We hired them to keep my elderly mom’s yard in compliance with city regulations. The whole place looks better than it has ever looked. A big plus is that Stacey is so easy to communicate with.

I was extremely excited about starting a new project with mr smith after working with him in the past. Once again he pulled through , designing and completing a beautiful patio with custom brick fireplace . He truly has wealth of knowledge, not the cheapest , but he is worth every penny!!! I would highly recommend him for any projects

We went to them for an extensive paver and outdoor kitchen job and we started with him preparing renderings for our front and back yard. We should have realized they were a bad choice when it took about a month to get the initial drawings that contained many mistakes. Then it took a few weeks for him to make the minor corrections. We wanted to go with him but having no bid after 5 months doesn’t seem like he was doing anything to help us out. We called him on this and then he said he didn't want to work with us. He talked a good game but at the end of the day he did almost nothing. We will find someone else who wants to work with us in a professional manner and get this done. We are just sorry that we wasted all this time listening to his excuses!

Stacey and his team did amazing work and were very professional. I was pleasantly surprised that he was able to make my backyard look so amazing and exceed my expectations. They executed every detail that I asked for and I could not be happier. I will be referring all my friends and coworkers. Thank you!

His ideas of having a nice looking yard and landscape is spot on. He has done Masonry work for me that looks terrific. I still use his landscaping maintenance to help keep that great look. Stacey Smith and his crew have done multiple landscaping projects for us. Most recently, he rebuilt a circular planter in our front yard and trimmed, cleaned up, and renovated a hillside on our property. What I like most about Smith Landscaping is that he really knows what he’s doing. He is professional and meticulous. For example, a pepper tree in our front yard had cracked the circular block planter in which it was growing. Some masonry contractors could fix the planter, but had no idea how to cut back the tree roots that caused the problem. Some tree trimmers said they could cut the roots back, but couldn’t perform the masonry work. Stacey’s crew cut back the roots, without harming the tree, replaced the block planter, and regroomed the decomposed granite around the planter. The finished work looks great. I recommend him highly.

Had a great experience with Stacey and Crew! It’s was easy to come up with ideas with their help. We started off with no real idea what we were doing and no prior knowledge but they helped us out so much, explaining different patterns, styles, and even types of grass. We learned so much! And the job was well done and in the time frame given, no complaints here! We will definitely be using smith landscaping in our future projects! Thanks guys!

Just finished a backyard overhaul with Stacey and needless to say I am beyond pleased with the final product. You can tell when someone truly cares about the service they provide and product they produce, Stacey is one of those guys. He was on site constantly checking on the progress, asking questions, providing feedback etc. He went above and beyond with other little things in the backyard beyond the scope of the proposal. If anyone appreciates real professionalism and high quality of work that is extremely hard to find these days, then I guarantee you won’t be disappointed with Stacey and his crew. Stacey landscaped our whole front yard which was a lot of ground to cover, because our home sits on a corner. We told him what we liked, and after listening to our preferences he came up with a beautiful design that wrapped around both sides of our home, and the outcome and beauty of the landscape far exceeds what my expectation was. As happy as I am with a job well done, my main reason for writing this review is for that someone out there who’s really searching for a dependable landscaper they can trust. I found Stacey to be forthright and honest all along the way, as well as very meticulous about the quality of work he puts forth. He oversees his crew very closely to ensure everything is done properly. Trust me! If you are on the verge of a huge landscape decision, go with this guy. In the end you’ll be glad you did.

Stacey did a perfect job on our front and back yard all the way from demo, irrigation, concrete and turf! We had an idea of what we wanted but with his design experience he turned it into a reality. Highly recommended!

First, let me say we are just thrilled with the end result of our recent yard improvement. We added lots of concrete beyond the driveway and into the backyard as well as redoing our parkway and rectifying a definite drainage issue. Love the results and the aesthetics! But maybe more than all that is how wonderful it was to deal with Stacey, the owner. Never have we had such constant and almost instant communication with a contractor. He is there when he says he’ll be there (or early), he calls ahead of time if there’s a delay, and he replies almost instantly to any and every call or text. His workers are excellent and respectful. If you can think of it, he can do it. If you can’t think of it, he has lots of suggestions.

We had an exceptional experience. They give contracting a good
name. We did front, back, and side yards. Each were completed to perfection. Stacy, the owner, checked on job progress frequently in person and by phone. The crew members are outstanding. They were punctual, highly skilled, respectful and left the job site in an orderly manner daily. We had an extensive
amount of paver work done (patio, driveway, walkways and parkway). This work was completed with great precision. We

Smith landscape exceeded my expectations! From day one I was impressed with Stacey the owner and his crew. These guys showed up on time and went straight to work. No lagging around - they are seriously focused. The crew takes direction from Stacey, who closely directs them throughout each phase. It’s not hard to see that Stacey enjoys what he does and takes pride in his work. He was gracious to answer any questions I had, not knowing his field of expertise, and he offered helpful advise that matched what I was looking for. At the end of the work day, Stacey’s crew even cleaned up any mess before they went home! Wow, that was a biggie for me. And I really appreciated that. All in all, Stacey designed our large front yard with two parkway areas, installed an intricate drip system, installed accent lighting, that all flowed into a beautiful landscape work of art. If you’re looking for a real professional who knows his stuff, this is your man.
You can always find that “cheaper guy” to do a job, but I’ve learned the hard way - you get what you pay for.

Smith Landscape just finished our front yard project. We are pleased beyond words! We wanted our lawn removed but didn't have any idea what to do next. Stacey created a wonderful drought tolerant design, including trees, shrubs, plants and lighting that really gave it that "Wow" factor. Stacey was great to work with...he listened to our pain points, asked a lot of questions and followed through on all aspects of the design. He actually went above and beyond. We are so pleased! Stacey Smith, owner, was very knowledgeable and informed of many options, from the onset, for our new driveway and landscaping ideas in several meetings. The driveway pavers they installed make our home look fresh!!As a un- informed home owner, with previous decisions to plant guided by MOON nursery, in La Verne, Stacey, and his crew, helped rectify, and adjust the many issues that were left hanging by MOON nursery.
