This was my first time working with Green Convergence and I have to say, they did a great Job! Their customer service kept me up to date and their service technician (Tito) also kept me up to date so I knew exactly when he was on the way to my house! Tito was done within an hour and my satellite connection problem was solved and working again! 5 Stars for sure!

Eric Mancilla was my repair technician for our solar system box replacement. He messaged me informing me that he was on his way and on-time. I sincerely appreciated this. Furthermore, he was very transparent about what needed to be done and provided me an accurate time frame. His service was outstanding, and he was clean and presentable. After replacing and setting up our panel box I went on a bit of a rant while thanking him his service. Thank you Eric.

Background:

SunPower filed bankruptcy. SunStrong took over. The App name was changed to SunStrong. Since I was required to pay for the app service which was previously free, I did not sign up. The app does only give real time solar power.

Issue:

On my app, I received a message that “one or more devices are not working”. After looking around I found that Green Convergence was referred by SunStrong. After checking some of the reviews, I contacted them. I was contacted by Daniel via email and an appointment was set up.

On the day of the appointment, John Sosa arrived on time. Took a look at the system and showed me that one of my 18 panels was not working. Since SunPower did not label each panel, John had to check each one until he found it. Of course, he found that it was on the second floor roof. The solar inverted was not working. Fortunately, it wasn’t the panel. We made arrangements to order the part which would take a couple of weeks to get. John was friendly, professional, and explained several things about the system. Outstanding customer service.

So far, I have had a super experience with Green Convergence. I will follow up when the part is replaced.

Our 13 year old inverters (installed by Green Convergence) were offline and Green Convergence had a technician available the next day. Tito was on time and examined the inverters, breakers and wiring. He determined that one inverter was inoperable and got the other one up and running properly again. He kept me informed throughout the process, explaining what he was doing. He also helped me regain access to the monitoring app (again 13 years old) that I had lost access to after a network change. Tito was unfailingly polite, professional and it was a pleasure to work with him. Green Convergence overall has been a great company to work with since our installation and a couple of changes over the years. I’d give both Tito and Green Convergence 10 stars if I could!

Green convergence able to help SunPower cash owner left in the lurch following SunPowers bankruptcy. John Sosa was sent over to take a look at my SunPower/ SunVault system. John was able to get my solar generating again and the SunVault back online. Incredibly happy to have the system back online. Highly recommend these folks.

Great job! After dealing with the Chp11 with SunPower, my batteries never worked. For two years getting the round around from the new company. GreenConvergence, finally came out, explained and fixed the problem with the batteries. Efrain was very professional and completely understood my situation. I needed someone to come in an analyze our solar panel system to make sure it is working properly and Efrain Zepeda was our technician. He was very thorough, kind, and professional in his analysis! We appreciate his advice on our system!

Our SunPower solar panels and SunVault batteries were installed right when SunPower declared bankruptcy. Although we had our PTO granted in January 2025, we could not activate our Sunvault batteries. For almost one year, we could not get a straight answer re how to activate our batteries. Our installer couldn’t help us, SunPower was defunct, SunStrong was unresponsive and would not activate the batteries because we fully paid off the system, Complete Solaria would not/could not help, and various contractors gave us differing information. We were losing hope. That is until I contacted Green Convergence and they sent John Sosa, their technician. John Sosa is a solar wizard! He had the tools, the access, the experience, and the knowledge to fix a problem that had been plaguing us for 1 year. When another company said they would have to install different components and remap the solar panels to get the batteries online at the cost of thousands more, John was able to activate the batteries with no additional components needed, no remapping, in minimal time. Getting our Sunvault batteries running was really about contacting the right company and having the right technician, and in our case, Green Convergence was the right company, and John Sosa was the right technician. I wish I found them and contacted them sooner. Thank you Green Convergence and John🙏I was losing hope and beginning to explore legal remedies.

Tito from Green Convergence provided exceptional service. He was clear and thorough in explaining everything, and he took the time to answer all of our questions. What impressed us most was that he was able to fix our solar system, which had been down for an entire year. His professionalism, expertise, and dedication made a huge difference. We’re extremely grateful for his help, his knowledge and highly recommend him for any solar service needs.

Love my solar roof installed by them in 2022. A really slick looking install with flush mounted panels, and none of that ugly "panel Tetris" with gaps & conduit I have seen on other houses.

Recently (September 2025) one of the micro invertors on the roof stopped working. I called Green Convergence and spoke with a REAL person, actually IN the building, IN Valencia. He informed me that the invertor was under warranty and I would only have to pay a small labor charge for his guys to climb up and replace it. When technicians Fernando & Tito arrived to do the work they were very efficient, professional and quick. They discovered that the defective invertor was actually still good, and just had a connection that had come loose (most likely in a wind storm.) They were able to not only solve my problem, but also advocated to have my labor charge waived. Green Convergence is a fantastic company with integrity and Francisco & Tito are a couple of top-notch guys. Thanks again.

