I called nine different companies. USA Repairs were the only company that provided me with excellent service and came out same day. They showed me step by step what was going on. They are my A+ electricians.

The gentleman on the phone was actually super nice, very cordial and friendly. The problem was the tech who came over to my place to give me a quote on the job. I got quoted a price that is 2.5x's more than what everyone else was quoting after coming to see the job site. However, this tech, after seeing the work I needed done, started fumbling around in his folder, could not find what he needed to price me properly, so he just randomly threw out a much higher number than what everybody else was quoting for. The others that came were also licensed electricians, so his excuse as to why his pricing was so high (claiming the others were not licenced) made no sense. All I was trying to do is get a wire from the power source that was less than 10 feet away so I can wire my Ring floodlight camera. I was quoted $550 to do that, everybody else was pricing me in the $180 to $225 range. The reason I didn't take the other people up on their offer, was because they weren't able to do it for me that same evening. After this experience though, I'll just have to wait to work with more honest electricians who are not trying to scam me and charge me way more than the job is worth. The other electricians even said the parts would only cost $20 to $30.. which would mean this guy is trying to charge me around $240 an hour for what is a maximum 1 to 2 hour job.
