I had an excellent experience with Rooter shield and couldn’t be more satisfied with the service that John demonstrated. I was dealing with the frustrating kitchen sink draining problem that just wouldn’t go away and they had it quickly and professionally. From the moment they arrived they were knowledgeable and clearly experienced. They took the time to assess the issue thoroughly explained what was causing the blockage and walk me through the solution before starting the work. The repair itself was done efficiently and they made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. My sink now drains better than it has in a long time. They also cleaned up after the job which shows great attention and respect for the customers home. If you’re dealing with plumbing issues, I highly recommend Rooter Shield. This guy is awesome. Very friendly, came out within about an hour, reasonably priced with no surprise fees after the fact, and the best part is HE CLEARED THE BATHTUB CLOG, which was pretty major since tree roots were growing into our pipes. Would call again for any plumbing issues.

I hired John/Rooter Shield for a second opinion after the first plumber advised that detecting the leak under my balcony could leave my townhouse looking like Swiss cheese and could costs me thousands and replacing my shut-off valve, which broke when he attempted to shut-off, could costs me hundreds. John evaluated my property step by step just like the first plumber. Only difference is that John immediately suggested doing a leak detection BEFORE punching any holes. John informed me that it was not necessary to replace the entire shut-off pipes as the pipes were in good condition; only the valve needed to be replaced with an upgraded model. The price was reasonable. John educated me on the issue and we scheduled the leak detection right away. John was professional, punctual and transparent. He doesn’t gauge you with pricing and really gets “customer service”. I will hire him again and again. In one word, excellence!
