If I can give these wack ass hell so called landscapers a rating it will be -5 since we changed landscapers at Mosaic Apartments in Oxnard Brightview/valley crest has been letting every single tree die, they let the plants die on purpose or they just pull them out on purpose for no reason so they can charge extra to replace them, they over water plants in pots and let them die, IT IS RARE WHEN YOU SEE THEM ON THE PROPERTY, all they do is sit their lazy asses down and eat half of the time they are there, the supervisor Tony is more of a stupervisor just like everyone else in brightview/valley crest he doesn’t do shhh. The owner should just stop the business it’s horrible landscape company that isn’t worth nothing. Glad we’re gonna give them the boot soon

Brightview is a great landscaping company I meet these to workers Chepe and Rafa and they were very helpful people ,very hard working people

I'm not sure about the landscaping services, but they must be doing great since they have to many employees and locations... They all have to park on the commerical/residential street and clog it up/litter M-F especially and even Saturdays. I live a block away and got harassed by a laborer, can't even get into my car without being oogled and whistled at (while they're blocking traffic on an already narrow street). Now this one particular laborer parks right in front of my house, and moved property in my yard. Waiting to hear back from management.

Here is a sloppy landscape company in River Park Oxnard. These people leave tire 🛞 tracks on the sidewalks, BREAK 💦sprinklers, and sleep 💤 on the sidewalk during routine maintenance.The WATER CONSERVATION in Oxnard promotes WATER WISDOM but is unwise in their efforts to hold sub par grass cutters to their mistakes. Problem reported and put on calendar for January 2029.

I'm recanting my poor review of Brightview landscape. As it wasn't poor service it was poor communication and My sincerest apologies. Just know that many of my neighbors and I appreciate all the work you do around our Park and extra care you took addressing my issue. And any further concerns I know to come to your team first and you'll take care of it. If you're looking for a good Landscaping team? Pick these guys. Always professional and vigilant group of people. And sorry 4 is the highest I ever score. I was taught there's always room for improvement even when you're at your best like these guys.

It’s not professional to be cat called by two different drivers within a 4 minute period while walking my dogs. This happened just this morning on 9/9. One of your workers had the audacity to honk his horn while the other employee in the passenger seat had a huge smile on his face and laughing all while staring me down. I was disgusted. Then to continue to walk and have yet another of your landscaping vehicles pass me again and this time not honk but stare me down to the point of looking like he was going to break his neck. This is the last thing I want while walking my dogs. 1. I didn’t ask for it, 2. It’s the farthest thing from flattery especially when it’s coming from someone who could be your father’s age, 3. It’s one of the most unprofessional things to do while being in your work vehicle with your logo branded everywhere. Please have your employees do better.

After contacting Ryan the local manager about his guys blowing all the leaf's, grass cuttings and trash under my bushes he assured me it would be taken care of not shocker it was not. they are overall a poor company that does mediocre work at best. I would recommend any HOA or company to look elsewhere unless you like poor quality work and people who don't do what they say they are going to do.

Response to the owner. supposedly it will be taken care of this week I doubt it will or will past this week. A simple way to have it handled is to have your guys do there job and hold a set of standards. If you need me to communicate to you via email as the owner what was exchanged to the people in the field and the manager you are the problem with the company.

week three update 10/3/2025 not a surprise they have failed yet again to do the job they are hired to do. Shocking how a Landscaping company does not know how to use a leaf blower.

These guys do an awesome job. When I signed up with them to do lawn maintenance (mow, trim, edge and weed) they offered soil analysis and checked my sprinklers to make sure everything was running smoothly. Turns out, therwas a chemical imbalance in the soil and some of the sprinklers were malfunctioning. Now, my grass is the greenest on the block with no dead spots and I'm using less water. My yard looks great! I highly recommend them!

Avoid! After they scalped my lawn and dug their lawnmower blade into the sod root and dirt they didn’t even seem interested in repairing the Property Damage to my property.

Very pleased with this landscape company. The gardeners are polite and friendly. They came out and helped me decide what plants and flowers would be best for my yard. The results are beautiful.

These are the WORST landscapers I have ever seen. They maintain the landscaping for the Northwood Community in Thousand Oaks. They are rude to area homeowners and their work is pitiful. There are weeds all over the community and many of the bushes are nearly dead or overgrown and unsightly.

They treat actual homeowners as if they are renters and act as if they actually own the property.

I checked their website and noticed that they have "contests" for property management companies. I guess that explains how they actually get their clients.

My development just hired this company and they chipped my wood bridge with their lawn mower. It’s common sense to pickup the mower, carry it down the steps and over a brige...usually it’s a two men job. There’s no supervisor around to oversee the workers. We saw one guy pushing the lawn mower down the steps and over the bridge. One of our steps have a small chip and if this continues there will be more chips to come each week.

I've been working with Plowboy Landscapes for a few months now, and they have provided my housing community with excellent service. Their gardeners are well trained and their supervisors are informative and friendly. I highly recommend working with the Plowboy team.

Our HOA has worked with Plowboy for almost 4 years. They were instrumental in our WaterWise landscape renovation project covering 48 homes on 11 acres. It's not easy working with 48 homeowners. I am the landscape chairman and I have found Barry Peterson very responsive and his workers punctual. We have changed groundsmen several times as some were better workers and more knowledgeable than others. It's about communication and I have found that Plowboy is good at communicating and following through with issues that come up. They want to keep us happy.

Please teach your guys how to park, or do they feel too special to use only one parking spot

I had 5 buildings that this company was responsible for landscaping. In my opinion, they billed for services not performed. Inspect their work. Poor customer service. Hire someone else save yourself the headaches.

Literally, one of the worst companies in the industry. Received a notice today that they are cancelling their services. Thank god!!! Thank you!! These guys don't know how to plant/landscape. They put the cheapest plants in the neighborhood and up charge by 100%. If your an HOA forget these guys! Due your due diligence. Joanne is the owner and Jesus is the GM. I would not trust this company.

My encounter with Horizon Hardscapes & Landscaping was excellent. They were meticulous and professional in how they changed my patio area. Their staff was amiable and productive, and the quality of their work is excellent. Strongly advised for anyone wishing to improve their landscaping!
