What this company does… I have to say, I’m really impressed. I’d been noticing some troubling damp spots on my bedroom ceiling, and couldn’t figure out what was going on. Turns out, a broken roof tile was letting rainwater through, which was causing all sorts of damage so I called them and the team showed up quickly, fixed the roof, and got right to work on repairing the ceiling. They took the time to explain that if I’d waited any longer, I could have ended up with much bigger problems, like structural damage or mold. I’m so grateful to Tip Top Restoration for their fast and effective service. They not only fixed the immediate issue but also helped prevent a potential disaster.

Run! If I could give them less than one star, I would. Do not use this company! The worst company ever. Dishonest, nontransparent, lies after lies, and only here to make money off your insurance by insanely overcharging for things they did not do. There is no transparency whatsoever, as numerous people have written both here and on Better Business Bureau (check out the BBB site), trying to gouge my insurance company. We had a water leak, and they were recommended by the plumber, who regrets ever giving me their contact information! They first brought in broken machines, almost causing a disaster as their machine leaked water all over my living room carpet overnight instead of drying the place out from the bathroom water leak. They did work without my knowledge, and once I fired them for not being transparent by asking them to pick up their equipment, they pulled down all the containment plastic barrier (which they charged us for), exposing us to possible mold.
The company they sent to test for asbestos charged six times what the company my insurance company sent. Not double, but six times more in the thousands! They then sent a bill of over ten thousand dollars for work they never did. They moved some of my furniture, were here for 1 hour, and charged for six-plus hours of work. They pushed a grand piano on wheels to one side of the room and charged $750, which I could have done myself. Unbelievable. It's a good thing I have cameras in the house and the Ring doorbell, as we are still fighting over their ridiculous charges.

Tip Top Restoration did a great job restoring my house from water damage from a storm flood we had. I called Tip Top Restoration to help me with a flood that happened at my business in Lancaster, CA. I found Tip Top Restoration with a simple google search and saw that they also have a Google Guarantee so I decided to call and make an appointment. The cause of the leak was a toilet hose that broke off due to too much water pressure and it flooded every square inch of my 4,725 sq ft warehouse. The project manager assigned to my claim was Christian (Chris) Ulloa. He was always easy to get in touch with and he was always on time. The most valuable thing about working with Chris is that he always took the time to explain everything to me and to make sure I was included every step of the way. I was never left in the dark and he was very transparent with everything. They moved quickly to make sure they had dehumidifiers, blowers, and filters set up in the warehouse because it was a very bad flood. They monitored the moisture levels every day. Most of the time it was Jesus who was scheduled to come and check the moisture levels and to make sure everything was working properly. Jesus was very nice and always had a positive attitude. He even explained to me how the moisture meter testing works and didn't make me feel dumb for asking. I really appreciated that. From Day 1, Chris had his team ready to go and he was ready to get the job done right. He went above and beyond to make sure he got in touch with my claim adjuster and he made sure he was in touch with my leasing office. The Tip Top restoration team was very communicative and very respectful of my belongings when they came to help me move everything. They took lots of pictures and documented the inventory that was being moved to their storage location. Most of my stuff had to be moved out in order to get the carpets ripped out and demolition started to remediate. For other important items, they were able to quickly build containment areas to protect everything. The supervisor in charge of the moving team was Alex and he was great too! I had a lot of inventory and he was very respectful of all my requests and made sure his team did the job right. Another supervisor, also named Chris, came in to do air quality testing which was very important for me. From beginning to end Chris Ulloa was really good about staying in touch with me, addressing my concerns, and keeping me informed. Chris, if you're reading this, thank you so much for everything! Our toilet leaked and flooded our bathroom and bedroom. Dan and the TipTop crew came out almost immediately and I was very pleased. I used to be in the carpet and cleaning business and I know the importance of getting things done ASAP. They put in the fans to dry out the carpets and the pads. They did good on getting everything dried out. We saved the carpet but they tore out the bad part of the pad and that had to be replaced. They were very conscious of what they were doing and had the little machine with them to check the dryness. It was great.
There were three different guys that I talked to from TipTop and each one was quite knowledgeable, very friendly and did their jobs really well. We will recommend them and if we have to have such service again, we'll call them for sure.
