Roofing & Gutters reviews in Van Nuys, California

I had been dealing with water seeping through my roof when it would rain for the past year, and I knew I needed a long-term solution. I reached out to Waterproofing and Roofing and spoke to Itay for waterproofing, and from the very first conversation, I could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. He explained the different waterproofing options available, helping me understand the benefits of each. We decided on a high-quality membrane coating that would fully protect my roof from moisture damage.

The work was done meticulously. Itay and his team sealed all problem areas, applied the waterproof coating evenly, and made sure every inch of the roof was properly protected. Since then, my roof has performed flawlessly, even during severe weather. I no longer have to worry about leaks or hidden water damage, and the added insulation has even helped regulate the temperature inside my home.

Itay and his team are true professionals, and I highly recommend their waterproofing services. If you want to protect your home from long-term water damage, don’t wait—call them today!

Itay gave us a quote 2 weeks ago and finished the project about a day ago; their team was professional and their insight was valuable. Itay and his crew worked to get our full basement waterproofing job down and got a slab replacement and caulking application; he also did fully waterproof the basement within a week. He saved us money and that was my biggest issue at the moment; thank you highly recommend this company!

Prompt reply after requesting an estimate online . Was able to schedule the work in a very timely manner. Itay and his crew installed a sump pump and perimeter French drain system under our house. They were efficient, professional and are obviously amazing at the hard work they do, maneuvering in a crawl space digging and installing pipe and pump! And they were just nice guys . Itay gladly answered all my questions and explained everything they were doing. I'd give them 10 stars !

Had Itay come out and give me an estimate on a new roof. He was very professional and explained all phases of the job. Brought samples for us to look at. We made our selection with help from him as to the best shingles for our house. They are perfect and we are very pleased. Itay was one of three estimates we got and he was the second to least expensive with the best product of all them .

Understand that depending on the size of your roof this could be a one to three or a week affair. Ours took 2 days and the crew worked after dark to finish it up. They will be back tomorrow to do a little touch up on the hardy plank they replaced around the chimney that broke while tearing off the old roof. Much to our surprise, the old roof had three layers of felt paper so that slowed them down a bit. It is very messy tearing off an old roof and they were protective of all the plants and shrubs around the house. Replaced several of the shiplap boards that were either rotting or warped. Replaced a couple of wood siding boards that were rotted out. All in all a very good job and we are extremely pleased.

Waterproofing and Roofing just did a comprehensive exterior waterproofing/resealing on our 3 floor coop.  We had been getting mysterious signs of water seeping in through brick.  They came and diagnosed that the exterior walls were in pretty bad shape and needed resealing. It was very good timing to learn this, because soon after - some of the old plaster/stucco had started to fall off!  We hired Itay and crew for the job and found them to be professional, courteous and conscientious.  As they worked they discovered other areas where stucco was dangerously loose, and replaced it.  They also removed an epic vine covering an entire wall and repaired another wall in the garden area that was also crumbling.  All of this happened efficiently and with very little stress.  Great job!!

I had my roof repaired. I did a website search and found this company. The representative came to our home within 48 hours after setting up the appointment. Itay came and explained the process and showed samples of shingles and explained pricing and what's allowed in my area. From the time that I found them on Google to the end time when the job was completed, Itay was in continuous talks with us. He provided updates and the time frame that he proposed for the work, the company actually fulfilled and met those deadlines. We are extremely satisfied with the Roofing & Waterproofing's service. I will DEFINITELY recommend this company to others.

Great response from this company. Itay and crew were awesome...replaced two layers of roofing waterproofed it and installed a new roof a week ago, No problems since and it looks nice. They obtained the color and design we liked. Itay is coming today to inspect a leaking gutter, no charge and he said he will tighten the gutter to the fascia board. This is not the company's responsibility, just an indication of how responsive and helpful they are to their customer. Thanks Itay and company.

