I typically am not one to write reviews but when I contacted the business, the person who returned the call was fairly rude and just hung on me when I told him where I live. I'm cool if they don't service my area but not a good way to run a business...

As soon as I mentioned “sand canyon” in Tehachapi he cut me off mid sentence and said “NOPE” in a very rude manner….like okay? Perhaps there is somebody u recommend? Or you just wanna be rude to people for calling you and asking for a quote? I’m not the first person to say he’s rude, look at his other google/yelp reviews. Do better

I had recently posted an upset review and just now took it off. The owner came over to my house right away and reimbursed me for the misunderstanding and made things right respectfully. . Thankyou AC/DC for making things right and treating your customers with care and respect!

My meter was ran over with a truck called David up to see if he could help us out he came out to check it out was able to find one it was a pedistool type meter he traveled great distance to get it he had to replace the footing and install the new meter box we was with out power for a little while but we had a back up generator if you need an electrician this is the guy you want tells you the price upfront but he will go above and beyond to get the job done even in the freezing weather I will recommend ac/dc electric to anyone…

Installed a generac whole house generator I purchased from HD. Although he is a generac dealer he lacked some knowledge about the product that ultimately cost us more money. He did apologize. He was able to begin install just weeks after our first contact, which was better timing than local competitors and his pricing was competitive. Overall it took 9 business days for the install. He was more transparent than the other three electricians I contacted. He did not inflate his quote with unnecessary adds. They kept a clean site and did not bother us much. The whole crew was very respectful.

David is an excellent electrician who is really good at problem-solving and coming up with clever solutions. We've used his services twice now, and he's been great to work with! He's quick to answer his phone, comes when he says he's going to come, is reasonably priced, and is overall just a nice guy. We will definitely be calling on his services in the future. This was our first time using David and AC/DC Electric and we couldn't have been happier with the service. Though he admitted he was having a rough day and apologized for being "grumpy" - which in our opinion he wasn't - he still took the time to explain the cause of the problem and how he was going to fix it. He was pleasant and easy to talk with. We were so happy with the service he provided, we went ahead and scheduled him to come back out in a few weeks to fix another minor electrical issue.

David has been doing multiple jobs on my parents house he also did my grandparents house as well. Very professional straight tot the point and easy to talk to and understand. He will go above and beyond to make sure he can accomplish your goal. 100% recommend.

Quality, communication, and professionalism were all top-notch!

So far so good! Called to have some weird isolated electricity flickers & outages fixed. Made an appointment and our guy David showed up on time ready to figure out our issue and get it fixed. He was knowledgeable, informative & fair. Found & fixed the issue in a timely, professional manner...which can be hard to find in this small town! Would definitely recommend. Now I can be the person that answers "local electrician needed? I know a guy!" Thanks AC/DC Electrick!

Dave from AC/DC Electrick in Tehachapi, Ca. was a Literal Lifesaver 🔥 for my Wife and I. We were experiencing very strange Electrical issues in our 45 year old House. Lights dimming, flashing and shutting off. Power intermittent throughout the entire House but no breakers ever tripped. It kept getting worse until We Finally called gor Help.
We tried 3 different Electrical Companies including the one the Insurance suggested and got either no call back or a No because We live in a small Town in the Mountains.

I happened upon Dave and He answered his Phone (imagine that). He came right over and was very Friendly and very Courteous. He looked at it right then and suggested replacing a number of very old breakers which smelled burnt. He went directly to Home Depot and did the work. He also suggested calling Edison right away because He believed the cause was on the Edison side of the Panel that He cant touch.

We called Edison first thing Monday morning. The first thing they wanted to know was if we had replaced the breakers first or they wouldn’t have come out until we did. We were so Happy that Dave did that the first hour after we called him.

Edison also came over very quickly the same day (within an Hour) and immediately found a dangerous (Fire Hazard🔥💥) 45 year old connection in our Panel where it connects from the Pole (see pics). Dave agreed to talk to the Edison guy on the Phone (Who by the way knew Dave and said He was one of the last good guys willing to do work in Town). Those two worked Together to get us restored with a new panel, new extended lines from the Edison side. Dave also Talked directly to our Insurance Company while they made out all the paperwork and approved the FULL REIMBURSEMENT over the Phone. They are also scheduling the Inspection which they both need to attend since this was done on an Emergency approval basis.

This could’ve been a complete nightmare if it wasn’t for these two Stand Up Guys. Especially nowadays I was so Surprised and lucky to find such good People in our little Town. Thank You Matt from Edison and Dave from AC/DC Electrick (and the Insurance agent) for the Best Experience Possible in a scary and bad situation.

Highly recommend David with AC/DC Electrick! He showed up fast, fixed what I needed, and even took care of something extra while he was here. Super friendly, professional, and dependable — I’ll absolutely be calling him again!
