Dario Tree Trimming

We have been using Dario's tree service for years. They are very professional and know their limitations. We trust Dario, his son and crew to get the job done.

I am a tenant in a property that had used this company before back in 2015. The landlords and I were very happy with them and I had made a point to let everyone I knew know about what a wonderful company they were. I went so far as to go on social media and sing their praises. What happened between then and today, I do not know, but I personally will not use them or recommend them again.
After living in the valley for over 37 years and owning three properties, this has been the worst experience I have had with a company.
Not only were they dangerously unprofessional, but they did not do the entire job they were contracted for nor did they want to clean up everything they left.

They were in a hurry to get to their next job(I heard from the time they reached our home at 6:40 AM that they had to get to Pasadena and that's why they were early). After they left, I saw that the very first thing that we had wanted trimmed had not been trimmed and called the company. I was informed that the crew would return and they did...with a vengeance.

The truck pulled up and there was no concern as to what might have been wrong. When I showed the "boss" whose name was Dalio the uncut tree, he said that he hadn't been told of the tree and that the hedges couldn't be cut without a chainsaw.

He then cursed and ran to truck grabbing a chainsaw that wouldn't start and slammed it on the sidewalk. With that he got another chainsaw while someone else, a little saner, came calmly walking up to the hedge with a hedge trimmer and started trimming the hedge.

I also pointed out the front of the hedge on the sidewalk hadn't been trimmed and Dalio again started the chain saw, this time within a foot of my face. I could feel bits of debris hit my face. I asked him to stop, which, thank God, he did, and I motioned to the guy with hedge trimmer and showed him the area and he calming trimmed.

This company also pulled out the support on the back porch cover and I told me it wasn't their fault, my landlords are having the expense of having someone out and bolt it back down.
And clean up was not so great either When I asked that leaves under a trimmed tree be removed, I was told they were being left as mulch. I asked again and was refused. I was then told that "she" and I guess this meant my landlord, wanted to leave the leaves as mulch.

So, if you're looking for a tree trimmer, beware of Dario Tree Trimming. The company does not care about the safety of whoever is living in the house or their concerns about whether work is done correctly. The man who comes for estimates is wonderful and will tell you that they won't leave until you are happy. Nothing could be further from the truth. When this crew left I was shaking and scared. I will never recommend them again.

They were at the property for about 2 hrs and 15 mins.

We had the best experience using Dario, from the free estimate to the quality of the work. They were meticulous and cleaned up all the debris- even cleaning what had fallen in the pool. I would highly recommend!
