General Contractor reviews in Torrance, California

We completed a permited garage to ADU conversion and a major house remodel. Ali and Alfonzo are both fantastic. They are very responsive and easy to work with. The prices were fair and the finished work looks great.

My ADU leaked after he remodeled my garage conversion. Not trustworthy. Find someone else.

I recently worked with SouthBay Contractors to completely renovate my first house, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results. They showed their expertise, professionalism, and dedication throughout the project, from the very beginning to the final touches. Ali, the person in charge, kept me informed about the progress and any decisions that needed to be made, communicating openly. They were quick to respond to my questions and concerns, giving me updates that kept me feeling comfortable during the renovation process. The work done by their team was even better than I expected. They took care of everything, from changing the structure to the smallest design details, with great precision and care. The quality of their craft is amazing, and it's clear they're really proud of their work. Thanks to them, my old and run-down home is now my dream home.

Alex is very professional and helpful. He answered all my questions and doubts. I needed to retrofit my building and they did an excellent job. The work was completed on time. I will highly recommend Baycities for your retrofitting needs.

Bay Cities is the first and last company I will call for any of my general construction needs. They are very efficient and friendly and get the work done in a timely manner. I highly recommend them.

Bay Cities Construction worked my parents kitchen remodel. It's was a large job and they where clean, knowledgeable and most importantly on time.

Wow, Bay Cities Construction and Alex are fantastic. The job got done fast and on budget. The greatest part of all is that I got update constantly on how the job was moving. Thanks for all your wonderful suggestions, I am looking forward to our next remodeling project.

I couldn’t be happier with the work done on my home. The work has been spread out over two years and Bay Cities has worked with me on design and within my budget.

So far we have remodeled two bathrooms, put down hardwood floors, seismic retrofit, a newly remodeled kitchen and now working on a new driveway and back yard space.

Everyone who had worked on my home has been professional and respectful. Management is responsive to questions and concerns. They listened to what I wanted and made sure I knew the pros and cons.

Bay Cities Construction did a complete bathroom remodel, a large staircase reconstruction, as well as intensive refurbishment inside our new home (paint entire interior, wall/ceiling skimming, installed all new recessed lighting throughout home, etc).

The work was clean, on budget, and on time. Working with Alex and his team from planning to completion was professional and responsive.

Very glad to have found Bay Cities Construction and already saving for our next project with Alex!

I used Bay Cities Construction to repair my home after a flooding incident. They are local and I have used Bay Cities for a homeowners association project. I wasn't sure that they do a smaller project as mine. Alex, Casey, Dan, and Adrian have all been honest and responsive. Work was a bit delayed due to illness but I appreciated that no one was working in my home during the pandemic with any type of illness. All was completed to my satisfaction. My home repairs included, new flooring, and new bathroom fixtures. I would recommend Bay Cities.

Bay Cities Construction remodeled our kitchen last summer. I am very plesed with how everything turned out. The quality of the work was fantastic and the job was finished right on schedule. Alex had some great ideas on how to handle some unique challenges we had. I am happy we used Bay Cities for our project.

Southline Construction was very helpful throughout the entire renovation process. I'm extremely happy with the end result and their professionalism! They were organized, communicative and on top of everything.
We had a deadline to put our apartment on the market, which they were able to meet.I highly recommended using southline construction.

Tenants are often hard on rental property and when a unit is vacated it is nice to have a dependable company, I can rely on, to get things back into shape and ready for a new tenant. In addition to minor repairs, Southline Construction is good at coming up with creative solutions to address difficult repairs. I had a front door frame that had been badly damaged and I had visions of having to replace the entire front door, a metal security door and the wood frame, not to mention patch and repaint the exterior stucco because everything was connected. Instead, the damaged area was cut out of the wood frame and it was re-built to support a new door closer mechanism replacing an old one that had been ripped out of the wood frame causing all the damage. The frame was rebuilt, a new door closer mechanism was installed, the door seal was replaced, and all the wood got a new coat of paint. The new and improved frame is much stronger, the door closer mechanism operates smoothly, and the frame looks like new. Kudos for coming up with a clever solution.
This company first helped me with rental property but I have since remodeled a bath in my home and the high quality workmanship is consistent, prices are reasonable and communication excellent. The best part is my input is taken into consideration so in the end I am happy with the results.
I’ve had my share of horror stories over the years so I can honestly say I totally appreciate the peace of mind I have choosing this company for my projects, no doubt there will be more.

Southline Construction truly made our kitchen and bathroom beyond beautiful. They completely transformed or outdated kitchen and bathroom and gave it a modern and clean look. The entire renovation process was stress-free thanks to their excellent team. Our contractor Nawid was very knowledgeable and gave us different options to chose from and was always working in our best interest to save us money and avoid going over budget.
My husband and I are very impressed with their accuracy and professionalism. They were kind and respectful and I felt completely comfortable having them in my home. I Highly recommended them.
