Homeowners BEWARE of this business!
A complete scam! Jim showed up with no tools, zero work equipment, was not dressed for the job, wanted $250 cash for showing up to assess the situation , $300 cash to go to Reno for parts, $250 cash to have his buddy bring a ladder over ( when we had ours out and set up) no explanation of parts or any type of assessed damage.
Refused to provide any type of identification, proof of business license and became very defensive when asked to provide any type of credentials! I truly believe he is a scam artist and thank goodness I picked up on this right away as it didn’t pass the sniff test!

Terrible customer service at the counter. I just went in and stood around for several minutes and the employees continued a conversation about quitting their job without ever acknowledging my presence. I can’t speak to their knowledge or products as I left to spend my money on a business that will treat me with respect.

This company puts up a total stink about their immediate neighbor, our local Truckee Hospice Thirft store that is beloved in our community. They are the antithesis of our local community vibe and support, unwilling to allow any of their "many" parking spots to be used by Thirfters when Consolidated ED is a low traffic, functioning local business at this location with 100% of their parking spots almost always vacant. Us locals are making it our mission to run this business out of here starting today. Do not support this business at all costs if your are local Tahoe resident/business and get these people with their bad attitudes out of our town!

This company is great, the staff is amazing and helpful, very patient. Just wanted to say I’m sorry that today I parked in your companies parking space and visited the thrift store it was a total jerk move, and your conpanies customers and your company alone doesn’t deserve that disregard for the clearly displayed sign. I went into CED looking for an unusal replacement part for an older model drop-in floor box. Although not a regular stocked item, Anthony took the initiative to hunt the product down, found it and provided a quote within 24 hours. Thank you Anthony for your excellent customer service and can do attitude!!! I highly reccomend CED and will definately be back.

Worst business in town. Prices are marked up at-least 3X compared to Home Depot & Amazon for the exact same thing direct from the manufacturer. CED will send you the wrong products because they are short on inventory and don’t know what they are talking about. Can’t believe the electrician I hired bought anything from CED AND they don’t take returns and will fight you on all of it!! Unbelievable, they have brainwashed a bunch of electricians to not order anything online or compare prices for clients.

3rd time in the store. Brian and the other guy working front desk are the best. They have always had the parts and materials I need. They are professional , courteous, respectful and incredibly helpful. They are my primary electrical one stop shop for Truckee.
