This is a great company, the owner Scott is a true leader.

OMG I don't know if they were hired by Long Beach City or Metro Blue Line , but this company started to set up at 6am on a Saturday where sound ordnance is 9am using chainsaws and yelling to each other and using a roll off dumpster and a chipper I said something to the worker at they had woke up my entire family but he ignored me and just kept working so I call the police

Killing trees for bussiness and conflict of interest contracts. They removed several healthy and beautiful trees on a park near my home.

The trees in the neighborhood needed trimming and Great Scott did an amazing job. The shaping of the trees showed care and expertise.

Workers screaming under my window at 6:15 am. Backing up their trucks making beeping noises. No respect for residents at all. Sawing down trees waking the whole neighborhood.

Wish they had an actual Arborist overseeing the trimming. NO NEED to trim the trees in Casa De Laguna as much as they are cutting!!!!!! They should be cutting ONLY the dead branches!!!!!! Disappointed in our board and property management company for their selection AGAIN.

These guys are a NIGHTMARE!!! RUN don't WALK away from this vile company!!! PLEASE save yourselves and your environment. We have a Madman on our HOA Board 😭 and she has cut down many healthy trees as she wants to change a once lush property into a cactus desert... UGGHHH
This company will cut down anything for money. Not care about our beloved once beautiful Community. They laughed as they cut our 40 year old tree. They have no integrity. When I called Moses, he was extremely rude! Basically told me if I didn't like it to lump it! WoW! Sad! They will cut down a trusted friend, rather than find ways to preserve them. Trees r our saviors! We need them!

Great Scott Tree Care has taken CARE of the City of Newport Beach for years now and I have seen such an amazing change. As a resident, I am extremely happy with the amount of CARE they put into making our city look its best. I live on Newport Island where a lot of contractors and maintenance crews are constantly taking up our small roads but GSTC has always been respectful to our limited space while still giving great service. SO HAPPY!

Trimmed very large ficus trees on Francisco Drive in Newport Beach sat in their trucks for a half hour before starting the job rather than cleaning up the mess that they perviously left the day before. Tree trimmings in the middle of the street were there before the street sweeper and did not clean up after themselves What a joke they don’t belong in the tree trimming business. What I see in these reviews is a love them or hate them thing. Tree trimming is very difficult work and yes you can look for faults in an operation trying to accommodate thousands of trees in trimming, removal, and stump grinding. Arborists also do not grow on trees and cannot be readily available to make observations on every trees situation so one has to compassion for men whom have scaled and trimmed in high heat and arduous conditions for sometimes not doing a complete clean up. Often, the missed branches when trimmed are green and blend in and cannot be seen until after a few days of desiccation to reveal them. Anyway, now to my point, Great Scott is an honest and trustworthy company supported by good people trying to perform a great service. Take it from a manager of 40K trees.
