They were quick to respond and did a solid job when they cleaned my dryer vent. The techs were neat and polite. Noticed a better airflow right away. We put in a whole-house water softener and I learned that the residual salts in the washing process were also causing a buildup of crusty, mineralized vent pipe interior, part of what was causing the accelerated clog. KJ Vent Cleaning did a full dryer vent cleaning and then did a solvent rinse with a soft agent post-brushing to help melt away the hard mineral deposits embedded with the lint. This specialized treatment was something that was necessary for my home.

As someone with a big family, the laundry machines in our Westminster home by Mile Square Park are always busy. They brought a special vacuum system that extracted a ridiculous amount of lint from the lengthy duct path. They said that in very frequented homes, a dryer vent cleaning is something you need to do, otherwise the chance of having a house fire is higher. Super professional.

We live in an older tract home, so I have the original ventilation pipes that are narrower with some old accordion style flexible ducting catching lint and I was concerned that a rough dryer vent cleaning would break the brittle, old metal pipe.

But KJ's technician was amazing. They utilized the vacuum-based process but also had air whips specially designed for the nuanced angles of the old ducts and instead of ripping out the seams because they were so old and brittle, they were able to release it from the bends without damage and checked for weakness before and after the cleaning process.

This specialized method for old, non-standard ducting is why KJ Vent Cleaning is better than the other general contractors. They maintained my existing infrastructure and made it safe again.