Itay and his crew installed a drain tile and sump pump in our crawlspace. He and his crew were timely, very professional, and courteous. They did everything we asked and then some! It was a difficult and messy job for them which they performed admirably and cleaned up very well. Have yet to see how the system works, but as far as the crew they showed up when they said they would, did the job faster than they said they would, and left our place looking better than when they got here. Thanks guys - great work!

Great price, courteous service, and did not try to oversell me what I didn't need. Itay came out to give us a free quote to repair damaged soffit on one side of our house; I also asked him to quote us for a total roof replacement as it was also fairly old. He was very honest with us that our roof still had around 5 years in it and did not try to upsell me on replacing the entire soffit, only the damaged portion, He also recommended that we waterproofed it also instead of replacing the entire roof, Results were professional and you can't tell there was a repair at all. He even took before and after pictures at my request. I would highly recommend this company for your next roof repair, Waterproof or replacement.

I researched extensively to find a waterproofing company before calling Waterproofing and Roofing, They did not disappoint! The team was very responsive and quickly came to give me an estimate. I found the price to be very reasonable and fair. The Waterproofing and Roofing was very reasonable, especially for the value of the work that they produced.  I even inquired about an additional service (concrete repair ) and the estimator (very knowledgeable man!) informed me that they could do it!

Not only did they come out very quickly, but the process to get on their schedule was seamless, easy and super efficient.  They were a dream to work with. They repaired a crack that was leaking in my basement and waterproofed the entire thing . The process took about 8 hours and produced perfect results. No more leaking!  Their customer service after the job was complete was quite amazing. They called and emailed to make sure the job was to my satisfaction. Who does that these days!!!  I highly recommend them and will be using them again should I ever need their service again. Excellent job!

I cannot say enough good things about our entire experience with Surfacing and Waterproofing.  From the first meeting and going over all of the options with Itay, getting it scheduled and all of my questions answered with him, to the expert installation of our new roof by his crew.  We are thrilled with our beautiful new roof and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to do business with a friendly, reliable and professional company.

A new leak in our foundation appeared and water was seeping in was discovered when we were watering our yard.  Several clean ups were required and definitely had to get it repaired before the rainy season .  A new friend recommended The Waterproofing and Roofing to me and I'm so glad he did.  Within a week the crack was patched/ waterproofed! They were careful to find the source of the problem and correct the issue in its entirety.  The next time I watered my yard proved that their work was completed with care and precision for no water appeared inside our home.
I am very grateful to the kind and knowledgeable man who came out to initially talk with me,  for the fine workmanship of the job, for responding so quickly, and for the fair price given.   I highly recommend The Waterproofing and Roofing!

Itay and his team did a great job on waterproofing our balcony which had been giving us headache for years. His team, is hard working, responsible, and attentive to details. They did a good job on making sure the work will not damage the landscape plants below, and on cleaning up after every day's job is completed. We are very happy with every phase of the project, from removing the old tiles and concrete, replacing the damaged plywood, applying the waterproofing membrane to manufacturer's specs, conducting a
24-hour water test, and to installing the amazingly looking pavers. They also did a good job on fixing the downstair ceiling where leak was. We look forward to a leak-free balcony for years to come, and I have confidence that Itay has delivered it. I highly recommend Waterproofing and Roofing!

We had three balconies that were starting to show signs of wear cracking, water stains, and in one case, some actual leaking into the space below. I was nervous it might turn into a bigger issue, but Itay came through big time. From the quote to the final walkthrough, everything was super professional but still easygoing. Itay explained the waterproofing process clearly and gave us realistic timelines. The work itself was flawless clean lines, solid sealing, and no shortcuts. You can tell they knew exactly what they were doing. I wouldn’t trust just anyone with this kind of job, but I’d hire them again in a heartbeat.

Waterproofing and Roofing was fantastic. Itay is detail oriented and thorough when inspecting the damage. He gave us a few options to do a partial replacement or whole replacement of the roof. We went with a full roof replacement, and couldn't be happier with the results. His crew worked diligently to finish the roof replacement well. They also cleaned up the entire area after the completion of the replacement. I would highly recommend using Waterproofing and Roofing!

