I hired Glenns to fix an ice maker at my workplace, and they showed up promptly to assess the issue. They assured me that replacing a part would resolve the problem. However, the first replacement didn't work, and the quote skyrocketed to over $1,000 for a new main board. This still didn't fix it.
I requested a refund since they couldn't get the unit working, but I was told I'd be reimbursed on the next billing cycle, which seemed excessive considering I paid upfront upon completion. The lack of transparency and accountability is staggering.
Glenns has consistently dodged my calls and failed to put me in touch with anyone who can help. Their owner finally ended our conversation abruptly today, and now she won't respond to my calls. This experience has left a sour taste. As someone familiar with good customer service (having worked at Bell Roof Company since 1928), I'm appalled by their approach.
In short, stay far away from Glenns.