Our solar was not working when we moved into our new home. Our parent solar company assigned Green Convergence to troubleshoot and repair the issue. They sent three techs - Austin, Jesus Roth and Dillon. In their first visit, they replaced the PVS but that didn’t fix the issue. What I liked was that they didn’t just leave. They hopped on the roof and found that micro inverters were not working. They scheduled a follow up visit, came prepared and replaced the faulty inverters and made sure solar was working. And during all that, they were very courteous and professional.

The only thing I found that the appointments were difficult to get. But on the positive side, I would rather have them come and do it right the first time than someone else coming quickly but not doing their job properly.

Efrain was awesome. My mom's system has been acting faulty for years and the system was not communicating to Sun Strong. He was able to immediately see the problem and get straight to work. I will gladly request Efrain again moving forward with any solar tech needs. He's straight forward and wasted no time for his company or his clients. He answered all my concerns and I have more confidence in the solar system I have since he has worked on it. Highly Recommend!

Richard and Erik did a really good job at repairing my solar panels. They were on time,neat, and very professional. On the occasions that I wasn't present they kept me up to date by phone.
Also, Hector in customer service was also great! We communicated mostly via email however he was available by phone also. When I had a question or concern he responded quickly and I never felt put off as I have been with the previous company .
Trust Green Convergence to make things right!

Efrain Zepeda and the first technician sent out, were from the repair company Green Convergence) contracted by Sunstrong Management. These two were professional, knowledgeable and shared what the steps were to get our system up and running. In addition, when there some communication issues between the system and the app. Efrain followed up and made sure it was resolved. At some point I may buy out of my lease. I am confident that with a company like Greenconvergence my solar equipment will remain in good hands.

John Sosa with Green Convergence is the one & only person who has been able to get our SunVault 13 battery up & running after 1.5yrs of it sitting idle due to the SunPower bankruptcy.

John arrived early. And was in & out in a few hours. He is a fantastic communicator. Efficient, knowledgeable & kind. PLUS he closed the gate on his way out, which oddly many folks don’t do (which, as a dog owner, is important & much appreciated)

Aaron came to install a new inverter. He went above and beyond due to the first inverter being faulty he drove back to the shop over an hours drive and returned with another one and completed the install on the same day! I appreciated that since it was my only day off of work to be home. He was very knowledgeable and efficient and had the new one up and running quickly. He also made another service call a few days later to make an adjustment to the monitor. Knew exactly what was wrong. Fixed it and it all works fine now. I appreciate the great service Aaron and this company has shown me. Highly recommend them for all your solar needs.

We are Sunpower solar customers. It’s been tough to get any response out of them. First subcontractor they sent out didn’t fix the problem and were very unprofessional.
Finally, after 2 months of trading phone calls with Sunpower, they sent GreenConvergence. Not only did they work with our availability, they gave us a 2 hour window (other company gave us an 8-4 window). We received a text within our window that our tech would be arriving within the next 30 minutes. We were met by John Sosa who went straight to work and explained what he found needed to be done and took care of it. Our app was being difficult. There is an hour delay in the connection so he went to lunch and came back in an hour to make sure our app was working. He also then went up on the roof to make sure all the panels were firing, as well. What a professional! John is our go to should we need any future service. I cannot give a big enough shout out to his integrity and professionalism. Thank you John!

Both John Sosa and Efrain were excellent technicians. Efrain was very professional and did an excellent job installing a new inverter. John came out at a later date and provided a lot of useful information and also cleaned my panels and made some minor adjustments to tiles on my roof at no extra charge. Would highly recommend Green Convergence for anybody who is having any issues with their solar panels or production.

Our requests for repair to our leased solar system through Sun Strong went unanswered for 10 months. Finally Green Convergence contacted us, saying they were contracted to repair our system. They picked a dated and time, and their tech Jesus Roth was on time, very skilled, professional, and went out of his way to explain our system and what and how he was going to repair it. We could not be more happy with GC or their service. They are a throwback to what contractors used to be 40 years ago. Somebody who shows up on time, does an excellent job, and is professional and knows their stuff. Although this was only service, he ended up replacing the entire inverter and communications. Consider yourself warned. If you use anyone else other than Green Convergence...it's on you...Jesus is a pleasant hard working example, of what exemplifies excellence.
This company is amazing and hopefully has set new standards for this tainted home ownership Solar marketplace...Kudos to you G.C. and especially Jesus!!!
