very skilled, punctual, respectful and hard-working. Our project was large and quite complicated as we live on a steep slope. We had engaged a landscape architect and also a design firm that had great vision but was weak on delivering detailed plans. Time and again, David had to jump in to resolve design issues and come up with creative solutions that worked in practice, bridging communications with the design firm, architect and me. His experience across all areas of landscaping and his leadership talent made all the difference to the timeline and end result.

David and his entire team were absolutely fantastic to work with. I worked with him on two (2) large projects, one in San Francisco, one in Los Altos. Here are all the reasons why I'd highly recommend working with David and his team:

- Very easy to communicate with: David was very responsive via email, text, and phone. He's a clear communicator and easy to brainstorm with to really capture your vision for your space.
- Good design partner: David can fully design your space or he can also listen to elements you've thought about and incorporate those into the design so you may add your own personal touch.
- High quality work: The work done on my projects was very high quality and the results were stunning and exactly what I wanted.
- Stands by his work: After each project, David was super responsive to any final touches and/or fixes that needed to be made and he and his team ensured they all got done in a timely fashion.
- His team is solid: I interacted with, and spoke to, David's team A LOT as we spent a lot of time together on these two projects. They were a joy to work with, very respectful and tidy, did great work, and even my little kids enjoyed practicing spanish with them and saying hello and goodbye each day :) I can't say enough about our lead, Eliel, who was an absolutely fantastic partner and worked very well with David and I.
- No major issues: There were no major issues nor problems with either of the two projects David and his team completed for me.
- Ongoing maintenance: In addition to installation, David and his team can handle your ongoing maintenance, which is wonderful given they know all the details of the plants, technology, materials, etc. that went into my/your project.
- Very reasonable price: I looked around and got quotes and David and his team came in at a competitive price, which in combination with the high quality of their work, I'd go with them every time versus risking working with a contractor that could mess things up and create a painful experience (which I've experienced on past projects before I met David and began working with him and his team).

Overall you are going to have a very nice experience with David and his team, you will get your money's worth and he will stand by his work, and the end result will be a very professional, polished, and beautiful space without any hassle or major issues. I'll be using David and his team from here on out for any project!!!

David and team have been absolutely amazing from the start to finish. David created a great design for us and had always worked with us in what we are trying to accomplish. Eliel and the crew were very professional and able to execute according to the design. David and his crew were fantastic. They did extremely high-quality work that is also beautiful. They took accountability for issues that arose and repaired them immediately and they were also really flexible as we added scope throughout the project. I would hire David and his team again anytime and would recommend inside out to anyone.

We had an excellent experience with David and his team at Inside Out. He worked seamlessly with our landscape designers, giving us pricing for multiple options for our yard renovation and helping us figure out how to get the most out of our budget. David is a great communicator, very detail oriented and patient. The folks who did the work were courteous and thorough. Six months later, the plants are thriving and we are so happy with the outcome.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Inside Out, thanks to Eliel, Elder, and Selvin. Not only do they do an excellent job maintaining our yard and landscaping, but they’re also incredibly warm and willing to help with anything we might need.

Recently, we had a large plant that was in major need of repotting. They jumped in so happily, and even took the initiative to repot additional plants we hadn’t realized needed attention. Beyond that, they shared thoughtful tips on how to care for our plants, which was so appreciated. It’s clear they take real pride in their work and consistently go above and beyond.

We had such a wonderful experience with David and his entire team for our backyard renovation. Inside out had an incredible vision and execution in turning a useless sloping tiny hillside of a backyard into a spectacularly constructed and planted usable yard space with attractive fence, benches, fire pit and room for people to congregate. It is gorgeous looking out at our plants every day as they helped us pick items that would flower throughout the course of the year. Additionally they maintain it very well through monthly visits.

The Inside Out team who helped us was awesome! They were professional and efficient. I had a great experience working with David on our project. The crew who came out did a fantastic job in planting, trimming our shrubs and trees, and cleaning up our yard. Eliel provided me tips about our landscaping and even helped me with my Rachio app set-up. I highly recommend them!

We are thrilled with our new backyard. We use the space a lot more now. David and his team did a great job. We love the plants and the lighting. ❤️

I asked Inside Out Landscaping to replace a fence for me. They did a splendid job, which led to a number of projects
- building a Trex deck
- repairing a crumbling retaining wall
- leveling, adding soiling and planting
- installing irrigation lines and lighting

David and his crew are stellar! They communicated well, kept the worksite clean, prevented damage to existing property and executed on time. They dealt with parking and access problems with admirable patience, advised us on plants and maintenance, and worked through all weathers.

Their work is doing extremely well now, the bees seem very happy!

In the pictures, the deck was built by Inside Out, and the fence with the nice facing was built by Inside Out - the other fence was pre-existing. The gravelly bit in one of the pictures is on me - I haven't finished it yet!

My dad owns this company and it seems to be very good and i have never seen anyone working this hard before.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AMD UN-ORGANIZED! UNABLE TO SCHEDULE AN ESTIMATE AS WE WERE CONSTANTLY BEING RESCHEDULED. AFTER THE 3RD ATTEMPT WE GAVE UP.

I had a 4 x 5‘ section of concrete sidewalk which needed to be replaced. They came and broke out the balance of the piece and replaced. They did an absolutely beautiful job they were here about half day roughly and the one guy stayed another hour and a half to make sure that the concrete set correctly and was perfectly smooth. The two gentlemen that came to do the job were very fine and very confident I would certainly recommend them again

Had Gio and his crew build a sloped concrete slab in my backyard as the foundation for a new deck. They did an excellent job and it was a pleasure working with Gio from getting the estimate to all the way thru the build.
Would definitely recommend them for any concrete type work!
