General Contractor reviews in Stockton, California

Fantastic work! Called to setup estimate and received immediately call back and next day estimate which was straightforward and very competitive pricing. Oscar was very friendly, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish. End result was above my expectations! I highly recommend and would use services in the future if needed.

Easy to work with contactor. Hard working family. They replaced the door easily. They even handled picking it out , and had the door replaced within 3 days of the quote.

I needed new front double doors & went to Yelp. I received a few quotes. Oscar was able to provide a free in person estimate that very day. Another business asked me to love them the measurements & take photos for them and then said it would take a few days to email me a quote, which was double the quote from Oscar.
Oscar was able to get the door ordered and then installed 3 days later.
I was very pleased with the double doors, the quality, and promptness of the service Oscar & his son provided. They cleaned up after & hauled the old dots away too.
All About Carpentry gave me an unmatched quote that other businesses could not.
I will definitely reach out to Oscar for future projects around the house.
I highly recommend this business!!!

I can't say enough great things about Luis and his crew. They saved us when we had a water leak in our master bath and kitchen. After we had another company do water mitigation at our home in Tracy, Luis and his team came in and expertly replaced our damaged sink vanity, faucet, and plumbing infrastructure, as well as re-installed our oven, microwave and their cabinet that got displaced during water mitigation. They even eyed and corrected a few things the builders got wrong in our house (i.e. non-matching paint, no insulation). No attitude, no fuss, and no complaining from these guys. Just quiet expertise and professionalism. I highly recommend UI Construction for any home repair or remodeling.

Great work.

I highly recommend Unique Innovation Construction Inc. The owner Luis is reliable , talented and trustworthy . I am a Realtor and he has completed numerous projects for my friends and clients from Kitchen remodels to creating an ADU. All have been very pleased with the quality of his work . Whether it’s a large or small project Luis will get the job done right !!

Luis and his crew were amazing. They listened to my ideas, made excellent suggestions and necessary modifications. The work is stellar. They were professional, clean, showed up at the exact right time everyday. Communication was outstanding. Billing clear and fair. Highly recommend!

Over 20 years of hiring workers and these guys are seriously the best! On time everyday, trustworthy, clean, definitely hard working. The new room addition went so smooth even with winter weather they were there.

Luis and his men did the repairing of my office and they did an excellent job. His men were always on time, respectful and they listened to every single detail I wanted and created it just how i imagined. Even after I missed to tell them something I wanted, they came back to add the detail i unfortunately forgot to mention.

I can't recommend Unique Innovation Construction, Inc. highly enough! I've hired them for a couple projects now and they'll be my first choice for any other projects that arise. First, our bathroom floor was a disaster after a leak and they completely transformed it. From the initial assessment to the final cleanup, they were professional, communicative, and incredibly skilled. They clearly explained the repair process, kept us updated on their progress, and answered all our questions patiently. The quality of their work is outstanding – the floor looks even better than before the damage! They were also respectful of our home and took great care to minimize disruption. Recent storms badly damaged a portion of my fence, which was a major issue because I have a large dog and need to keep my yard secured. I reached out to the company's owner, Luis, and they were able to come out quickly to repair the damage. Again, the fence looks better than it did before the damage! I always feel like I'm getting my money's worth. If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and talented contractor, Unique Innovation Construction, Inc. is the best choice. We are thrilled with the results!

Edit April 2025: I hired them to build me a new side gate and it is both gorgeous and sturdy.

Met with Luis the owner regarding work at a commercial property where the tenant had done work without a permit. The situation was a big mess and Luis was willing to step in and assist with the project. Luis worked with the inspector and was able to get to a point to get things passed. There is still things that need to be done to finish things off and can't thank Luis enough for stepping in to get us to the point where we are. I would defiantly refer Luis for other projects to friends and family.

Luis and his team did a great job on a bedroom addition I requested. The team was professional and proficient. There was a little miscommunication on completeness however Luis remedied the situation quickly and above and beyond expectations. I would recommend him and would hire him again for future projects.

Luis and his team are top-notch professionals. I was purchasing a home and had to have a major repair done as a condition of escrow. Moving and purchasing a house is already a very stressful process, but from the time that Luis came to bid the job from the time that the work was complete he put my mind at ease and made the process smoother. Him and his team did a Fantastic job on my garage repair. They had to do some framing and stucco work and everything turned out great. They are reliable and show up when they say they’re gonna show up plus, they were very quick to get the job done. I would highly recommend unique innovations for any of your construction needs.

We were so impressed with Luis Castro and his crew at Unique Innovations. Luis was quick to respond through the entire process, from the initial walk through and planning process to the final walk through. We met with several contractors to to get bids for our project - to remodel and expand the upstairs bathroom in our 1925 home - and Luis was the only contractor who really listened to our vision for the room, and gave us the most complete plan and thorough bid for the work required to make it happen. Once he and his crew started work, the project came together quickly. They would have finished ahead of schedule had we not run into supply issues with the shower door we selected. Even then, the work was done quickly, and professionally. These guys did such amazing work. Our bathroom is beautiful. We plan on reaching out again for the next big home renovation we plan. I highly recommend Luis and his team.

I found the team to be very responsive to last minute requests during the bidding process.

It's been a great experience working with MidCal and its team. Highly knowledgeable!

I would like to thank everyone at Mid-Cal Constructors for building our new Golf Practice Facility. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and quality of work have met our expectations and beyond!

Working with Mid-Cal Constructors on our estate has been a wonderful experience. And although the company is suited for large commercial projects they are clearly adept enough to complete a job of any size with skill, experience, and attention to detail. Our project manager Staci kept the project on budget and finished on time which for us was very important. Thank you to her and her team for all the effort you put into our property. We love the work you have provided for us.

We had our driveway replaced and widened. They came with the right tools and equipment and got the job done in to days. They have their system down. I would highly recommend and will use them again.

If you're looking for the right contractor look no more! We had been looking for a contractor to do a remodel of our guest bathroom and Rh was one of the only ones that would come out to do an estimate.

Once we got the estimate we had him quote door replacement and baseboards throughout the home. Why stop there he also painted the entire inside of the house....while we were living in it. The experience was amazing. They took care to move and cover everything and did an amazing job on the entire remodel!

Their attention to detail was impressive.

Thank you Ramone and RH team.
