Does anyone know what's going on with this company? They came out a week ago to bid, went through my whole house taking pics and videos, then ghosted. Everytime I call, it goes to voicemail with a mailbox full. I tried texting, no response. Are they ok? Is this a scam? What's going on? Help.

I cannot recommend Strong Oak Moving enough! From the initial quote, communications to the final delivery, Jose and Victor are absolutely fantastic. They arrived exactly on time, were professional, and worked with incredible efficiency. They took great care of all our furniture in wraps and blanket. They also took great care with our fragile items. They even helped assemble my bed, other furnitures, and positioned everything exactly where I wanted it in my new home. If you are looking for an stress-free, reliable, and high-quality move and good value, hire them!

Used For Service April 2026 | Strong Oak Moving Company did an amazing job with my move. The team was incredibly careful, courteous, and professional the entire time. They packed everything very neatly, handled my items with so much care, and nothing was broken or damaged. You can tell they really take pride in their work and want to make sure everything goes smoothly. Moving is usually so stressful, but they made the whole process feel much easier. I really appreciated how respectful, hardworking, and careful they were from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Strong Oak Moving Company to anyone looking for movers they can trust.

We hired Strong Oak to load our 3bdr house into a 20ft moving truck for a cross country move. Great communication in the planning process from Jose Luis. The two men who worked with us that day were kind, communicative, hard working and did a great job. Everything was handled with care and packed securely. We would definitely re-hire them again if we return to California.

Contacted on a Saturday for a move the one week for the following Monday. (Week and a half away) I knew it was short notice, but we spoke on Saturday and he sent me the details to send back to him (area, my contact info) to complete a quote. We were looking for help only to move items and boxes. He said he can supply a truck as well and would include that in the quote. I allowed him through Sunday to get the quote. Monday morning spoke and he said he would dig through his texts for the info and would work on it. Tuesday tried to call - could only leave message and sent text. No response. Wednesday afternoon, attempted to call, left message and he THEN left a text only saying no one available to help. So now we are scrambling. Another mover said movers like Strong Oak are not "legal" movers and don't have insurance or workers comp. I specifically asked Strong Oak if they are insured and carry workers comp and was informed they use an employment service who covers workers comp. I asked if he can send proof of that and he said yes, but I suspect I fell for a lie or at the least a misstatement. I realize we did this on short notice, but I could have used those two days (from Monday to Wednesday) to attempt to locate help elsewhere.

Recently utilized Strong Oak Moving to separate and divide house hold items including large appliances into storage and donation. They were efficient and communicative. Perfect for local in town moving projects. We appreciate their ability and willingness to remove large pieces of furniture and other items we needed to donate or throw away.

We hired Strong Oak to unpack our POD from an out of state move and couldn't be more happy. They were professional and approachable, thorough, highly organized and skilled. Fast and flexible as well. A hassle free experience in 2025? Yes please! They delivered.

These gentleman were amazing. They moving my furniture downstairs from my apartment into their giant trailer/truck, in the rain, without any of my things getting wet. Even my refrigerator! In addition, they made this look easy.

I called Strong Oak Moving, on short notice, to get a quote to unload a 28 foot trailer that was coming from out of state to Visalia.

Their price was extremely reasonable, they showed up on time, worked quickly, were very careful with my furniture, and were genuinely nice guys. I will absolutely use them for a local move in the future and will recommend them to friends and family!

They even text/call before coming to my home to alert me which I appreciated so I can prepare. They were careful with my furniture, moved quickly, and are amazing. I was very impressed with the professionalism, care, and communication that Jose and his crew exhibited during a recent move for my sister-in-law. I've always been a hands-on person but it gets more difficult as I age. With Jose and his crew, I found myself having to step-back out of the way and let them do their thing. They were quick and have a system that works great for loading and unloading... all without a single complaint. The crew were friendly and careful with all the household furniture. I called Strong Oak Moving to get an estimate for moving furniture and boxes from a house to a storage facility. They were very professional. I was emailed an estimate and was able to put down a deposit to secure their services for the day I needed them. They arrived on time the day we were to move and made sure our furniture would not get damaged while loading by wrapping with blankets. They did a great job in unloading and placing boxes and furniture in the storage unit. They completed the job in the time we agreed upon and made the moving stress free for us. The Strong Oak men saved the day for me! I had hired some helpers who assisted me to pack up my apartment during the month of November, 2022, and move my belongings into my local storage unit. The plan was to do the final load two days before my lease expired.

On the morning of the final day, they called to tell me they didn't want to work anymore. I had been paying them very well, and it was apparent that they were living large on what I'd already paid them, and they had no sense of professionalism, loyalty, or responsibility. It's good that I planned the final move a couple of days before my lease expired, because now I was scrambling.

Things looked grim until Jose from Strong Oak called me back. He had another pending job but told me that the important thing was to get me out of my apartment on time. He offered to keep my belongings in his big trailer on his lot until he could schedule the next leg of putting my items in my storage unit.

The next morning he sent two great men who loaded everything into their trailer. Jose himself arrived a little later with news that his other pending job was postponed. So, they were able to put all of my belongings into my storage unit same day. They even had to rearrange the previous guys' placements. AND his fee was extremely reasonable considering the emergency nature of the job. I knew up front what to expect re: cost and was happy to pay it.

Moving is always stressful but Jose and crew were so positive and encouraging. Jose is a problem solver. He makes it happen. The work ethic displayed by all of the Strong Oaks is invaluable.

I now have to move my belongings cross country, but I'm at ease because Jose told me that when I'm ready, he has the resources to get everything loaded and moved (and can even arrange to hire people to unload at the destination). As I said, Jose is a problem solver and that's GOLDEN!

I needed a large aquarium moved. These guys did an amazing job way beyond what i was expecting. The move was from the garage to the den. I was expecting that they will just carry cabinet and aquarium and then set it. However, they took time to wrap up the cabinet and the aquarium before they carried each one to make sure nothing got scratched. And they also made measurements to make sure aquarium is correctly centered in the room. I am very appreciative of their care and respect for my property. Definitely will hire again on any moving needs.

Strong Oak moving was amazing. From the minute I spoke with Jose he was very accommodating. I just needed someone for 2 hours to load a U-haul. Angelica arranged all the paperwork she was very kind and easy to deal with. We were running late the day of our move Jose moved the meet time back.Travis and Michael should up on time they need exactly what they were doing and how to pack.
