These guys are great. Darryl thoroughly check out our furnace and ductwork. His bid included all the options I asked for and won out over four other bids. The work done was very professional. Removal of old furnace and ductwork one day. Installed new furnace and ductwork and made everything work over the next two days. They were easy to work with and cleaned up each day. Hire them for your furnace job.

Hardy Air installed a whole-house Carrier AC system, including all new ductwork. It cools in the summer and heats in the winter. No more big propane bills and no more discomfort during the occasional heat wave. They were a pleasure to work with. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth every penny.

I had a local AC contractor install a Daikin mini-split system and they configured it incorrectly and abandoned the job. Then I called a very large HVAC company in San Jose and their mini-split people had no experience with Daikin and advised me to find another company with Daikin experience. I called Hardy and Jimmy went to work on the outdoor unit, reconfigured it and charged for one hour of diagnostic work and one more hour making it work and checking the operation of the system. I was very happy with the work and I knew that I had found the right people for the job.

EDIT: Received a call from the front office apologizing for the miss. The owner, Darrell, himself came out and was willing to mame an appointment after my work hours (and theirs) in order to take a look. Unfortunately my furnace was not repairable. He also pointed out an issue with the termination sticking out of our roof that had recently been replaced during a reroof and reached out to the roofing company to discuss them fixing it. Currently awaiting a quote for replacement.

1st post:
Made an appointment for service (a 3 hour window that I had to plan to be home from work for) and the guy didn’t show up. No phone call to let me know. Calls the next morning with a very lukewarm apology saying he had just noticed he missed it on his calendar.

I have been looking for a reputable company to service my HiVelocity tankless hot water HVAC system after the installer retired. Hardy Quality Air to the rescue!!  Their maintenance team is well-trained, they show up on time, and the office staff make it easy to schedule repair visits. They also accept clients in a wide service area, which is a necessity for me.  I will continue to use Hardy Quality Air for maintenance of my HVAC system, and I highly recommend them.

Hardy Quality Air CARES about their customers, as well as being expert at identifying the cause of our furnace breakdown. Because a member of our household is ill and requires a heated environment, when our furnace broke down in the middle of a cold streak, Hardy Quality Air went out of their way to give us an appointment that same day! Winter days with early morning lows in the high 30s is not the best time for our 20-year-old furnace to stop working. After I placed a call on Monday, Ricardo was able to come out the next morning and diagnose the problem. He was missing the replacement part to repair it during the first visit but showed up with it later that afternoon as promised. He was friendly and professional and I am completely satisfied with the great service he provided.

Just finished having Ricardo with Hardy Quality Air. He is amazing! Came yesterday and diagnosed a problem with our furnace not stating very quickly to a bad board. He ordered the part, but said it would probably be a few days before he could return. He called me the next day and said he had the board and he could install it right now. Deeply indebted and very thankful.
He should be paid more! ;-)

When I reached out to Hardy Quality Air in Watsonville to have our furnace fixed, they were able to schedule an appointment within one day (another local company was scheduling over 2 weeks out!). Ricardo came out and quickly assessed the problem, which required a replacement motor assembly. I’ve gotten used to service calls that result in more waiting to hear about parts availability, however Ricardo got back within a few hours with availability and a full cost estimate.
Fast forward past a long weekend and Ricardo came out early the first day of the workweek and installed the new motor and everything is working great.
When I asked about a better filter, he provided a replacement for free!

Ricardo was extremely responsive, explained the problem very clearly and did everything a customer should expect. He is definitely provides exceptional service. Highly recommended.

I have a 15 year old Carrier Infinity heating system, and the thermostat died. I went through my home warranty and they "couldn't find a contractor", so I got to pick my own. Hardy is Carrier certified and Ricardo brought everything with him that he needed to get me up and running again in one appointment. He answered all the home warranty's questions and made the process very smooth and easy! Hardy Air is great and I'd call them again for my HVAC needs.

I had a major issue with the boiler for my hot water and radiant heating. Ricardo from Hardy Quality Air was fantastic. He was on time, worked super hard and efficiently and was really smart at troubleshooting the problem. I would highly recommend him.
