Manny and his crew did a great job pruning growth arching into our property from the 4-story, much-neglected poplar next door. They were VERY respectful of my small garden, which is unfolding in its spring bloom right now....so it is not easy to navigate.
They did the work by hand (no chainsaws) and worked together to lower the debris over the fence for removal. Nary a twig was left behind between the garden and street because their debris clean-up was so thorough.
Manny also did a great job shaping two small smoke trees that needed a skilled eye and hand to tidy.

We had a big tree fall Super Bowl Sunday late in the evening during the game. Rachelle responded promptly to the urgent call and had a team out first thing the next morning to deal with the situation.

Topped trees hanging over our house and removed 2 trees. This is the second time we’ve used them and we have been very satisfied with their work. They work quickly and are thorough. We highly recommend their company.

Got a chip drop from your company a few hours ago, and I am more than pleased with the service. Called me about an hour before they arrived, they were very polite and followed my instructions to the T. And were also very polite to my mother and grandfather who were home at the time (I'm at work). On chipdrop you don't get to choose your arborist but if I had a choice I would use A Plus every time!

We had a tree fall on our roof in a snow/ice storm. A Plus Tree came out right away and removed the tree and debris.

This company just came to our home in San jose to cut down a tree and smack me in the face with the small a redwood. The crew was very for unprofessional, they didn't even apologize for hitting me!

Employees performed a very difficult job with precision and professionalism. They were very concerned about what I wanted and discussed with me my expectations and requirements before they started the job. As important to me was that they cleaned up after the job. I highly recommend these guys and the company. Great work!

They worked fast and efficiently and were considerate of many of my neighbors and their needs. I had to park down the hill and as I walked up they stopped everything to be sure I was safe when I was passing the trucks. Wonderful workers and great company.

The A-Plus team has been an incredible company to work with. They are cutting edge with their software and means of recording/managing trees. The crew is quick to respond whether it be an emergency situation or annual tree maintenance proposals.
And to top it off the this is a well branded Company, when they pull onto a property they look great, which makes us look GREAT!

You guys were just at my apartment complex that past two weeks in Murrieta and I just wanted to say how awesome the guys were. They did their job really well and cleaned up very well however they also stopped to help people in need. One of my neighbor’s cars got stalled and they helped him push it into a parking spot. I, myself, was carrying a real wood table to my upstairs apartment with my friend and one of your guys stopped the truck to offer help. They were all very kind and professional. Hopelessly unprofessional, and typical of what goes wrong when a beloved local business is gobbled up by a larger out-of-town chain. Our local arborist, who lovingly tended our backyard urban mini-forest for over half a decade, was absorbed by this operation. And suddenly, no matter how many times we called and emailed and texted, we couldn't even get them to send over the bid they promised us after wasting our time with an onsite visit. Ultimately, we had to look elsewhere to get the work done, by which time it was too late in the season for some of the treatments our trees required. So now we've a nearly-dead pomegranate tree on our hands, and are just praying borers haven't found their way into our birch. A Plus? If you're at all concerned with truth in advertising, you'd be well advised to rebrand as F Minus.

And no, I'm not going to go digging through my records for the names of the four different company reps and office staff who never bothered to get us a proposal or return any of our messages. This company's negligence has already compelled us to do far too much additional uncompensated labor as it is, any more isn't going to get our birch treated weeks ago or resurrect this pomegranate tree we loved so very much. You're a large regional chain (now owned by an even larger private equity partnership, no less!), "A Plus", go do your own dang diagnostics and set your own house in order.

A couple of years ago, a Brazilian Pepper Tree in front of my house in South San Francisco was tearing up the pavement with its roots. Kate at APlus tried to save it (instead of chopping down the tree) by cutting its roots and applying chemical to stunt root growth on that side. The tree is now both growing beautifully and behaving well with its roots.

So great job for APlus. Thank you for such good work.

The guys in the crew are great, but the leadership doesn't stand behind their work. They trimmed my trees, but neglected to trim the trees away from my fence leaving it leaning away due to the trees pushing on it. I asked them to take care of it (1 hour of work max) and they sent me an invoice after having spent over $30k on a tree trimming job. Would not use again.

I was talking to the manager at our park and I was letting her know what a great job your team did at my home. My home is located on a corner and your team was outstanding maneuvering the boom truck, onto and out of my front yard (missing everything but an ugly juniper branch). They were able to get all the palm trees on the side of the home trimmed professionally. The team was fast picking up the cuttings and getting them shredded and out of there. Nothing was left behind - they did a phenomenal job.

A Plus has been so quick to respond not only for my personal needs at home, but for multiple properties that I manage. Rachelle and her team have gone above and beyond to make sure that the area they work in is clean and clear after each job. The response to emergency failures is impeccable and you cant ask for better service.

A Plus is the best tree care company you could hire! I am the manager of a large apartment community with over 700 trees. Their customer service is outstanding. The crew that cares for my trees, come into my office to let me know they are starting and they return to let me know when they are done for the day. They are also very courteous and respectful to my residents.
They way they manage the care of my trees and the tracking software is incredible! I could go on and on about how much I love this company!

We needed 8 old aspen trees removed from a courtyard in the middle of our 3-story building. A-plus came in for the job and I couldn't be more impressed with their work! The manager and the crew manager came in before the work was to be done to walk the property and make sure they had a good plan to hoist the trees over the building with a crane. Everyone was professional and friendly even when I asked 1000 questions interrupting their work. We are a senior living community and A-plus ensured the floors would stay clean and dry throughout their work to ensure the safety of our residents in our community. Very Impressed!!

They do not answer calls or text in timely manner. Once there was no reply when I called again, they said they were in a meeting and would call back. The didn't. Then they scheduled a person to come visit to get a quote, and he never turned up in the agreed upon time. The just don't seem to care at all.

I'd like to give them a good review, but A Plus Tree Trimmers are a threat to birds and overtrim trees. Despite trimming in June (the heart of bird nesting season), A Plus did not survey trees prior to trimming for active nests (nests with hatchlings or eggs). They caused the fatality of a Band-tailed Pigeon hatchling by overtrimming all around the nest, leaving it exposed to the elements. The baby bird was found dead on the ground below the nest the next day. God knows how many other nests they impacted at this large 256 unit complex where they trimmed dozens of trees. How sad and unnecessary. Best management practices require a wildlife survey of the tree prior to trimming and any tree with active wildlife nests should be avoided until the birds have fledged the nest. Ideally, trees should be trimmed only in months ending in "ER" (September-December) which avoids the nesting season. A Plus overtrimmed trees, an unfortunate trend which seems to be common in Southern California. The trees looked ugly after their work. I hope, for the sake of the birds and other wildlife that nest and live in trees, that A Plus provides all workers with wildlife training and become a more environmentally friendly company.

We were are so happy to have found a company that puts the health and safety of the tree, my property (and liability) ahead of immediate work/profit. After getting multiple astronomically priced quotes from other companies we got a reasonably priced quote for only the work needed for the trees we have. The arborist suggested we get the work done in a few months so the tree had the best chance to beat the light aphid problem it has on its own. Sherri was great about getting us a quote for later in the year. We will work with A-Plus for the foreseeable future. Thank you for being a great company with integrity.