We recently hired Waterproofing and Roofing to address moisture issues in our crawl space and standing water around our home. From the initial consultation, Itay was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly assess the problem, explaining the best solutions in a clear and professional manner.
To resolve our concerns, Itay and his team installed a high-quality drainage system, a sump pump, and fully encapsulated our crawl space. The difference has been remarkable—no more excess moisture, and our home feels significantly more protected from potential water damage. Throughout the entire process, Itay and his crew were hardworking, efficient, and incredibly professional. They completed the job on time, cleaned up thoroughly, and delivered excellent craftsmanship at a very fair and reasonable price.
We are beyond satisfied with the results and will absolutely reach out to them for any future home improvement projects. If you’re looking for a reliable and skilled contractor, we highly recommend Itay and his team!

I can’t say enough good things about Waterproofing and roofing and their basement waterproofing service! Before they stepped in, my basement was practically unusable—damp floors, water stains, and that awful mildew smell. Their team quickly diagnosed the problem and provided a detailed plan to fix it. They worked efficiently, kept everything clean, and even took the time to explain how to maintain a dry basement moving forward. It’s been about a week now, and despite the rain, my basement remains completely dry. No more stressing every time it rains! This was hands-down one of the best home improvement investments I’ve made. Highly recommend!

My roof had gotten old and worn. The felt had peeled and cracked and I had several damaged tiles. Whenever a sustained rain would occur I would find a new leak coming through my ceiling.

Prior to calling Waterproofing and Roofing I would get a quick patch whenever I got a leak, however it became unsustainable to keep doing that and I needed a more permanent approach and I was concerned with the cost of a full roof repair.

I used Google to look up some of the roofing companies in the valley, however many of the biggest companies were backlogged to several months before they could address my roof.

I saw the Waterproofing and Roofing and noticed that the company owner responded quickly to complaints and was quite worried about his customer concerns. Most of the reviews were also excellent.

I called them up and found out that I could get my roof fixed within the month and I could get the whole roof done for less then what I was worried the costs would be.I ended up getting my entire roof waterproofed also so I can reduce the chances of any leaks in the future, The crew was just as fantastic cleaning up after themselves after each work day also were super friendly and hardworking. I had a great experience and would fully recommend Waterproofing and Roofing.

I discovered that my balcony was leaking due to the rain from last year. Surfacing and Waterproofing were recommended to me by my brother, and since I trusted my brother and, I didn't bother to shop around for pricing. I immediately called them to give me an estimate, and if the cost to waterproof my balcony was reasonable, I planned to have them resurface and waterproof it, which it was.

I must say that they did a wonderful job on waterproofing my balcony. I'm thrilled with the color, the surface texture (which is easy to clean by simply hosing it down or sweeping), and most importantly, there are no more leaks.

My neighbors have also seen the finished product and inquired about it. I wholeheartedly recommended them, and will be using them in the future for waterproofing the rest of my balcony’s!!!

Itay and his crew completed our new garage roof, and also replaced the roof on our home and shed. They did all of this work in about a week . I'm beyond impressed by the quality of their work, their professionalism, timeliness, competitive pricing and attention to detail. Itay inspected our existing roof thoroughly and caught repairs needed, some we didn't even know existed. I'm so grateful for his keen eye. After this experience, Waterproofing and Roofing has earned our business for any and all of our future roofing needs and we will definitely be recommending friends and family to do the same.

I had ongoing issues with water seeping into our commercial building through the balconies, causing damage to walls and ceilings below. Every time it rained, moisture would find its way through cracks, pooling in unwanted areas and leading to costly repairs. After getting the balconies professionally waterproofed, the difference has been night and day!
The team did an incredible job sealing off every potential entry point, preventing water from penetrating the structure. Even during heavy rain, there are no leaks, and the building stays completely dry. They were professional, efficient, and completed the job on time without disrupting daily operations. If you're dealing with water intrusion from balconies, don't wait-this service is a game-changer. Highly recommended!
