Greg and his brother came to cut down a tree hanging over my neighbor's yard today. They showed up early and took care of it in no time, polite, on time, great work. Best prices compared to another company that came out to have a look. This is my go to tree trimmer going forward.

Greg at Gw and his crew are awesome guys they trimmed two trees at my mothers house in Whittier fast responsive cheaper than 3 other tree services I called and the others did not have a contractors license!! they even drove to my house in Huntington Beach few days later and trimmed up my 60’ California Sycamore, and removed two other trees on my property no problems fast and easy 5+ stars!!

Greg and his guys are the best! Very professional, very polite, very personable, made sure they were trimming to please us which we appreciated. Their clean- up is superior! Will definitely be calling Greg and his team again in the future—-highly recommend!

GW Tree Service did a great job trimming my ash tree. They were professional, efficient, and clearly knowledgeable about proper tree care. The work was done quickly, and they left the area clean when they finished. I’m very happy with the results and would definitely recommend them.

Had Greg & his crew come and take care of 3 trees for me. Very professional! He came and gave me an estimate, we talked about what I wanted. He made a couple of suggestions (very appreciated), we set up a day & time. They showed up and got to work, he even called me during the day to tell me that once they started, they found out that my biggest tree was rotted all the the way down the trunk (which I suspected). He recommended that it should be topped even more but it was my decision. He never mentioned more cost…..I did. They were finished and gone by the time we got home from work. Everything was cleaned up perfectly, you wouldn’t even have known they were there! They even bagged up the avocados and left them on the porch! Outstanding job! I highly recommend GW Tree Service!

Greg from GW Tree Service completed the job Friday 2/20. We had to postpone for a couple days due to the rain.

His crew came in at 7:00am and began setup. They made sure everything was moved away from under or near the tree. This included a fountain that we partially dismounted and covered with a trash can for safety. He also made sure an aloe vera plant was protected. The worked professionally to remove the tree. This was about a 70’ jacaranda tree. We both forgot to take a before picture. He finished that around 1:00pm. After taking the logs and cuttings from the chipper, he returned that afternoon to grind down the stump. He used the stump shavings as a ground cover and cleaned up everything.

He did a professional job and this was a better price than the other bids we took. He is fully bonded and insured including workman’s compensation.

Greg and his crew arrived on time. They cut down my dead tree and grinded the stump for me. He also trimmed our pepper tree and a neighbors tree off the property line. His crew was professional and left everything clean. Would definitely hire them again.

We lost a lovely 80 year 25ft evergreen pear tree in last rain/wind storm. Bummer situation. Greg and GW Tree Service provided timely response. Greg clearly described his capability to remove, stump grind. He drove 2 hrs to our site to clarify all details followed by a written quote. Licensed, bonded with WC was important to me. We considered 8 companies, bid 3 and awarded GW. Friendly crew and good equipment. We are very satisfied with GW. Will call GW again for tree service.

I do not know how well they do their job, but they dumped a huge truckload of trash in my hills right next to my house.

Have been asking for a quote for 3 months. I've called Mr. Chavez 6-8 times. He always asks me to text him my address, which I do, and he never responds.

I guess he has plenty of business...
