Before calling him, I had another company check our furnace because it was making a strange noise and not heating the house. That company charged me for a tune-up and told me the furnace was installed wrong years ago, saying I needed a brand new furnace and new ducts, quoting a huge price. They even sent a salesperson to try to sell me a whole new system, even though my current setup still looked almost new. Jude came out later, checked the furnace, and said it was actually in good shape. He listened to the noise and figured out it was caused by wind blowing into the exhaust vent from outside, making the motor work harder.
